Ideal location to suit early flights at BKK airport, was also only 70baht for a taxi to the On Nut train station in the city centre. Friendly staff who provided professional service and advice for our stay. The rooms were neat and well fitted with good A/C. The restaurant offered a wide choice of good food and drink at good prices. The clean swimming pool provided a nice cool down at the end of the day in bangkok city centre.

酒店离机场挺近的,不过不象有些评论说的走走可以到机场,坐车可能在10-15分钟内,酒店提供免费的到机场的双乘接送(不过一定要在预定的时候确认清楚),房间不大,挺干净,感觉比如家之类的略好,房间没有牙刷,拖鞋,可提供MORNING CALL.第二天要坐酒店班车去机场再坐地铁去市区基本不可能,打车去大皇宫算上高速费300B,和机场直接打去市区差不多.如果要去最近的7-11,感觉要走15-20分钟,而且路上挺荒的,晚上有点吓人.很适合住一天转机的人,或者第二天要赶早班机的人.司机和接机的BOY都很亲切.无线上网要收钱,好象70B半小时.

Очень приятный отель на тихой улочке, в 10-ти минутах езды от аэропорта. Приветливый персонал, уютные номера, бассейн и ресторан. Завтрак не включен в стоимость номера, но зато есть бесплатный трансфер до аэропорта на мини-басе, который заказывают на ресепшене накануне вылета. В 10-ти минутах ходьбы от отеля торговый центр, где можно докупить все, что не успели раньше. Самое подходящее место провести последнюю ночь перед отлетом из БКК.

Good hotel to stop overnight before catching the plane early in the morning. Tips seem to be expected by the driver. The confusion arises when the guests think they had to pay the driver for the ride which is already included in the tariff. A big sign in front of the hotel would be helpful to the taxi drivers.

The hotel was very nice and conveniently located near the airport. The staff was very friendly and gracious when I arrived. My only concern was getting picked up at the airport. I had requested pick up when I made my reservation via internet but when I called 5 hours before my arrival they didn't seem to be aware of my need for a ride and they had my first name correct but not my last name on the sign at the airport.

Genrally location is good ,very close to the airport and has not been affected by the flood.,but the hotel is located in the small alley which is not very safe to go out for nearest convenient store in the evening---my friend has been robbed by the motorcycle gang and it was extremly scary.I think the hotel staff should notice all the guests that.Anyway the hotel staff r very nice. the shower in the room is not working propely.

Das Hotel scheint auf den ersten Blick ok. Leider erschien bei uns das Zimmermädchen nicht, um das Zimmer zu säubern. Am Schwimmbad häuften sich schmutzige Handtücher, Bierdosen-flaschen, für die Leerung der Aschenbecher schien sich auch niemand zuständig zu fühlen. Das Frühstück war miserabel und ist nicht zu empfehlen. Insgesamt muss man sagen, Preis-Leistung ok, aber es gibt bessere Hotels in BKK.

Very quiet hotel, just what I sought for. Bathroom clean, AC quiet and cold, could sit on my balcony without being disturbed by loud noises from motorcycles, cars or streetvendors. room very Clean, fast check in and check out and personnel not like in other hotels harras you with bills to signing for consumptions you ordered while you have discussions with business partners, very polite and friendly. Certainly will check in again next visit. Bangkok 1 hour away by taxi.

Very efficient, however transport at airport did not turn up but not their problem from hotel but bcs time table they received from internet or their agent was 13 hour of scheme. I arrived at afternoon 13.10 Agent informed I would arraive 00.12 at night. Best is to confirm them when you will arrive and dont rely on agents.

Nice recent budget yet cozy hotel. Great view from the room's balcony onto the pool! Decorated with taste. Need a little walking of 5 min.on the main road to find a TescoLotus, McDo s, gas station.. perfect for a stopover but not for a longer stay. Hotel staff was excellent. They made every effort to make up for the booking agency failure. Room was very comfortable, even for a non-budget hotel traveller. Breakfast was not mandatory, but really not that much over-priced for what was offered. Very good selection of Western and Asian.

Hotel looks nice from surface feature. Small room but i was booking in non smoking room and that building look like doesnt has so much customer stay so it was little bit dusty. The maid came to clean my room late that day even i left early. swimming pool is ok but there choose be seat not mattress.Doesnt has breakfast included and also have to pay for internet. Staff were friendly.

Гостиница нужна была на 1 ночь, недалеко от Аэропорта. Останавливались втроем, с 2-летним ребенком. Ехать минут семь. Встретили в аэропорту, довезли, разместили, утром отвезли в аэропорт, все бесплатно, без проблем. Номер был 2410, просторный, чистый, с балконом на улицу. Хороший персонал, хорошее кафе, отличный бассейн. Из минусов - слышно самолеты, хотя после 7-часового перелета спали как убитые...не особо мешало. Интернет (в том числе WiFi) только в местах общего пользования, 100 бат в час.

Had an overnighter in Bangkok and an early flight the next morning so chose this hotel because it was close to the airport. The rooms are modern and clean but if you want a good nights sleep don't stay here. Bed was like sleeping on a concrete floor, the shower head wouldn't stay up so had to shower with one hand. Very very noisy. Room was close to elevator so heard everyone arriving and leaving during the night. Airport transfer was good the next morning but had to wait 20 minutes on arrival which is the last thing you want to do after a long flight.

We had planned to stay here only for a night or two but the staff was so helpful and friendly we decided to come back after staying in two other hotels. The hotel rooms were immaculate and the restaurant downstairs was perfect. We used the tour desk to arrange a private driver for a day. Fabulous service and less expensive than any of the tour operators. I would recommend The Cottage to anyone planning a trip to Bangkok!

Zimmer waren im Vergleich zu den Hotels auf der Rambutri Road (Nähe Khao San - mit dem Taxi bezahlt man ca 300 Baht von dort) wesentlich sauberer und schöner. Personal sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Gratis Flughafentransfer ohne Probleme und rechtzeitig. Durch die Nähe zum Flughafen hört man dauernd die Flugzeuge, aber für eine Nacht vor dem Flug ist das okay. Zimmer mit Durchgangstür sind sehr hellhörig, aber alles in allem war ich positiv überrascht.

由于需要在第二天转机去苏梅，又不想进曼谷城区，最终选择在机场附近找个经济的酒店落个脚，休息一下，这样第二天就可以精神百倍的在查温玩水了。入住这个酒店后，感觉确实与价格水平相匹配，服务很热情，地理位置比想像的要远些，类似天竺核心区到首都机场的距离。房间有些紧凑，卫生说得过去，除了一些蚂蚁在厕所溜达。去了泰国玩，跟小昆虫合居算正常了。但当我们准备睡觉养足精神时，发现外面的噪音简直让人崩溃，趴窗边一看，正处在街边，路上的摩托车声不绝于耳，这可是大老晚上的，没个消停。结果一夜在窗上挣扎熬过，凌晨4点就结账去机场了，曼谷机场怎么也比这里安静啊，尤其进入曼谷航空的专用休息厅，有吃有喝，比酒店舒服多了，要不是机场check in比较晚，我们绝对会留在机场的，省得折腾，花钱买罪受了。如果想住机场周围酒店，一定要说明不要临街。

We stayed for only one day (check-in early and out the same evening of February 26). The hotel was kind enough not to impose an early check-in charge. The hotel is very clean even though the surrounding area was not. I did not try the food but the Mall nearby has ample variety and is 10 mins. walk away. Great place for a good rest before catching a connecting flight. Very helpful staff at the reception but not very organized in arranging the free transportation. After check-in I had requested free transportation to the airport at 7.00 p.m. Was told that it would be arranged. Upon checking at noon was told there would be a van at 5.00 p.m. When I told the person that I wanted to leave at 7.00 p.m. he said that he would change the time. I don't know where he wrote it down because when I checked again at 3.00 p.m., he said that I had not requested for any transportation and that it was too late to do so. Fortunately, there was another person at the reception who said that she would arrange transportation at 7.00 p.m. and she phoned right away to confirm. However, when I checked out at 7.00 p.m. to go to the airport a driver, who claimed that he worked for the hotel, intercepted us at the lobby, where I was saying goodbye and thank you to the staff at the reception desk, and said that he would drive us to the airport in his red Toyota sedan. I had earlier in the day seen a white hotel van take several people and luggage but assumed that the driver chose to use the car bacause there were only two people in my party. When we arrivbed at the airport he demanded 200 baht fare. When I protested he said that he was a private taxi and that he did not work for the hotel but rather was a free lancer with a tour company. 200 baht is not a whole lot of money but it was all I had left in Thai currency. That really spoiled my mood for the rest of my trip. For starters, the car was not a registered taxi and it did not have a taxi meter. Earlier in the morning, when I did take a metered cab to the hotel, it only cost 98 baht plus 50 baht airport surcharge, so he charged me double what it should have cost. During our argument, I asked that he contact the hotel but he refused to do so. Instead, for a non-employee, he gave me the business card of Koon Ohmn who is the Sales Manager of Cottage Hotel. He had a stack of them. I only managed to contact Koon Ohmn after I had checked in for my flight. By that time the driver had fled with 100 baht (renegotiated fare after I threatened to report him). So, travellers, beware of touts and bogus taxis operating right in the lobby. To the hotel, I would say that this person is spoiling your corporate image and he should not be allowed to impersonate as your official driver. I could argue with him in English and Thai and I had a friend with me (a big guy). Imagine what could have happened if he had accosted a more vulnerable guest. Would he have demanded 300 baht? The hotel could perhaps have a signboard informing guests to wait at a particular spot for the real driver to meet them with the van. And, oh, by the way, what did I do with the remainder 100 baht? Well, it was not enough to buy two buns and two Cokes, so I dropped it in a charity box at the airport. Amazing Thailand!

Easy to book and quick to receive confirmation of room. It could be better if, rather than just transmitting special requests to the hotel, that the service also gets a response to the special request and let you know before your arrival.

Noisy rooms!!!Transfer to and from the airport was fine, only a 30 minute wait maximum. Checkin was great, staff very good and spoke excellent English. The room was fine, new, clean, good shower and cable tv. Location is good, there are a number of eating places around there, and a small mall with KFC,Mcdonalds, pizza etc. BUT, and it is a big BUT, the hotel is very very noisy, dont expect to sleep there, every noise comes through, you can hear the elevator all night (my room was the furthest away)people coughing next door, chairs being moved, people using toilets and showers etc. All in all, everything about this place is good, as long as you dont want to sleep.

Nous y avons séjourné notre dernière nuit à Bangkok après un long périple de 3 semaines en Thailande. Hotel agréable et surtout à 15 mn de l aréoport (navette gratuite). Chambre impeccable et calme, petite piscine agréable, et surtout un service exemplaire : aux petits soins pour nous. Pour une nuit de transit nous conseillons car c est un peu loin des lieux à visiter a Bangkok (quoi que nous sommes allés en Taxi à Siam Square pour seulement 200 bath soit 8 euros...).

Contrary on the review (just only the existed one)seen at the time to choose an Hotel nearby Suvarnaboom, I found a humble room, sad in hits walls dark color, with no decoration at all, small and with a small toilet. The TV's also small and, with exception to water, soap and shampoo (in wall dispenser), nothing is complementary (when asked about plastic haircover, the receptionist answered that we can buy it in supermarket nearby ). Hairdryer, but no coffee kettle. The staff is very polite and round trip to airport is offered. The Hotel remains at 10-15 minutes from airport and there is a convenient small drive mall at 10 minuts walking distance. Altougth new and with a small pool, The Cottage is a budget Hotel, rated too expensive (without breakfast even!)compared with similar hotels in the area.
