All the staff are friendly, helpful, and they are always grateful to help me. Room is clean and nice. Love the new renovated room. Breakfast were also good. Really enjoyed our stay here, the hotel is in a perfect location, only a few minutes walk from major shopping centres like Siam Paragon, Central Grand, Mbk etc. Minimart a minutes walk away, fantastic Taxi (Mr Song) who actually use's the meter & lives in same street as hotel. All room are being renovated, no noise there at all, our 2 bedroom apartment had not been renovated so was a few minor faults. Would definately stay here again but in a renovated room.

Our second time at the hotel. We couple + 3 children slept in the family. The room is quite old, it has a living room and 2 bedrooms, shower and kitchen. Assuming you did not intend to spend too much room but only perhaps to rest and sleep at night, he delivers the goods, and gives good value for money. Breakfast is fantastic and rich. We are perfectly pleased with the hotel in total but it was difficult to find it. Our taxidriver couldn't find the hotel even though he stopped and asked someone, so we decided to try and find it on our own. It was not the best beginning carrying a couple of bags in the middle of Bangkok! (You can say First Hotel to the taxidriver because it's just on the opposite side of the big road (into the alley and take left). But we was warmly welcomed when we finally arrived. The food on the hotel is also ok.

Horrible room ever ans worst experience. I stayed at this hotel before in Feb, the room was nice so I decided to book again for my trip in March. But this time I was not lucky like before because they gave me a very old room. At first I didnt accept, but the customer service insists that there was only room available for us for that day so we had no choice and just accepted because we were very tired after long day trip. The room no. 307. It's an old room that has NOT been renovated for ages. The toilet is very dirty and scary. The worst part is there were cockroach in the room and it was flying, then finally fell in to my bowl of soup!!!!!! We complained to the front desk staff, but they couldnt help us any or didnt try to solve problem for us. Nightmare!!! Last time for this hotel.

Hardly any hot water for the bathtub. Parquet flooring needs work. Chipped, broken, loose floor, not good as I have 1 year baby with me. Aircon in living room blows hot air. Overall experience? If you can tolerate all the above, should not be a prob... I, personally will not return to this hotel.

Самое главное преимущество этого отеля в его расположении - буквально в 3 минутах ходьбы от Siam Paragon, более того в 50 шагах от отеля - бесплатный трансфер до Siam Paragon, соответственно до метро. Все крупнейшие торговые центры рядом. В самом отеле все очень просто, завтраки как везде - ничего особенного, но я лично нигде не видела, чтобы в ванной у зеркала не было ни одной розетки, фена тоже нет, т.е. как сушить волосы непонятно. В комнате не было зеркала вообще, розетки болтались, поэтому чтобы посушить волосы надо было проявить чудеса эквилибристики. Про вид из окна промолчу - лучше не выглядывать вообще. В целом то, что вы получаете за эти деньги, себя оправдывает полностью.

Good hotel, no flashy rooms very simple and functional, quite like it. Has a cozy little open air restaurant, fishes in the courtyard corridor. Fantastic breakfast, charges you up for the day, But the best part is its location, the feather in their cap. The TV channels could have been a little better. All in all a comfortable stay. Keep the phone no. handy one might need to call in for directions the 1st time.

This is my second time staying at the Hotel, but with three families this time around.We like this Hotel because of its location and friendly staff. The front desk reception were very attentive and helpful. Checking in was very smooth. Rooms were clean and new for the deluxe type but its a bit pricey. We also booked the Hotel van for two days to bring us around to some attractions in Bangkok and the price was reasonable. Driver skill and service were commendable. The breakfast in the Hotel was fairly good and with choices of western and Thai cuisine. It will be perfect if they can accommodate a swimming pool in the Hotel. Overall i'll recommend this Hotel to friends and i'll definitely come back again.

I have to say that I was shocked after check-in at night. The family suite is horribly poor, old and dirty. Fortunately the night -shift staff felt sorry about it and offered 3 others of the same room type (with one having one lizard on the ceiling in one of the bedroom). The staff was not in the position of changing room type so we stayed at one of the family suite whose a/c works for the 1st sleepless and upset night-- a LOT of noise as a result of the outside dated a/c machines belonging to other rooms that lined up closely to my room. My 1st time to BKK was nearly ruined by the bad expression the hotel had given to me. The manager gave us 2 standard rooms without surcharge was the only relief however we didn't had the luck of the delux room which is the ONLY standard hotel room one would imagine. The location is fine, walking distance to the shopping area when you are not tired and don't want to be stuck in the traffic jam. I wish I had never been to that hotel and had experienced all that during my 1st time in the city!

The hotel is located in a little lane way and taxi's found it difficult to locate. Check in was easy and ran smoothly. Front desk staff welcoming and very friendly. We stay in Residence Rajtaevee whenever we want a good location and good room. The Deluxe Rooms are recently refurbished and very clean and fresh. In room safe. There is wireless internet but at a small charge, but it is paid by the hour so feels not that great if you want to just sit and casual surf. Room service menu is ok and not too expensive if you are stuck in your room. Have not tried any other facilities in the hotel, but there is massage (though a little pricy, a good one exists across the road which is cheap and clean). Location is excellent with not more than 100 metres to Pantip Plaza (Computer Market - which is a good thing to say to a taxi driver), 5 minute walk to Pratunam Market, and 20 minute walk to Siam Square and MBK. /Dan & Myn (Sweden)

We stayed at Rajtaevee three times over April and would agree that staying in a Deluxe/luxury room is the way to go. In the current (April 2009) economic/political climate go for a big discount on the deluxe rates and ignore the slightly shabby standard rooms (the standard family room bathroom wasn't very nice). The hotel is a decent tourist class hotel with good amenities. We booked a standard room for three person and we get a two bed room suite instead. Thank you Residence Rajtaevee ! Location of the hotel is excellent,it takes a good ten minutes walk to the BTS station which will bring you to many locations of Bangkok. There are 7/11 and eateries around the hotel and Pratunam wholesale center is about ten minutes walking distance. The rooms need to be refurbished though the services are above average and the staff are friendly and attentive. Overall, i'll say it's good value for what you pay for and i'll definitely stay in Residence Rajtaevee again when come to Bangkok.

i enjoyed the stay there but there's a slight dissatisfaction with the hotel. My room had a little problem. The air-condition shuts off itself on day 1. So, my friend didnt get a good sleep that night. However, the hotel staff was nice and they changed room for us the next day. another problem is that the hotel doesnt have an electric kettle for us to boil water for coffee/tea. I think that's important to me as i need my java fix every morning. it's quite troublesome for me to go down to the hotel's restaurant to get hot water. the breakfast provided was only so-so. almost the same dish everyday. I wish there would be more variety. other than that, i m quite satisfied with the service of the hotel staff. the best part of the hotel is the location. It's very near the major shopping area like Platinum mall and pratunam market.

First day had a hard time locating the hotel as petchburi road had many small sois... asked around and found the hotel at last.. opposite a high school... 5mins walk away from Pantip Plaza... 10 mins walk away from Platinum and Pratunam Centre.. 10mins walk away from Rajathewi BTS station... 10mins taxi ride to MBK, Siam Paragon... what more can i say? Always stay here when we visit Thailand. Good value for money, off the main road but central to all the Plazza's and has a nice out door bar area. It's quite basic and in need of updating and the restaurant breakfast always luke warm to cold but then it's included in the price so can't complain. The hotel clean but quite old. we ve stayed in superior room whith one extra bed covered by unpropper bedsheet. The other bed very hard. The hotel clean but quite old. 5-10 minutes walks to bts station and if you use taxi the trafic almost jam everyday

Residence Rajtaevee, Petchburi Road My accommodation was big 2 bedrooms suite. Hotel is having renovations done which it does need. But Location, Location, Location is its greatest feature. Spacious bedrooms great bed and soft pillow and comfortable. Just off Petchuri Road in a quiet street it’s a little hard to find so down load in Thai for the taxi drivers, but once you have the Thai address it’s easy. The short walk for the free shuttle to Siam Paragon, which then walk through Siam and Discovery Malls to elevated walkway to MBK. Close to BTS train, Pan Tip Plaza, Platinum Mall and Pratunam shopping area. I will be a guest there again an they make you feel as a guest.

Location is good for shopping, because Hotel is close to Siam and to Santhip Plaza/Platinum Mall. Unfortunately, Hotel rooms are lousy, carpets dirty. Hotels started renovation in 5th floor, which shall be completed after another 3 month, but now you cannot get renovated rooms, although it is mentioned! I will only choose this place again after it is clear that renovation is completed.

rooms: rundown. badly need renovation. BUT 1) spacious 2)bed and pillow soft and comfy 3)quiet street its smacked in a quiet street that drivers would have a wee bit of hard time finding, but once u have the thai address at hand, should be a breeze. And its really 300meters from a free shuttle to Siam Paragon, which is on PloenChit road where all the malls, shopping and events are. Also, its 8mins walk to Ratchathewi station, 10minutes to pratunam shopping area. I d stay there again

the position of the hotel is just great for shopping and any skytrai connection. the hotel is terribly dirty.. stains on the walls, dirty carpets, wallpaper coming off the room doors, rusty and dirty bathrooms. I asked for a better room, but they just made me change florr but the conditions of the room where not much better then the first choise. Personell was trying to be helpful and very polite, but the room conditions where the same. Maybe they have second choise room for internet price. I have stayed in others hotels in Bkk for the same price and same area but even if the hotel was as old as this one or older, it was not so dirty. The pictures on internet are very very nice and give a much better look to the hotel.I will never ever choose this hotel again and of course will not recommend it to anyone.

The location of this hotel is very good as it is close to the center of shopping malls. But the enviroment of this hotel is just so so. The air conditioner makes a loud noise. I think it would be a nice choice for its relatively cheap price and good location.

Fairly good location for a shopping excursion. It was shabbier than I expected, the bellman was quite forward about offering me prostitutes and I got fleas from the bed. Oh, and the breakfast was not worth the effort. Next time I swing through Bangkok I'll try another place.

Great location, very easy access for shopping (Pratunam wholesale, MBK, Siam Paragon etc). Rooms are big (2 bedrooms Suite) but very old and need instant renovation but Staffs are great, very helpful, friendly, polite and 5 star service two thumbs up ( make me forget about the room condition).

Rooms were wuite run down but general facilities were great. staffs - from the bellman to wait staff - are very friendly. location-wise is also very good as theres a 7-11 just outside on the main road. and lots of food hawkers along the road and its within walking distance so very convenient to satisfy your hunger pangs!

Good location, walking distance to shopping street, ie. Platinum, Pratunam, Central World, etc. Consistently good rate during Christmas week at 1000baht which was recommendable. The in house spa was good & reasonably priced. Staffs were warm & helpful, they even helped me to go to the bank to bank in money for my Chao Phraya Cruise. However, the hotel rooms need a complete overhaul. Furnitures & toilet were old, but luckily the bed's comfortable. Be sure to request for a non-smoking room in ur reservation. I'll return for the cheap rate, but with a higher budget, i would try other hotels nearby.
