Accommodation and facilities:
Stayed for three nights, big room with balcony, nice decoration, mainly clean but a bit of mold on the shower curtain and the small, empty pool on the roof top level looked not really inviting. The sign saying that the pool is under maintenance might be there since years. But nevertheless - I would stay there again because of the room and the service.

+ : The hotel is hotel located, 10 minutes walk from the beach, near the main street where the restaurants. -: Not much choice at breakfast, if you are not hard, that's enough. Small pool on the roof, it's impossible for an adult to swim in, only my two children aged 2 and 3 years were able to swim through against dirty water and stench. Service quality of the hotel is against bad. At check-out, they wanted to charge us a beer and a water mini-bar, water ok even if we re not sure but Beer probably not, neither my husband or I drink, and they are certainly not my two children aged 3 and 2 years who consumed ... They insisted that a beer from the mini bar is missing and I insisted that probably no. So after 15 minutes of waiting, they call manager etc., beer was not counted. Then ordered a taxi the day before departure, the host said ok, and the D-Day, no one ... So they asked one of their driver, who drives for transfer between town center and hotel, drop us off at the location requested (10 minutes drive from the hotel) and this one, has lost and WE helped him to find the place and he cheated on us for the price...0 for the service

I booked upto 15th June, but actually checked out on 14th at 4pm because of my flight time being at midnight. Anyway, overall we like the hotel Citin Loft, but a couple of very important issues I like you to improve. 1. the breakfast, why it is same everyday? We stayed for 8days and got so bored with the same thing every morning.It is ok for those who stay for couple of days. 2. When I booked I was told you have a restaurant, so I presumed I would get lunch/dinner if I wanted as my husband has limited mobility it was not possible for us to go out in the evening even if we wanted to, but when we arrived at 7.45pm in the evening after a long flight and long journey and to our dismay told by the young lady at the reception that hotel only serves breakfast, I just did not know what to do!Wish I knew that before booking. Though it did not ruin our holiday, but definitely, with a disable husband, I had to go out and get food in the evening, which is the last thing one expect during holiday. Overall staff are good, room large and nice. Very much disappointed as all they want is grabbing the money,lack of lunch/dinner facilities should have been explained before booking.

The hotel was not bad, the room was average but clean, the breakfast was average but acceptable and the location was good being right on the beach and in walking distance from a couple of restaurants.

I would like to say that in general the hotel is really first class and the staff very helpful and friendly.. It is very well situated for shops,restaurants and beach..There is another beach within 15 mins taxi drive which i would recommend as it is nicer for walks and less populated,,and right beside a golf course.. My only complaints are firstly where the kingsized bed is excellent,,there are sharp edges on the corner ends which both my wife and myself had nasty cuts when we brushed into them..This can be easily fixed by putting rounded plastic covers around them.. The breakfast in the hotel where quite reasonable ,could be improved by an additional choice of serial,,boiled eggs could be added,as the fried eggs tend to be only luke warm..another toaster could be added to prevent waiting while others were doing their toasts..and another choice of pure juice beside orange juice would help.I believe this would encourage more people to have breakfast in the hotel instead of going outside to resturants who provide other options.. The question,yes i would definitely go back to this Hotel in the hope, these minor improvements were taken seriously..Many thanks to the hotel and all of the staff for making this,my first visit to Thailand a really memorable occasion.. On arrival they seemed not to have our reservation. After letting us wait 15 minutes they found it but gave us a room wich was not in the main building but 100 metres further at the very very busy road. All rooms without a view, no internet and no swimming pool. We did not know they had this other building at this busy road (their website does not mention this) so we asked for a room in the main building and........they gave it to us at least. Room was very nice, big and cool. Staff was friendly.

This was the third time we stayed at Royal Asia Lodge Hua Hin. Although the hotel is in the city it is situated in a quiet area. Good service, very clean and very friendly staff. Breakfast was good. We can recommend this hotel.

We book the wing room of Royal Asia. It locates in the other sides of the main street. The room is clean, well-mainteened. But you have to clim a very narrow steps to your room, and make sure your room is not facing the main road, otherwise the noise of the motobike will wake up you in the early morning. We also can use the wireless internet and swimming pool in main building. The staff is nice.

Room was adequate, very clean and good air conditioning system. Downside of being in the west wing is that you are separated from the main hotel. Have to cross a busy main road to get to your room, telephone was not working in the room so you were unable to call reception if you needed anything urgently and the shower had no hot water. Room was situated at the front of the building and being on the main road traffic noise was as an issue.

This was our second visit to Royal Asia Lodge and we were just as pleased with our stay as before. The hotel is situated in a quiet part of the town but not so far away from the shops and the beach. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The rooms are kept clean and tidy. When we are in Hua Hin next time we would not hesitate to book at this hotel again.

Super hotel in a central spot. Rooms are exactly like the photo s. Huge well equipped & spotlessly clean. Breakfast ok typical for the country but at the bottom of the soi on the right there is a little bar that does a full english breakfast at a realistic price. The staff are great nothing is to much trouble for them, always friendly with a huge smile on there faces. Pool area is sectioned into 2 areas one as a terrace the other is were the pool is ( both on the roof) The pool is only small but lovely when you been out in the heat shopping. Overall a very enjoyable stay.

Not very good at all. We were put in the annex building which is right on the main road, making it noisy from quite early on. The hot water (shower; no bathtub) wasn't working. There is no service at the annex whatsoever. On the last day the (electronic) keys weren't working which took a long time to sort out...

I stayed for 3 nights at court wing which was actually different building than the main building. I had to across the street to get to the room. The phone wasn't working, so it's more like middle of nowhere. In order to speak to the hotel, you gotta go to the main building, which wasn't fun. The staff was pretty bad, saying everything is because you booked a cheap one . I found that there are many guest houses around which is pretty good and cheap. You can get a better place to stay with good breakfast as well. This room didn't include a breakfast.

An absolutly wonderful place to stay. Certre of town but quiet. Breakfasts are good, and while the pool on roof is small there is a large area to lounge either in the sun or shade. Our stay was three weeks and shall be much longer next year, Royal Asia, of course. Both my wife Van and I found it most difficult to leave. Excellent management by the way , cleaning staff exemplary, all in all a most friendly place.

We stayed in the Court Wing which was a really good choice for us. Room was small, but very clean and new (3 months old). There was also a little balcony and a huge fridge in the room. Even though we stayed in the Court Wing we had access to the pool in the Main Wing. The Court Wing was good situated, and all main attractions like nightmarket, beach, Market Village and restaurants were close. We would highly recommend Court Wing on budget travellers! The only bad thing to comment on is that an mp3 –player mysteriously disappeared from our room when we were out. We are 100% sure that player was in our room when we left, and when we came back it wasn’t there. There weren’t any other people in our room but us. We contacted reception immediately, but the staff did absolutely nothing. The attitude of the receptionist was strange, and we would really have appreciated of just saying “sorry” or been more helpful to solve the problem. It really seemed to us that customer service is not so big deal to them; even it should be number one. The whole vacation and hotel would have been just perfect without this incident. This incident made us think that even our clothes should have been in the safe. Vacation would have been great pleasure, but now the taste of the hotel was more than bad.

the rooms are big enough, also the bathroom.only the aircondition is to strong, lowest level is still to much! the breakfast is not very well and the hotel is located in middle of typical poor thai house villages, but for us this wasn't any problem. the location is far away from the beach, have to cross the main street with a lot of traffic first. we will not come back, next time will book a hotel nearer to the beach and a little more expensive.

Great hotel, rooms were lovely and clean. Very close to all amenities. Would recommend this hotel. Food in the hotel is limited- but you are close to everything so not really a concern.On another note -just be warned the tailors on the street to the front of the hotel can get very annoying and will persist on trying to get you in their store each time you pass- rewgardless of how many tiumes you tell them you arent interested!

Nice hotel with good location in Hua Hin. Rather close to beach (15 min. walk) and night market. The staff did it's best to make you feel at home. Staying in this hotel is very close to being at home. Since we were traveling with small children we would preferred a location closer to the beach and a childrens pool, but considering the price, the exeptionally big rooms and the good service it was worth every bath!

Great hotel with a good atmosphere. Very nice and helpfull staff. Our room was large and clean as the rest of the hotel. The swimmingpool and the sundeck is rather small and not much to talk about, located on top of the hotel it has however a nice view. I have only one bad thing to comment on, the breakfast it could be better, much better. The location of the hotel is very good, just in the outskirts of Hua Hin center yet only 5-10 min. walk from the nightmarket, the beach and the bar area. A hotel we probably will come back to stay at, if and when we come back to Hua Hin.
