Coconut Beach Bungalows Resort is a new concept on beautiful Koh Chang. Strandbungalow war sehr sehr schön und geräumig. Reinigung erfolgte täglich - irrsinnig schnell und effizient. Frühstücksbüffet war auf Thailänder ausgerichtet. Für den europ. Geschmack zuwenig Abwechslung, hätte mir mehr Obst und Gemüse erwartet - es gab lediglich Ananas, obwohl die Vielfalt vorhanden ist. Störend war der abendliche Alleinunterhalter im Restaurant ( wie man so derartig laut und falsch singen kann!!!) er hat täglich sein Programm ( natürlich immer die gleichen Musiknummern) gespielt. Daher waren wir nie im Restaurant essen, die Speisekarte war jedoch sehr ansprechend. Der Strand ist nicht so toll. Es gibt keine Liegen. Nur Sessel . Keine Schrime, jedoch Bäume.

Nice and friendly staff, even if their english is not the very best. if you stay in one the beachfront Villas you will have a nice stay and wonderful view, just three meters to the sandy beach. Coconut BR has a lot of Thai guests and that gives the stay even more exotic. not so many european or russian guests. This was the second time we stayed at Coconut BR and we will be back. But they have to do something about the pool. Last time the pool was clean and clear. This time it was almost yellow!

Неплохое месторасположение отеля относительно главной дороги - в 100 метрах супермаркет, аптека,банк,обменник,торговые лавочки с тряпочками, сувенирами, есть большой ювелирный магазин, на выбор несколько кафешек.По пляжу - у Парадайз или Клонг-Прао получше будет,но это мои придирки:), сюда приходят с соседних гестхаусов, аппартаментов, у которых нет своей территории, это немного напрягало..и почему-то на всей территории почти нет мусорных баков/пепельниц..В целом отель неплохой, берет своим месторасположением, отличным обслуживанием

отличный отель по соотношению цена-качество. Прекрасный пляж. Хорошие завтраки. Проживали в номере вилла1 - немного темноватый номер, плохо работал слив в раковине. Номер 006 - вилла1. Прекрасный отзывчивый персонал отеля. Огромное спасибо работнику рецессии за помощь в бронировании трансфера из отеля до аэропорта. Чудесная территория, хоть и небольшая, но очень уютная и вся утопает в зелени. Неплохая уборка номеров. Мы бы с удовольствием еще раз посетили бы этот отель.

Отель неплохой, но довольно старый. Мы жили в основном здании (Standard Building), которое расположено прямо у дороги, поэтому там было ужасно шумно, приходилось спать с берушами. Номера просторные и светлые, с балконами, которые опять же выходят на дорогу, и от этого их ценность сходит на нет. В номере нет фена, есть только мыло, шампунь и кондиционер. Полотенца меняли каждый день, убирались хорошо. Постельное белье дешевое (обычно белое сатиновое, а тут была бязь болотного цвета). Завтраки разнообразные, с 6.30 до 10.30, вкусные, ресторан на берегу моря очень приятный. По вечерам была живая музыка и фаер-шоу. Территория отеля симпатичная, дорожки староваты, но в целом впечатление приятное. Полоса пляжа неширокая, вечером сильный отлив - море уходит метров на 20-30, в отливе купаться нельзя - вода грязная, полно медуз. Пляж неплохой, живописный, много зелени, довольно тихий. Ресторанчики закрываются уже в 23.00, а некоторые и раньше, вечером просто приятно пройтись по берегу. Рекомендую брать бунгало супериор, тогда отдых точно будет на 5+!

We were not enthousiastic about coconut beach, found it much to expensive for what it offers. staff is very friendly but not capabel. We would not recommend it. We liked the neigbours better, Chai chet resort, more quality for money. ofcourse this is our personal opinion.

We were thrilled with our stay at Coconut Beach Resort. Because it was a holiday weekend we were only able to book the back building, but the rooms were wonderful. We loved the beach, the pool, the breakfast (!!!) and the hospitality. We actually ate most of our meals at the hotel, and they were all wonderful and well-priced. Even though the resort was fully booked, it was mostly families who appeared to be having a wonderful time.

Vi, en familj med två barn på 13 och 16 år, bodde en vecka över jul på Coconut Beach resort. Vi bodde i två dubbelrum på övre våningen och bredvid varandra. Det var fina rum och sängen inte så hård. Badrummet var utomhus , var lite öppet ut, det var fräscht och fint. Hotellet ligger på stranden. Stranden är fin, men liten yta på morgonen eftersom det är högt vatten då. Det finns gott om stranstolar. Frukosten var bra och restaurangen serverar god mat, lite rörigt ibland med personalen. Vid den veckan vi var där var det mycket svenskar på hotellet. Nackdelen med vårt boende var att på baksidan byggdes ett nytt hotell som förde lite oljud samt att soptunnorna tömdes tidigt på morgonen också på baksidan av vårt boende. Finns några restauranger på stranden och på gatan bakom hotellet samt en del affärer. vill man ha mer shopping får man åka till White Sand med songthaiw (kostar ca 5o baht/person). Annars är vi nöjda och kan rekommendera hotellet.

Отель очень понравился, останавливаемся в нем второй раз. Красивая, ухоженная зеленая територрия. Хорошие завтраки (несколько горячих блюд на выбор, бывают даже котлеты. Чистый песчаный пляж. Есть один минус - это мидузы, но и они бывают не всегда (видимо зависит от фазы луны), в день нашего приезда и еще 3 дня их было очень много, но через 3 дня они совершенно исчезли как будто их и не было.

We had a pleasant stay at Coconut Beach Resort! The room, Thai Villa, was quite worn and uncharming (and with very uncomfortable bed and pillows) but the pool was very nice and the staff was excellent. We were always greeted with smiles from the staff, who was very helpful. The breakfast was poor but the other meals served at the restaurant were superb!

No phones in the rooms, no room service, no pool bar, they just hand out towels. No sun loungers anywhere. The restaurant closes at 10 pm (lights out). The paths in the resort are artificially made uneven and rough, including a totally decayed wooden bridge. No handrails anywhere, not even at the pool, but lots of steps everywhere. No credit cards accepted, no money exchange. You want to speak the manager, he is not in. I was glad to be back home.

Die Zimmer sind groß und sehr sauber, Hauspersonal Spitze. Essen gut und das Personal auch freundlich. Leider negativ ist, Wege sind uneben, Stiegen haben keinen Handlauf, auch nicht im Pool. Keine Poolbar, keine Liegen. Ich würde sagen, für ältere oder leicht behinderte Leute nicht zu empfehlen.

Mycket bra och trevliga bungalows på en lagom lugn strand. Bra och underhållen pool. Mycket trevlig och tillmötesgående personal på hotell och restaurang. Populär familje resort. Klong prao är en lugn och trevlig strand och när vi var där var det inte alls mycket folk. Vi kan tänka oss att åka tillbaka.

Good place for the money you spend. Nice beach and good food but few restaurants. If you like snorkeling, take a talk with Nou and he take care of you. Free WIFI, but sometimes slow. This beach is NOT for people who wants some more action... We also went stayed in White Sand Beach, wich I can highly recommend. Area are nice, clean and friendly staff, but breakfast could be better, but was ok. Its not a luxuryresort but I can recommend for familys. It is possible two stay 2 adults 2 child, and the price is OK. We stayed at (villa downstair)by the pool, little worn but ok, perfect with pool outside the door so we could have an eye on our kids. booking with R24 was easy, good and very helpful. Have a nice trip / Nicklas

Dieses Hotel war eine super Wahl. Liebevoll gepflegte Anlage, guter Service, aber nichts Aufdringliches. Zimmer geräumig, schönes Bad, große Terrasse. Reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet. Lage direkt am Strand und straßenseitig an der Plaza. Aber keine Lärmbelästigung, da Zimmer der Anlage zurück gesetzt angebracht sind.

The Hotel Resort was actually a lot bigger than what you could see from the pictures. The beach was very cleen and the restaurant was really good and cheep. After a few days we got however pretty tired of the dayly fireshow on the beach next to the restaurant.

A very good place to stay. We stayed in a deluxe bungalow two metres from the beach. High standard in the room. The food in the restaurant was delicious. A great pool, and the location is wonderful. A place to visit again

Vi bodde här 2v över jul och nyår. Ett ganska lungt område med kanon bad. Rummen är ganska enkla men fräscha. Skulle gärna åka hit igen. Personalen är mycket vänliga och hjälpsamma.

we didn't stay in a bungalow, but in a room. the only thing is the water in the shower is too slow , but except from that - we enjoyed a lot from the good service- very friendly stuff, the beach is beautiful and the food is good. we had a great vication on coconut beach that we will remember for a long time !!

Nice hotel. + Very nice room (we stayed at the beachfront + Breakfast buffet (althoug we missed something on it like youghurt) + Friendly staf (but one time we got really annoyed, it was lunch time and we had ordered just some fruit first, then I asked for the menu again and got it, then it was 5 people standing around doing nothing and no one was interested in taking our order, took at least 10 minutes. +Good food in the restaurant. - If you want a good sunset from your bungalow, this isn't a good place, you have to go a couple of hundred meters on the beach to se one. -The beach itself was not the best, a litte bit too much small stones. -No Internet -Poor quality on the TV (and I missed HBO!)

Very nice hotel right on the beach close to shops (as much as you expect on a tiny island). The budget bungalows are somewhat rundown (however good the price) and we rebooked after having a quick look to a better standard. The best bungalows are wonderfull. Restaurant is ok, breakfast good however the menues have been westernised which I personaly didn´t like. Plesant staff. All and all a good hotel

The superior bungalow rooms were very attractive with a fantastic view. The cleaning staff were efficient. Limited channels on the TV and no safe in the room. Breakfast was good except only instant coffee and white bread was available. Friday and Saturday night was frustrating with drunk Thai guests singing Karaoke loudly with microphones. Management didn't ask them to turn it down after complaints were made.

Standard-Bungalow: Der Raum war ok, das Bad war m.E. eines solchen Hotels nicht würdig. Die Toilette hatte keinen Spülkasten, man musste von einem Becken mit einem Schöpfer Wasser eingiessen. Die Folge war, dass die Toilette teilweise nicht abfloss. Die haben allen Ernstes verlangt, dass das benützte Papier ausserhalb in einem Abfalleimer gesammelt werden soll. Dies habe ich aber abgelehnt. Für mich furchtbar. Ausserdem stank es zeitweise aus dem Abflussrohr am Boden (Abfluss für das Duschwasser) bestialisch. Für diesen Preis gibt es weit bessere Hotels in Thailand. Das Frühstückbüfett war auch nur Durchschnitt, Thaifrühstück war in besserer Auswahl vorhanden.

First stay at this lovely hotel. The garden was nice and location right on the beach wonderfull. Breakfast good and the beach-restaurang had delicious selection of food. The friendly staff had allways time to listen to guests matters.Good place for children.My 3y and 6y loved their stay at Coconut Beach. Good restaurangs just 2 minutes walk from hotel. Spenderade 10 dagar på detta underbara hotel. God service, mat och mycket mer. Maten på restaurangen var mycket bra både frukost, lunch och middag. Priserna billigare än vi vägen. Underbar strand och pool. Rummen gästvänliga och bekväma. Kan verkligen rekomendera att åka hit. :-) Vill kan tänka oss att komma tillbaka.

The hotel has excellent location - right on the beautiful beach and has necessary services (supermarket, bank, pharmacy) nearby. Staff was polite and helpful. Room was big and clean (stayed at Wanichapool), but bathroom was below all standards - due to absorbing stone walls it was always damp and smelled unpleasantly.

The Hotel was excellent! Their service in all areas top notch!! The room was always perfectly made up whan I came from the beach, and the cleaning staff made these fantastic things with the towels (you have to see it) The breakfast was very good. You will find western, continental and/or thai styles. Coconut Beach Resort is located right at the beach. And ATM, Supermarket and all you need is close by. I Recommend this place!!

I recently staid at the coconut beach resort and I was not as satisfied as I hoped. We where 4 people living in 2 villarooms (upstairs) but in two different houses wich was not what we expected. So everytime you wanted to talk to the other two in the other room you had to go up and down on the stairs. The room was in ok shape, the beds was nt that comfortable though and there is only one window so the room is very dark and the lighting is terrible. And since there was a narrow opening under the door in our room we had a problem with a cockroach at one time. But my biggest problem was the shower. The fasset had no hose wich for me was the first problem. But the fact that the waterpressure was very uneven ment that you had to walk back and forwards to get the jet of water on you. For me this ment that I could nt wash my hair in the shower so I had to do rinse my hair in the sink instead. In cold water. We also had problems with the electricity one night and had to sleep in another room for the night. But the staff at the hotell are very kind and friendly. And the food at the hotel restaurant is excellent. Koh chang on the other hand is wonderful we had some of the best thaifood there especially at Kati's on Klong Prao beach! Try the massaman curry there! The english might not be that correct but I hope you understand anyway. Have a plesant stay at Koh Chang!

God day to all I feel happy to stay at Coconut Beach resort . It is fantastic resort for me and my family . Everybody feel happy for easy and relax resort . We can swim in swimming pool and also the sea in private beach . In future if I have occation to visit koh Chang again I will prefer to stay at Coconut Beach resort again . There is department store in the opposite side of road too. I can rent motorcycle to ride around the Island too. Happy happy happy and not expensive too. Best regards / Kornrawan

Very nice beach,location, rooms, cleaning, breakfast etc. We can only complain about the staff in the hotel restaurant. They did not understand much and we always had to wait a long time for the food and we never got exactly what we ordered.

Quite allright bungalow but witout flushing toilet. Nice staff and the food was good. Try the spring rolls. In White Sand (nearby with thaitransport 10 min) you could eat really good att the Buffalo Bill. Nice burgers! The beach was nice and not so nicy...realaxing!

The resort is on a fabulous beach with lots of restaurants to choose from up and down the beach. The Resort itself is good value, but is showing it's age in places like the sheets, beach towels, and beach lounge chairs. If they improved in a few areas, it would make the stay that much more comfortable. Food was decent and staff were helpful. Overall, a good place for families in a great location right on the beach.

Klong Prao Beach, also named Coconut Beach at the west coast
of Koh Chang. The Coconut Beach is one of the most beautiful
beaches of the island. With three ferries you can reach the island within 30 minutes. If you travel without your own car; on arrival at Koh Chang share taxis wait to take passengers to the beaches and resorts. When you leave the ferry; turn right to the street of the island. By car you reach the resort at the Coconut Beach after a trip of 20 minutes. |
