My third stay at the Star staff as always helpful, room and holel clean and tidy and the breakfast was OK.If I have a couple of observastions, in theses days of mobile communications there should be a couple of sockets in the room to charge laptops and phones, also I think wifi should be part of the package these days. And watch out the tea and coffee in the room arn't free.

BUT the only down fall is this hotel really needs to focus on better cleaning in the small areas, and every room and all the hallways need to be steamed clean asap. Maybe a new manager would help fix this problem. But overall a good place to stay and breakfast was good too.

Fantastic location and friendly staff, that's were it ended. We are budget travelers and have toured all over asia and usually stay in 3 to 3.5 star hotels and the star hotel claims to be 3.5 but i would not rate it 1.5. The carpets were not vacumed for the 5 nights we were there, they only wiped over things and did not clean them. The carpets were putride and the paintwork in the room had not been done for years, the decore was about 30 years old and in need of a good paint. Breakfast was very ordinary and did not change the whole time we were there, you could have eggs anyway you like as long as they were fried and the pork sausages were alwasy luke warm and never hot. No varitey at all and the breakfast staff would look the other way if you tried to get their attention. Overall i could not recomend this place at all other than its great location.

Room service was average. Counter service was excellent. Most could speak English. Very helpful. Room condition was average. Good enough for sleeping though it's recommended that you keep your slippers on as the carpet is rather dirty. Slightly noisy at night as it is near the bazaar. No bathtub. Only standing shower for all types of room. Superior room was spacious enough for a family of 3. Huge bed as it's a combination of 2 super single beds. Not comfortable for the middle sleeper as the distance between the 2 beds can be felt. Water heater wasn't fantastic. You have to ensure consistency of heat before showering. No connecting/adjacent rooms. As it is located on a small road, you have to walk a short distance to get a taxi. Restaurant was lousy. Breakfast was always sunshine eggs/sausage/bread/butter/jam/fruits or their boiled rice = porridge. Lunch

Old hotel in need of a good coat of paint! Staff were friendly. Internet was free for 20 minutes. Tea/Coffee in room is charged at B50 but if you go to the lobby you can have it for free. When booking tours check the price outside and negociate with the hotel tour company for best deal. The tour we went on to the highest peak was below our expection. The hotel is a short walk to night markets, be sure to get a map or check where you are going as you can get a little lost finding your way back. Overall you get what you pay for. We would probably spend a little more and try some place else next time.

Location near the night bazar and rooms were OK. The ABF was not superior but certainly good for the price you pay. Staff friendly and correct. ONLY: There is NO pool and that is not mentioned in the add. You can swim but then you have to go to the Suriwongse hotel on the other side of the road.

Stayed again at this pleasant hotel which has easy access to Night Bizzare and other local attractions, Rooms are clean and staff friendly. The only downside is the internet servive 220Bt per hour 200Bt an hour if you have own laptop. Local internet cafes charge 30Bt an hour.So the hotels rates are excessive. overall will stay again.

Excellent location, near the night bazaar. Though the lobby is a bit dingy looking, we found the room to be bright, clean, with good sheets and pillows and a great shower (we were upgraded for free though). Room had cable TV, mini-fridge, hot water kettle. The staff was nice enough, but when wanting to extend our stay, was not willing to give us the same price as SiameServices. Would recommend this for anyone looking for a reasonable price for a very central location.

The Deluxe Room is very spacious and clean. Loved the see-through glass panel with venetian blinds between the bedroom/bathroom - something very unique. Only wished there are more lightings especially at the study table & sofa areas. Other than that, everything was great. Loved the bathrobes/bedroom sandals and kettle jug ... we can enjoy drinking coffee in our own room. Location is great, just 5 mins to the night bazaar, shops, massage. Service is good too. Nice hotel,Value for money, Rooms were spacious and clean. Breakfast was good. The bath area was a bit small but would bother only heavyly built people. Cable TV had limited No of channels but who would come here to watch TV! Receptionist were friendly and helpful. Night market was just a 2 minute walk away and very convenient. Lots of cheap eateries and motor cycle rentals nearby. For use of swimming pool we were guided to a nearby hotel (same group) 2-3 blocks away,just a 1 minute walk.

However, the hotel were extremely kind and put us into the Surawongse Hotel instead. I have no complaints whatsoever and have no doubt recomending this hotel. Staff fairly friendly but don't go out of their way. Rooms were spotless and comfortable with a very effective air conditioner and huge bed and balcony. The hotel is in a good location, near a small shopping complex with starbucks (hooray!) and a great massage parlour (called Let's Relax - I think?). This hotel have an excellent laundry service (a bit pricey, but worth it).
