| Captainhook resort is located on the southwest coastline of Kood Island. Travelling there can be made by driving east from Bangkok which takes about 5 hours. Also Bangkok Airways and Eva Air provide another luxury route from Bangkok to Trat.
Captainhook resort is worth-visiting for every age people especially one who seriously concerns in nature of natural environment. The visitors may enjoy plenty of amazing outdoor activities. Crystal clear sea water with a variety of marine species is one of the most attractions for kids. Klong Choa waterfall half-day trip is the combination of traditional boat riding and trekking to the largest fresh water resource of the island. Other activities such as scuba diving, night fishing, squid harvesting, canoeing, kayaking and fire-flies touring are operated upon your requirement with a little extra cost. |

| Captain Hook resort is always cool because of the wind.
You can your favorite corners from all over the resort area such as the pavilion by the sea, bar, clubhouse, swimming pool, and the viewpoint where the view of Koh Rad can be seen.
The accommodation are located in 2 different zone; by the steam and by the cliff. The accommodations by the stream are Deluxe rooms with private balconies. At night, watching the view at the balcony in very enjoyable.
The accommodations by the cliff are Pool Suite Villas and Mini Pool Villas. Decorate in boutique style and fully equipped with a wide range of facilities including Jacuzzi. |

| Koh Kood is the farthest island from the coast of Trat. Its size ranks as the fourth of all Thailand's islands or the second to Koh Chang in Trat.
The island covers an area of approximately 105 sq.km or 65,625 rai. It is 25 km in length and 12 km in width. Its natural features include mountains and plains where many streams originate and some become waterfalls.
One famous waterfall is Nam Tok Khlong Chao flows all throughout the year. It is an ideal place for swimming, consisting of 3 tiers; the upper two tiers are running streams and the lower one is a large pond.
In 1911, King Rama VI paid a royal visit to this waterfakk and named it 'Nam Tok Anam Kok' to commemorate Ong Chiang Su.
In addition; there are beaches with crystal-clear sea popular among visitors such as Taphao Beach, Khlong Chao Beach, Khlong Hin Beach, Phrao Beach, etc.
