The Citin Pratunam is perfectly located in the very heart of one of Bangkok's most popular shopping and business districts, namely Pratunam.

Accommodation and facilities:
The hotel is close to Panthip Plaza and that is the only thing good about it. Otherwise the location itself is not good and no taxi will enter the area so if you are carrying heavy luggage, you will have to carry on your own for about half a km. The internet service in the hotel is pretty bad. They won't let you access internet on two devices at one time. So, if you are on laptop, other people in the room can't use their iPad or other devices for internet. Internet kept going down every few hrs and had to call the enquiry desk 2-3 times to get it back on. Bathrooms are pretty small. Free tuk tuk service runs every 30 mins only so it's of no use most of the times. Only one access card is provided, so if there are two people staying, both have to go out at the same time.

we spent 2 nites at citin, check put early one because we have to go to huahin. nice small hotel clean hospitality excelent front desk, but disapointed to breakfast supposed american buffet breakfast but it is vegetarian breakfast buffet, along wiht me 2 kids, they charge 1 kids 150 bath for breakfast, that is not worth and expensive, location truly hard to fine, its in small soi, overall nice small hotel with great front line staff.

В Бангкоке два дня жили в отеле Citin Pratunam – отель соответствует «цена-качество». Располагается в центре, рядом с Baiyoke Sky Hotel, что является прекрасным ориентиром в городе. Удобное расположение на тихой улице, недалеко (5 минут пешком) до вещевого рынка, где можно заняться шопингом. Много местных кафе и продавцов с традиционной тайской едой (все чистенько и проблем с пищеварением не было :)). Отель так же порадовал: маленький, уютный, обслуживающий персонал внимательный, в номере чисто и есть все необходимое.

the location is very hard to get to but if you tell the taxi driver to drop you off at the indra regent its only around the corner the hotel in its self is alright but the other guests that were staying there were very rude not only were they very inconsiderate to other guest but to the staff as well which didnt make it a pleasant stay

Took me a long while to decide whether I should waste my time to comment on this hotel. Location is extremely difficult to find, spent 3 times the amount on cab fare to locate the hotel. Smack right between a dark, dingy single lane alley. Hotel nothing fantastic. Towels were grey and stringy, pillows came without pillow cases until we requested. Took housekeeping 3hrs to come with the pillow cases because all bed linen were in the laundry they claimed. Service nothing to write about. Shocked that the staff can claim hotel is very new. For this price, I would rather stay at the other hotels nearby.

We stayed at Citin Pratunam on Dec 20-22, 2010 and Jan 04-07 2011. The Hotel was OK, quite and clean enough for the money paid. The hotel is close to major shopping malls and Baiyoke Sky Hotel where we had dinner twice - buffet for 690 baht per person on the 82nd floor (inside) and 1050 baht (outside at the balcony). However, the surrounding streets were a shock to us - it was real Bangkok with all its flavors and colors! Honestly, first we were scared: the street looked like a chaos with people, tuk-tuks, taxies all bundled up in one mess. It was also very smelly in the area. The stuff is nice and helpful. The hotel's major clients are Indians, therefore, they only vegetarian food. The breakfasts are very simple, not much to eat.

the overall of this hotel is better than what i expected, is worth to stay but the only trouble to this hotel is the location.... the road is only allow one transport to drive in and out..a bit difficult for those van/vehicles...and i need to remind those people, if you have order your own taxi to this place, better ask the driver not to stay too long outside the hotel.. there is someone(taxi driver) seems to look after the whole street...your own taxi driver will get into trouble if he park the vehicle too long over there.. this incident was happenned to myself so i already experience it...

светлый,хороший, ремонтированный отель, чистые, хоть и небольшие номера, хорошо работающая сантехника, кондиционер. Понравились завтраки хоть и вегетарианские(муж любит мясо), но в этом случае был ими очень доволен. Сервис вполне устроил, не понравился только поход в Спа на тайский массаж. Девочка делала грубовато, защемляла кожу, я была разочарована. Так что можно спокойно селиться. рекомендую.Единственное:берите карту на тайском, чтобы таксистам было легче находить

Hard to locate, especially if its your first time in Pratunam market area..its a maze of sorts, set in a tiny soi(alley) amongs other larger sois,but once you ve found it, many st. food dotted outside the hotel, and clothes store, very vibrant..also convenience stores abound and tuk-tuks n cabs. I stay in this hotel twice in April and i find the hotel and the staff very good and helpful and the location was excellent, near shopping centre, walking distance to everywhere but the hotel was in a narrow street and the taxi driver had problems trying to get into the street with all the small shops, although i would stay in that hotel again, its good for its value and reasonable pricing. But i wish it has hot water in the shower as they use and rely on solar heating from the sun. Sydney

Dont forget to print the map of the hotel !!! The hotel is a bit in an alley of a busy road which most of Taxi driver do not know the place. The hotel is quite of the price u pay, polite staff and clean. Not to worry about eating as u can find many kind of foods to choose from small snacks to full meal just a foot away from the hotel. For those who loves shopping, u can only walk 5 minutes to find many stuffs to purchase from clothes, souveniers and many more which is cheaper if you purchase 2 or more. I surely will come back to this hotel in my future trip.

This is a relatively new hotel. Free internet is available at the lobby and the service crew are friendly and helpful. Upon check out, they helped to arrange a cab for us to airport at THB350. When we arrived, we took a meter cab and got conned as the meter is probably tempered with and paid THB 540 instead. Free tut tut is available from 8am-8pm at 30 mins interval to nearby places like platinum mall. However, this hotel is not near BTS station. You would need to either take the free tut tut available to one of the station or walk around 15-20mins.

We were surprised when were refused by staff in getting the booked room upon arrival - as they said there was no room of our type (Superior Studio) available and they would take us to another hotel next street, Grand Watergate, we were shocked as never beed treated like this before. Still not sure if that was the same room we requested planning our stay at Pratunam. Definetely won't stay at Citin Pratunam once again - when you plan your travel long before and booked hotel in advance you expect to get the service in proper way. Hence no room quality can't be done as we didn't get into it.

Great location - although it was hard navigating the alleys at first. Very good Siam Massage was around the corner and the street food was delicious and cheap. Good wholesale shopping right across the street. The hotel itself was new and clean. Linens were white and fresh. Availability of free e-mail was convenient. Vegetarian breakfast was adequate. Service was overall efficient and friendly. I would stay here again - good value and location.

The room was very nice and big enough for the 3 of us. The room and bathroomwas clean. We received everyday bottled water in the room. The staff went out of their way to help and assist. axis do not always know where hotel is but use Indra Regent hotel as reference. We will definately stay here again and will recomend it to our friends

Citin Pratunam is located at the center of the city, it is very convenience for shopping and eating. In addition it is walking distance to Baiyoke sky Hotel for night view. Citin Pratunam's rooms are new, clean and well maintain. The staffs are friendly and nice. The only drawback is the alley is narrow, sometimes cab doesnt want to enter. But it is really covenience to get cab at walking distance right down the corner from the hotel.

The booking service is good, but the hotel selections is a bit limited.But the staff is really helpful and prompt at servicing.

Hotel was good. Staff and service were excellent. No complaints about service especially for a 2-3 star hotel. Feels like you are in Holiday Inn inside but reality sinks in that you are in pratunam when you go outside. Good place if you are after shopping. Street outside is frequented by taxis so no problem if you want to go out even during wee hours. Breakfast gives a new experience to those who are already used to the usual breakfast in thailand hotels since it is vegetarian - healthy option though.

I have stayed at quiet a few hotels in Bangkok. Citin Pratunam is one of the best so far. The design of the building and the service are both very good. The only disadvantage of the hotel is the location which is a bit awkward. On the whole, rteh hotel is very good.

Good location very near to the Platinum shopping take Tuk Tuk around 50Baht. However, the roads around the hotel are always very busy. From hotel to Suvarnabhumi Airport 350 Baht.

The hotel itself was very close to main wholesale shopping galore and the staff was very helpful and extremely friendly. I would stay there again. The only negative comment would be that the breakfast is not what we would call food. No eggs or bacon.

Location is not easily to find for Taxi..so need to stop at baiyoke sky hotel and walk about 10min ..and the room need to have sound proof...In the morning or night...u can hear the chair moveing sound...but overall the hotel still worth the money for the 3 star hotel...

This trip being my first time travelling to Bangkok alone, I chose Citin Pratunam because one review I read elsewhere mentioned security , and I definitely felt very safe here (the key card is needed to get the elevator to work). Perfect location if you re in Bangkok for shopping since it is surrounded by shops selling clothes and shoes! However, the street leading up to the hotel is pretty narrow, so quite tricky for taxis to navigate, better to take tuk-tuks. I had a corner room on the 5th floor which gave me an interesting view of the street, which is lined with hawkers. My major regret is having left in a hurry and forgetting to leave a huge tip, really sorry about that!

New opened hotel in city centre. King size bed is not so big for two european people with infant (I do not recommend to have it for babies with infants)- no cots is avaliable in hotel. Taxi driver have difficulties to find this hotel. Driver should use the exact way which described in hotel taxi card, otherwise you would spent 1 hour in taxi in Pratunam area where you can walk to hotel for 10 minutes from main districts. Cleaning need to be improved- we moved ours beds and find that area which was closed before by beds is very dusty!!! Staff was very friendly. Anyway it is good hotel for short stay.

Hotel is bascially very clean and modern. As this hotel is newly opened, the rooms and lobby seems very neat and clean. We have booked into a superior room. The room is very spacious and comfortable. I will recommend this hotel to people who loves to shop at the pratunam market, fashion mall. As for MBK and Siam Square, it will cost about 60 baht by taxi . But i will recomend that the hotel will provide free transport to more places. Nevertheless, we will defintely stay in this hotel again for our next trip.
