the reception there were so helpful and absolutely wonderful...they made the stay so pleasant! the apartment was beautiful, modern and spacious, with good closet space and good bathrooms (important since we were a group of 4 girls!)the only thing was that there were not enough utensils in the kitchen to cook with for 4 but this didnt really matter as eating out in thailand is so cheap anyway...i really recommend this hotel for anyone who is having a longer stay in chiangmai! ther location was also great about a 10 minute walk from the night markets and lots of bars!

The Studio99 apartments are the best accommodation we have ever stayed at in Thailand. The apartment was well furnished, very comfortable and the service was excellent and staff very welcoming. Whilst its location could be seen as a little out of the way, the peace and quiet was serene. It was an easy walk to Old City and to Night Bazaar precinct. Would highly recommend this place to any traveller staying in Chiang Mai whether for business or travel holidays.

At Studio99 the rooms were exceptionally comfortable and well equipped and incredibly spacious (Think hotel suite!) There is a separate living room with TV and DVD player there was also a well equipped kitchenette with cooking facilities. I believe this property is 2 years old but everything was impeccably clean and modern. Staff were very personable, helpful and genuinely friendly. Location was perfect, situated in a quiet lane just off the main road but still close to everything and the Night Bazaar was under 5 minutes walk. We stayed in some nice hotels during our stay in Thailand but Studio99 definitely was the best in terms of comfort, value for money and location. We can not fault this place.

The apartment I stayed in was bright, lovely and clean. I really liked it. The staff were friendly and nice. The only thing I didn't like was the location. It's situated in a very narrow alley that most cars can't go through.. so I had to drag my stuff all the way from the main street every time I went shopping.

Very clean hotel,beautiful staff.Transfer from airport waiting for us.We stayed in the bottom unit no.1 we had a little court yard with table and chairs.Very close to night markets day markets very central to everything.I wish i had stayed longer. Very nice rooms and comfortable. Very accomodating, friendly and helpful staff. They gave me help on directions and good places to go. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable stay in Chiang Mai. (They even let me check out very late 6pm...but there was some miscommunication to me between staff members about whether this would cost extra or not - 300 baht) Regardless, my stay was better than I expected and much nicer than a hotel.

My husband, mother-in-law & 2 yo son all stayed in a 2BR apartment. We were impressed by the clean well kept rooms. The living area and bedrooms were spacious. Service was good by staff. It is located very close to Chiang Mai night bazzar and there are lots of restaurants, internet, laundry and other services nearby. We were able to prepare some of our own meals if we wanted to. I would recommend this for families and others looking for a quiet, well located, clean place to stay.

Did take a bit of finding as it was off the main street but was only 10 minutes walk to Thapae Gate. Overall great location to stay in Chiang Mai.

Studio 99 is a very nice place to satay, it is a few minutes walk from the walking place / night market at chang klang. The apartment are very clean and tidy. We booked for 4 days and stay on the main floor, where there is a very nice patio. We enjoyd it very much. We will stay again when we visit Chiang Mai again!!

Stayed at Studio99 in a 1 bedroom unit with lounge and kitchen. This place is bright spacious and modern. The apartment itself was spotlessly clean with crisp white bed linen. The Night Bazaar is under 5 minutes walk away great location but still very peaceful. As well as the great apartment I found the staff genuinely friendly courteous and helpful. The large balcony at the front was a winner as with so many hotels balconies are not available but this had two. Normally in a hotel, this size and quality of accommodation would be classed as a suite and you will have to pay an arm and a leg for it but this is absolutely excellent value considering what you get. I was worried about a previous review of thin curtains as I do like to sleep well into the morning but the bedroom had thick lined curtains. This place was outstanding and I would recommend it to anyone. I am a regular visitor to Chiang Mai and I will definitely be back to Studio99.

Stayed 3 days mid March 2008. The property is brand new, wood floors and bendy metal furniture; not a million miles away from IKEA. Both rooms are large with high ceilings, modern air con and balconies at either end. Although difficult to find in a maze of small streets, the central location should appeal to tourists keen to sample CM's special character. The only criticism is that with thin (almost translucent) blinds and brilliant white walls, the room never got dark enough in the daytime to allow me to counter my jet lag. Nonetheless a good place, good staff and I d go again.
