The rooms are actually decent for the price range. That is all the nice things I have to say about this place. I have stayed here twice and each time for only a night. The second time confirmed that they have some of the rudest staff anywhere in Thailand. Especially front desk,the man that books the hotel taxi service was quite rude-too bad I speak Thai and understood him. We made a point to walk to the end of the soi to eat and not give any further money to this hotel. There are literally dozens of better options just a walk or 50 baht cab ride away. I do not recommend this place.

Standard hotel at a great price. Good location, in 2 min. walk to 7/11 and street cafes. Staff isn't frendly. There are always 4-5 staff members at the reception, but nobody greet you and even smile to you when you came to one of them. Breakfast is average: juice, tea/coffee, 2 fried eggs and soya sausage. Overall it's a good choice to spend a short period of time between flights, taking into account that round trip transfer from Suvarnabhumi airport usually included in the price. But if you are planning to stay in Bangkok more than one day, it's better to choose another hotel.

Отличный отель для транзита. Останавливались в нем перед поездкой на ко чанг. Регулярный трансфер в аэропорт, ехать 10-15 минут. В номере все необходимое есть. Мы жили в одноэтажном корпусе- основной минус отсутствие звукоизоляции. Но так как в этом корпусе мы были одни и спали одну ночь , то можно перетерпеть. Завтрак для одного дня сойдет. Рядом есть вечерний рынок, много кафе с дешевыми ценами. На обр пути решили тоже там остановиться.

For the price, a good hotel for an overnight layover near the airport. I had a non-smoking room in the small hotel annex, which was very pleasant. The only minus was the restaurant. The chef/cook and menu should be replaced! No choice on breakfast:you get the standard plate. An evening meal was awful! Free Wi-Fi a plus!Considering the price, I would stay again.

Dear all at Sawaddee.com and the world. I have stayed at Thong Ta Resort and Spa more than a dozen times over the past year, my wife and i liked it very much for many reasons, which i have writen about before, but now it is time to move on.. The reasons being so many and i will mention them all. Firstly as the hotel is expanding they seem to have built a new long wall that runs the whole length of the soi and makes it extremely difficult for me to now to negotiate moving to the various cafes and shops. The staff seem to be very non caring now at the reception are and only one or two may speak english and if they are not there ..well bad luck..even when you call direct the phone goes from person to person at lease 3-4 before someone speaks english and you just keep repeating yourself( and i speak Thai as well). Next we have had many things stolen, not from the room ,as we are in the room every time it is cleaned, but when left at reception. Last december my wife and i travel from Phuket to Bangkok many times duing the year. This time we bought and left many things with reception to be picked up several hours later by a friend , who is a taxi driver, but when he picked the parcel up itb vwas almost empty of food delicacies brought from Phuket. Well , when i stayed at the hotel just a week ago in early April and reported all this to various english speaking staff , they questioned me as if i had stolen my own things. I stayed 3 days and not once wasi offered an apology or anything else , whicvh brings me back to the fact that many things have changed and it all seems to be with the front line staff , not anyone else. I will not ever be staying at the Thong Ta again...

Хороший транзитный отель. До аэропорта ехать минут 20, каждые пол-часа ходит бесплатный шатл-басс.Расположен тоже хорошо,очень близко ночной базар,естьгде поесть и купить фрукты. Один минус - завтрак плохой, но это не смертельно с учётом все остальных удобств.

Mini bus waiting at airport arrivals and 10 minutes later checking in - excellent. 5th floor but no lift - that was a shame. On the other hand, we sat on the balcony and no mosquitoes that high up.

Останавливались в отеле на ночь. В аэропорту встретили без проблем у выхода N4 (персонал аэропорта по трансферту покажет, где выход, если не знаете английского). Через 10-15 минут были в отеле. За 850 бат все просто отлично, тем более есть с чем сравнивать. Перед полетом ночевали в г. Артеме (Владивосток) за 2200 рублей плюс такси 400р и в худших условиях. Номер в гостинице Бангкока соответствует описанию на сайте и в отзывах. Просторный, чистый, есть все необходимое и все работает. Очень рекомендем.

The hotel staff are pleasant and higher standard compared with other 3 stars hotels in Bangkok. The room itself is fine, but bed sheet, towel, pillows are very old, it's time to change !!! Management should put this into their mind, while employees are working hard, sincerely and helpfully, every room has the towel fold in many created styles eg. flower, elephant, fish, squid etc.... So hotel owner, management please consider about this, you have great staff already compared with other hotel in the same rate in Bangkok !

My wife and i have stayed at bThong ta many times and will again in December . We find it a very pleasent place to stay and very convenient. The staff are always helpfull. The only complaint is that there is now no internet facility which i was shocked about as they had a computer before. Also a short walk away down the soi ,there is a new food center that has opened up.

Have Met in aeroport, in the morning early us had a flight on Samui, have taken in aeroport. All clearly, without delays - a road with aeroport and in aeroport is already comprised of cost of the room. Near by hotel shops, the small cafe - very suitable accomodation calve. If shall be a transit in Bangkok, shall without fall stop in this calve. Want to recommend its as comparatively inexpensive hotel, residing from aeroport not far, having modern design.

we got the room that was next to the restaurant where they sing until 2am, can't sleep all night because of the music, asked to change the room and they said, they don't have any room available, so we asked to get just the mattress to sleep on the floor away from the wall where you can hea the loud music, they want extra 300 baht, even though we told them we could not sleep because of the loud music, we will never stay here again, bad customer service,they told us everyone can sleep with the loud music and they never have any complained, we will never stay here again.

I was very happy to stay at this resort. It takes about 10-15 min drive from the airport. The airport pick-up and drop-off service are great. There are resort staffs stand by at the airport 24 hr. Therefore, you just need to find their sign and follow them. It is very worth for money. Room is big. However, air-con is very noisy. Bathroom is a bit small. Well, it is very suitable for someone who wants find a room near the airport.

Efficient. Wake up call, make sure you make it to airport for your flight. The shuttle is a plus, plus, plus. Only a few minutes from airport. No elevator though, but hotel provide personnel to carry your luggage to your room. Room is clean and comfortable. Recommend for those with early flights.

the room was great, and very neat and clean. being close to the airport was the best part, as we needed to be at the airport very early in the morning. the shuttle service was really helpful. had a closeby 7-11, which was helpful too. overall an ok experience. only thing is I was promised a breakfast package which I needed very early in the morning. but the hotel staff informed me that it is not possible, and I should inform siameservices about this. this was a bit disappointing.

Det här hotellet har jag använt många gånger som ett perfekt övernattningshotell efter en lång resa. Kryssa för att du vill ha pickup service från flygplatsen och de fixar det gratis. De fixar även returen gratis till flygplatsen. Ankommande landar på plan 2. De väntar på dig vid utgång 4. Hotellet har gratis Internet om man har egen laptop. För att roa dig medan du är där, ta dig till stora vägen som är vid hotellet. Gå till höger fram till uppförsbacken/bron. Till höger om den har du en trevlig marknad med billig mat. Förra året när jag var här, fick man gå över bron, och då låg den på vänster sida. Promenaden tar nog knappast mer än fem minuter. Vill du bara äta, finns billig mat precis vid stora vägen också. Frukosten på hotellet är i enklaste laget och inget att hurra för, men annars har man ju alternativen vid vägen som det bara tar maximalt två minuter att promenera till. Mot bakgrund av att hotellet är rent, fräscht, att det hämtar och lämnar gratis vid flygplatsen, att det ingår frukost och internet, är hotellet mycket prisvärt.

We stayed here for one night only between flights from BKK to Samui. Transfer and breakfast are included, which is a great bonus. We arrived late and van was waiting! This hotel is exactly what you need for overnight or short stay. Nothing fancy but clean and comfortable. Staff meet you airport and drop you back. A small eating market at the entrance to the hotel and shops located to the left of the hotel. If you have more time walk to the main road turn right cross the main road and head towards a bridge. just to the right of the bridge youll find a night market which is new and sells a variety of things.

My wife and i have stayed in the Lard Krabung area a few times. Our stay at Thong Ta resort was very enjoyable. This time we stayes 3 days and got a feel for the area. Only on thing ,all the staff was friendly except the lady in the dining room , she always had a long face and was not very friendly, however i have recomended this resort to my friend already and have some brochures that i will pass on to my friends and i will be back again. One last thing, i feel the pick up at the airport could have been quicker as they knew about our booking for over 1 month , yet we had to wait about 40 minutes..

Hotel deserves it's 8+ rating. Staff helpful,luggage delivered to room, breakfast good, room was light,spacious, clean and well presented. Only one down side - there is no lift to the upper floors and not suitable for those unable to cope with stairs. Within walking distance of the hotel are convenience stores, cafes and even a small bar with live music.. We would stay there again and happy to recommend this hotel to other travellers.

I booked through siameservices.com for March 30 but due to flooding in the South were not able to leave Koh Tao. Since I had no way to call I asked a lady with a cell phone to call and change the reservation to Mar.31. She mistakenly changed it to Apr. 1. When we arrived at Thong Ta they had no record of the call. After much discussion they finally gave us a room but charged us full rate. I was not impressed. We were unable to contact our airline yet they still found us a flight home and Thai Airways charged us NOTHING for the change. Air Canada charged us very little for the flight to Toronto. Since our inability to get to Bangkok was totally out of our control, I would have thought the Thong Ta could have honored our reservation and not charged us again for the room. The staff at the hotel was very helpful with other requests but I was NOT impressed with having to pay double for the room especially after I PAID someone to call them during a natural disaster. The people in Koh Tao were very helpful despite the fact that THEY were dealing with so much. The airlines were very good to us. Thong Ta had the least to lose yet they were the LEAST sympathetic.

Well the internet still did not work.So I went to the lobby to use the pay computers to book a flight.The computer was dated for 2002 so could not make a booking so told the staff and they all laughed again they are the dumbiest people I have ever had to deal with in Asia.When I went to leave to go find a internet cafe they asked for the money for the use of the computers and I told them to piss of they did not work so I was not paying thats when they got aggresive with me and I got aggressive with them they told me they would not drive me back to the airport if I did not pay.When I showed up in the morning for the shuttle they never said a word just put there heads down and pretended they did not see me so on the shuttle I went.Like I said last time the hotel in nice but very loud but the staff is useless the worst I have seen and there does not seem to be anybody in charge.

The hotel is very great and ideal for tourist because the staff can speak English. Staff and receptionist are very approachable and friendly. In terms of affordability. The price for check-in is worth paying and affordable.

It's a pretty good choice if you need to stay near the airport. I stayed in 1st floor in the new building, and I slept well. Near the resort, you can find a food night bazaar and 7-11. It's very convient.

The room is ok, but the service and staff attitude is so bad.We asked for the low floor for my old parents when we checked out on 1st day here(Jan27),and their staff confirmed to me at that moment.But when we checked in on Feb4, the staff said no low floor is available now.They don't check what's their own problem.They strongly asked me to accept without any choice. We took their free roundtrip from/to airport.But when I went to take my luggage which reserved there when i checked out,their staff told me i have to pay extra charge THB150 as the free roundtrip ONLY one room one time.The lady was very rude,she said if i didn't agree to pay, i couldn't take their car to airport.As we all know why we choose this hotel is the location which is closer to airport and they provide the transportation. We are all disappointed about their service level and attitude.

Compared to 2 years ago, the hotel has increased its facilities(ie free wifi even in the room). It is a very good choice for people who intend to take early morning flight, or arriving very late.

Good hotel, nearby the airport. only 5/10minutes drive. We had a pick-up service,after 20minuntes we found them. We have friends in BKK, and they called the hotel, at that moment we where stretching our legs outside the door. The hotel did nt told us they called.

I stay here every time I arrive or depart from Suvarnabhumi airport. Everything was clean and worked well. The staff is helpful and polite. The airport shuttle was prompt as usual and it only takes 5-10 minutes either way. Breakfast is very basic, but it fills the hole. I highly recommend this hotel for a clean, budget stay near the airport.

The guys at the customer service or counter are not so nice. They are rude and unkind. The driver was angry at me and the guy at the counter. I wanted to go to the Siam Paragon and the lady advised me to take a airport shuttle and catch the high speed train to go to the city. But when I came back to the Hotel from the city to pick up my luggage to go to the airport. The guys and driviers was asking me money. Why I was not told before and why make me insult when I was supposed to leave for the airport? This is not a professionalism. I expected ride to the airport and from airport to the hotel was complementary at the curtsy of the hotel. The guys were telling me only two times were allowed. But the girl and the guys at the counter at the time of going to city they did not tell me about the cost involved when going to airport to catch the high speed train from Airport to the city. I advice Hotel owner to make this airport - Hotel - Airport transportation complementary regardless of how many times for your hotel's image and customer attraction. Take care.

I highly recommend staying at the Thong Ta Resort and Spa. I slept there very well on wonderfully soft sheets. I had a Thai massage that was sorely needed after long hours of travel. The staff were all very polite and friendly. I enjoyed shopping in the gift shop and eating in the restaurant. It was very pleasant to stay at such a nice place only a few minutes from the airport when we came in after midnight and were met by staff there.

Reservation service:
The booking went fine; the only problem was that we came in after midnight, so I booked for the night of January 3. However, in the Thai system or the system that this hotel uses, it was considered a January 4 booking, so they weren't expecting me at the airport... they thought I had been a no-show the night before. This might be made more clear on the booking site so that this kind of confusion doesn't occur again. A simple note is all that is needed.

Hotel was very near airport with coach transfer with efficient time and service. Check-in was a breeze as front desk staff was fluent in English. Noticed that cleaning staff was not local and lacking that Thai smile. Hope they greet the guests with a smile instead of a blank stare.Maybe more training should be provided. Wi-Fi in the room was great boost.
