Sawasdii Bangkok Inn is a HEALTH HAZARD!!!!!! My room was not cleaned for 4 days, tv not working, thousands of insects enveloped the wall's of bathroom when i showerd and untold amount of rattling old Air-Con machines made for an awful stay I left after 4 nights having booked 9 nights I was going to complain but staff seemed completly comfortable with guests leaving early.

The staff were friendly but the room was a bit scary. If you want somewhere just to stay and don't care what it's like then this place is good. Price was ok - could have been cheeper, I wouldn't have payed the same price to stay in the same place in New Zealand without feeling ripped off - so it can't have been a good deal in Bangkok. You have to walk down an ally past large open piles of rubish to get to the hotel.

Nice little hotell in the middle of Bangkok. It was very cheap and the rooms were good. But...the rooms had a bad smell of mould, so you want be staying there for a longer time. The night before we checked out we asked if we could have breakfast served a 1/2 hour earlier because we had a train to catch, and they promised that it wouldn´t be any problem. The day after when we stood there with 2 hungry children there were no breakfast at sight, and the staff were very uninterested to help us, so we were forced to check out with no breakfast! Very bad!

I stayed at this hotel twice one month apart great location but the hotel is rubbish the staff are so rude and couldn't care less we had to change rooms 6 times because the rooms were either so filthy, or things didn't work this was a cheap guest house and now is way overpriced for the lousy facilities it offers. The place is dirty and noisy I would not stay there again

We loved it! It's a low budget hotel.. but really nice. Maybe not the cleanest but no animals with more than four legs. The staff are nice and helpful( the man that served breakfast was a little bit to stiff). The location of the hotel is perfect and Khaosan road is fantastic. We warmely recomend it, if you´re not in to the luxery thaistyle. We even went back on our way home for a couple of extra nights

This hotel was pretty rank - would NOT recommend and very glad we only booked 1 night! The place is very dirty, 1 bed had pubic hairs inside! The bathroom was size of a cupboard with shower over toilet and sink combined. The whole place also smelt of sewage. I d recommend the Four Sons , as cheaper, same standard of hotel but clean!

The staff were very friendly and the room was nice and clean. The staff carried our luggage up the stairs when we arrived. Pat the manager had good conversations with us at meal times and it was so good to speak to someone that could talk such good English. The Hotel was very handy to all the markets and it was quiet at night so we could get our sleep.

Excellent and no mistakes. We decided to go home 2 days early this is why we did not come back for the last 2 days. Thank you for your help, we enjoyed our stay in Thailand but it is good to be back home in Australia.

My room was clean and adequate, although I felt it over-priced. The travel-agent in this hotel over-charged me substantially for a trip I booked there and this somewhat tarnished my view of the place. I would always advise travellers to shop around - sounds like common sense but I guess you think an agent attached to a hotel will give you the best price and not the worst.

Hotel location is perfectly in the center of the city and where the action is, no noise during the night (just off the main street). Building is old, need (heavy) maintenance, rooms are (very) basic, but ideal for (low) budget travellers. Bed was clean, a/c working and shower ok. Rooms are small, only to be used for sleeping...Breakfast (included) was perfect every day, cleaning service only on request(!)

Hotel was brilliant for the money. Its not a luxury hotel but ideal for me and my mates who are backpacking on a budget. Right on the Khaosan road its in an ideal location, however its down an alley which makes it nice and quiet. Rooms were clean and tidy. Bathroom was good - shower could have been better tho. The girl on the excursion desk was very helpful and all the staff were very friendly. One nice bonus was the free use of the safety deposit box in reception. The food and bar are excellent and the internet cafe is great value for money. Ten out of ten for this place

It's the most dirty hotel I have ever seen. My room was very dirty. The stuff explained that tourists checked out late and they didn't have time to clean my room. I had to suffer stink in my room, because the rooms can be cleaned if you ask in advance before 1 pm. I arrived to the hotel at 3 pm. Bedding was dirty as well. Towels were white long time ago. Now they are grey and with holes there. There are much better hotels in Banglampoo area.
