Queen’s Garden Resort conveniently located just 5 minutes from Suvarnabhumi International Airport, and only 25 minutes get to the city center. All main areas of the town are easily accessible, either by taxi or with the hotel’s own shuttle bus.

The rooms are a little used. The price ok with the ride's to and from BKK Airport. We arrived late so nothing open. Rooms were very warm and it took the A/C an long time to cool the small room off. Good price ok stay for 12 hours.

Efficient. Services are as advertised. Airport shuttle operates as expected, as does everything at the hotel. Restaurant is fine. 7/ 11 in local area, as are plenty of excellent sidewalk restaurants for fast food. River is very pleasant. The only nasty surprise is the 200 baht ( 6 or 7 bucks ) they charge for wifi. Travelers expect to find free Internet access in modern hotels these days. Otherwise great. I d stay there again.

Great little place if you are passing through Bangkok on your way to someplace else, and don't want to drag yourself to the center of town. The river right in front of the hotel is wonderful for just sitting by and watching the incredibly overactive fish. We ate dinner there, in a wooden sitout right on the river, and enjoyed every moment of it. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and quiet, and the restaurant dishes out good Thai food.

I have been many times in Queens Garden and was everytime pleased. The hotel is very close located to the airport and offers for little money a good accomodation for one night. the airport shuttle is alos free ( only five minutes to the terminal) but nearby are no amenities like restaurants etc, just a 7eleven on the corner. But it is possible got get good food and drinks in the hotel restaurant. I recommend this place for a short stay because it wouldn't be easy to find a similar one wiht the same quality and price so close to the airport.

Хороший отель, обслуживание на хорошем уровне. Конечно немного далековато от центра, но я и искал отель поближе к аэропорту. Как плюс могу ещё отметить бесплатный трансфер из отеля в аэропорт. Ну и кормление рыбок в канале это что-то. В общем только плюсы.

Another very good final night stay at the Queens Garden. Please see my other reviews as this is more about the flooding. There are no signs of flooding but there are flood defences in place now with reinforced concrete blocks, flags and sandbags. I stayed in a newer part of the hotel across the road and this is also been reinforced with sandbags with water pumps in operation but this did not hinder my stay. The hotel on the 28th October is running normally as is Suvarnabhumi. 7 eleven up the soi was out of drinking water and basic foodstuffs so make sure you have these with you if you need them but there are snacks and 2 bottles of complimentry drinking water in the room anyway. I always use this hotel as an overnight stop and it is still a good simple hotel for the money. The transfers to and from the airport were as usual faultless and the room suitable for my needs. They seemed to have got away from charging the 150 baht return to the airport now and on my last two stays, transport has been free. This is a good thing and I hope it stays like that.

One of the worse hotel ive been since 2007. cleaning room didnt show the next day and the reason they said is they were busy.. Instead of changing our towel they moved us to the next room.. Restaurant provide bad food and bad service. Will never go there again and it should not rate as 2 and half star hotel. its rather a single half star..

Very clean and quiet hotel. You may get the odd jet flying over but it is not constant. Restaurant is nice and constantly has agood music playing. Hotel is nice and clean and near a nice river/canal where there are tons of catfish. Temple right across the way and down the road there is a 7/11 and a place that serves good duck. Staff very nice and laid back. I would stay here again.

This is still a very good stopover hotel. I have used this hotel before and will always use it as my stopover point when flying through Bangkok. In fact i will be booking it again in October when I return. The room rate is very reasonable. It is simple and clean and the pickup service in the three times I have stayed here has never failed to pick me up and is on the ball. I brought my ear defenders this time around and got good nights sleep but on this trip it was very quiet in and around the hotel - see my comments from 6th November 2010 Overall this is still a good hotel to stay over and offers very good value for money Ian

The hotel was in a good location for just spending the night before an ealry flight out. They do not have an elevator and this was an issue with luggage Although the staff was very helpful in helping out at all times. One thing did frustrate us very much! They have many barking dogs outside the hotel all night long and the bathroom has an open wall that does not allow you to close off the noise. We got absolutely no sleep all night long. As frustrating as this was for one night, had we been staying longer we would have moved. Something needs to be done about this. I would not stay at this hotel again for this one reason.

The hotel is ideal for flight stop-overs but as other reviewers have stated;- not recommended for a long stay holiday. The room is great for the price but this hotel is noisy due to people arriving and departing for the airport at all hours. The hotel staff are very friendly and the hotel pickup service worked without any trouble. I gave this 5 star for location which for me is what I wanted this hotel for;- A place to sleep between flights. It is right on top of the airport. Other than that, there is not alot else here. There is a Wat across the canal which was very noisy when I stayed here. There was some festival going on. There is a Laundry,massage down the soi, a 7 eleven on the corner and a couple of bars. I would stay here again if I was between flights

Had a comfortable stay. Food was very nice and I enjoyed it. Suggestions for improvement: 1. Outside noise levels need to be cut down (Temple bells, dogs barking)2. This the second time I ve stayed there and I stayed for 2 nights. The rooms are great value and very clean! However, this time I had very bad service in Restaurant. There is a young girl that works in there with very bad attitude. I saw some comments about this before about the bar girl. This is probably the same girl. Watch out for her!

We have used this hotel 3-4 times now when arriving at Suvarnabhumi in the evening after flying Etihad from Manchester. They provide a free pick up from the airport and the rooms have always been clean. Breakfast is not included but at this price you can buy it locally. We have the hire car delivered to the hotel on the following morning and take breakfast early on the drive to Isaan.

Good location for an overnighter but too far from Bangkok Central. Mini Cab driver was unable to easily locate hotel coming back from Koh Shan Road. For a 1 night airport stopover very good location , there are just a few restaurants nearby and a temple . If you have the time you can go by taxi (20min , 100Bth) to the Ceacon mall . Pickup service is never at the airport ,you have to go to arrivals opposit exit 4 and find someone who will contact the hotel and than they will pick you up (10min) The “free” airport pick up is one way only , you can book at the hotel the return at 150Bth, by taxi it is 75bath … Hotel staff is not frendly and the prices at the hotel are high , Wifi 200Bth , Thai massage 350 1 Hr , Check out time is 12:00 every hour longer is 100Bth p.h. Room is ok ,looks clean ,beds are ok, TV channels j,ust 5 Englisch spoken.

it's a good basic hotel, near the airport. Nothing amazing, but very convenient. I just thought that too many things that I would expect to be included were not: - transfer to the airport is not included (the transfer from the airport is, but not the way back!) - breakfast is not included - internet is not included the payment system is also quite complicated, and I had to wait for about 30 minutes at the reception just because they had not yet received confirmation of my payment, and would not let me in without it. the girls at the reception were very helpful however, and aranged for things to be as smooth as possible the people at the counter

What an utterly horrible place! I arrived 10 minutes past midnight and the restaurant was closed, no room service available and no restaurants or or food stalls around, everything closed, only a 7/11. Close to the airportand reasonably clean but very ugly and depressing. It is definitly not worth the 700 B. For the airport shuffle bus they ask 150 while the taxi from the airport was only 100.

This hotel was inexpensive and near the Bangkok airport. A Queen's Garden Resort representative was waiting to direct us to the free shuttle to the hotel when we arrived at the airport. It was 10:00pm when we checked in and we left on the very reasonably priced shuttle at 4:00am so we did not see any more of the facility than our room. The room was basic, but clean. Because the air conditioning had been off, it never really got cool enough to sleep in the 5 hours that we were there. We did find it very odd that the bathroom was accessed through the closet and both were open through vents to the outside, thus letting in the hot outside air and the mosquitos. The shower was part of the toilet and sink area like in a boat, but there was hot water. The towels were well worn and seemed recently laundered. After drying we needed to put them on the floor to absorb the shower water that puddled in front of the toilet and sink. We received very prompt assistance when we needed help figuring out how to turn on the shower - we were making it more complicated than it needed to be.

I was staying there for one night and wasn't very happy with the service, firstly I called them in advance to find out about transfer to the Airport, if that was for free, on the phone they said yes but when I was finally there they charged me 150 bth, and at night I had very big cockroach running around in my bathroom, so my night was very short, I could sleep after that, cos it stressed me out so much, it was disgusting

Later after some discussions hotel stuff provide free transfer to the aiport for us. Room is not very cosy, there are many different insects in the bathroom. The airlines mucked up our time in Bangkok and so we didn't have a day as planned rather arriving at 10:30 at night. The hotel pickup service worked and we were quickly at the hotel where there was a speedy checkin. Hungry at 11:30 at night we ate in the restaurant and really enjoyed the excellent food. We received our wakeup call at 5:30 and were ready for the quick trip back to the airport. Other otel as it was convenient and a reasonable price. The little time we were there we appreciated the mattress for our quick sleep. Hopefully we will get the chance to better test the hotel and its facilities. It is good to take advantage of the free one way pick up and I advise the trip to the hotel. The return trip is very reasonable

Surprisingly good! I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Conveniently close to the airport, spotlessly clean, very good food. My only criticisms would be that the ceilings are thin, so that one hears whoever is walking about above one\'s room; and it is also very very hard to find the place within the Terminal building where one can pick up one\'s free shuttle to the hotel.

Needed to have an accommdation for a few hours to catch a midnite flight so I decided to book this hotel. Room is small and looks old. Shower consists of a shower head inside the toilet with no curtain or sliding door as you would normally expect of a shower room. Hot water from a tiny electric water heater so do not expect a long and luxurious shower either before or after a long fligh to avoid disappointment. Staff should go through a training course to understand the real meaning of the Land of the Smile Bell hops expect you to share your fortune with them for carrying your luggage and they do not look happy at all when I tipped them 50 Baht (US$1.50) for carrying a single bag to my room.

We use the hotel as a day-room, which is very good value for the roomrate, compared to day-rooms in Suvarnabhumi Airport, only 10 min. by car. The music videos they play on a mega TV screen / loudspeakers on the restaurants terrace is more for the employees entertainment, rather than for guests. Bell boys are too agressive - before you are aware of it your luggage is already upstairs. Not nice, when you will keep an eye on your belongings. Very effective pich up service upon arrival in the airport

A lovely clean and friendly place, beside a canal. It was right under the flight path for incoming planes. So, if you don't mind the noise of planes coming in till the wee hours of the morning it's a great place to stay, otherwise find another place.

Location: About 10-15 minutes from airport. Right along a canal with plenty of fish and local activity, along with a large wat. Local shops and a 7-11 within very easy walking distance. Food: Restaurant a bit pricey for Thailand, but food acceptable. Good service. Accomodation: Kinda nicey without carpetting. Aircraft noise insignificant. Shower is in the same room with the commode (guard the toilet paper!). Comfy bed, but A/C blows directly onto the bed. Nice selection of TV stations. Beware: Exchange rates were poor; exchange currency elsewhere. Nicety: Two Internet computers in open-air lobby...100 baht/hour, 50 per half hour. 150baht shuttle to airport. Taxi from airport was 200baht. Yes, I d stay here again. Nice Surprise: They let me checkin and get to my room around 11AM.

it's good. Just about 7 minutes drive from the airport. The pick up service from airport is good. The price for the room with single transfer is reasonable. I would like to recommend this hotel for those who just wanted to have few hours sleep before going to domestic flight.

The good: airport pickup was free, quick, and efficient; hotel is about 10 minutes from Suvarnabhumi, staff is the best! The bad: it's loud - street noise, tiled hallways with suitcases rolling and heels clicking, doors closing, and TV's blaring at 5AM.

I find this to be a great little hotel. It's close to the airport and located on a small quiet soi, has clean rooms, efficient staff, and restaurant on premises. Although the menu seemed a bit pricey, there's a 7/11, restaurant, and noodle stand a five minute walk down the soi, although the restaurant was closed in the evening when I was there. The transport to and from the airport was great, easy to find (at the airport), and only ฿150. Internet access is available in the lobby or in your room for a nominal fee. There is a klong in the back with a small beer garden (with paddleboats available from the hotel), and a crossover bridge to a temple for anyone looking to walk around and see some sights. Would definitely stay there again, and recommend it to anyone looking for a short-time inexpensive alternative to traveling into town.

A lovely surprise so near the airport! Tucked away, right on the river, great staff, clean room, restaurant/bar, Internet, and a superb little local market a few steps away inside temple grounds. For the price - cannot be beat for a quick stopover.

I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel, it was on the river, clean rooms only problem it was very noisy, i was on the ground floor and there was a lot of coming and going, people don't respect that someone might be asleep and talk very loudly,so for you that stay in this hotel and talk on the ph etc, think about the others in the room trying to get a nites sleep before there early morning flight.. Food was also quite reasonable, staff very pleasant and couldn't do enough. I would stay again, real value for money. I did see they had another hotel around the corner, don't know what this was like.

Stayed overnight here in March 2009 before boarding an early morning flight out. The room was clean but. basic.The food was good and the beer garden served cold beer. Service was good with an early wake up call from reception to catch shuttle bus to the airport. overall great value accomodation for a budget overnight stay close to the international airport.

very simple and good hotel / good value. Location is near airport, but food and transfer is a bit overpriced. Therefore, go to Ladkrabang street, eat in the Thai restaurants there or take the bus 502 to the skytrain. Then you will have everything. Hotel is amazingly cheap. maybe the cityline from airport to Bangkok will make this hotel even very suitable for visits to Bangkok, as a station of the Cityline (slow airport commuter, between airport and Paya Thai or Makkasan) will be near. Very freindly people in the hotel. I only can recommend this hotel

We stood there for one night because of the different flight. The Hotel is very near to the new airport in Bangkok. They have a shuttle service (150 THB per room per route). The room is practible, but not that for a real holiday-stay in bangkok. For overnight ok. You may hear some noise from landing aircraft. Price for room is very good.

Pretty standard hotel, but clean, affordable, and fairly quiet considering the location. Free shuttle from the airport was especially convenient considering we arrived after midnight into Bangkok. Hotel restaurant has decent food as well. Would stay again.

This was my second stay at Queen's Garden Resort and it was better than my first time. There were no signs of the tiny ants that were in my room the first time. This time I was in the building just a bit away from the main building. It had a nicer bathroom. The room was spotless. Their transfer is excellent even with an arrival at 1 am. If you just need an overnight near the airport, this is the place to stay.
