Rekommenderar verkligen inte detta hotell om man vill ha god service och valuta för pengarna. Mycket strul och personalen var inte ett dugg tillmötesgående. Boka istället Sri lanta som ligger brevid.

très bel hotel vu magnifique sur la page et le coucher de soleil, piscine jolie mais pas très grande, resto super, bon et pas trop chère, personnel gentil et accueillant, le hic c est le chambre, salle de bain pitoyable, salle, juste un pommeau de douche qui pendouille lol, clim bruyante, orreiller bof, mais wifi gratuit !!

Sono stato all amantra con la mia compagna otto notti, ne avevo prenotate tre ma la posizione eccezzionale e la tranquillità del posto meritavano più tempo. Da ko lanta si possono fare un sacco di escursioni ed è un ottimo punto base per far ciò. Consiglio a tutti di tenere in considerazione quest albergo, pulito e dall atmosfera serena.

what I can say ? I hv the complicated feelings about siameservices, because I book the nice hotels from them for railay trip . but the one they highly recommended in lanta is very disppointed . never go to amantra if u are smart enough ,especailly what u want to book is a garden view standard room . 3300bhts per night , 9900 bhts three night . u deserve a better one. the room is small , and newly decorated .u can even smell the odour of paint , it's not healthy . the tape water is always yellow . and the garden view just like a joke , the picture on siameservices is correct . but the angel they use to shoot the picture is very genius . in china , we can call it cheating . I hv been to thailand for four times , stayed in different hotels . this is the only hotel I complained . we encoutered 8 chinese people in the same hotel ., they have the same feelings.the only bright side is the beach , but , u have many choices on the same beach , it's waste the money to chose this one .

Good location at the beach. Great pool. Good breakfast. The only bad ting was that the staff in the restaurant did not understand english and it took ages to get the food. Friendly and helpfull staff in the reception.

We stayed at Amantra resort during peak season january 2011 for 22 days and were very pleased with our stay. There are about 15 beach villas that are beach front and their location is really perfect. Either you have the sandy beach right infront of your door step or a stretch of grass of about 8 meters and then the beach. Each villa consists of two rooms, some with connecting door and some without.We stayed in one with connecting doors and had booked both rooms since we have three small children and that was perfect. Note that if you have one room, there might be someone else in the second room, and the door inbetween lets more noise through than you would want if it is not your own family. The rooms are good, but the bathroom in some of the bungalows could do with a refurbuishing. There are no bathtubs and the water in the shower is either cold or hot which makes it difficult to shower children. However the staff at the hotel were very helpful and got us a plastic tub for the babies which worked. The beds are large and the rooms are cleaned very well every day. The food in the restaurant is good. Service is kind, but slow. The staffs english i quite poor but they are very helpful. However some are better than others. The staff was very helpful and friendly during our long stay and they love children, and would carry around our 4 month old during meal so we could eat in peace. The pool is nice and clean. There is one big pool and on bubble pool which works as kids pool. Amantra resort is located at the far end of Klong nin beach and walking along the entire beach there is really no other resort with their bungalow right on the beach, facing the water like the ones at Amantra. Free wi-fi, but unfortunately the network is not strong enough to reach the bungalows so you have to go to the reception to get connected. Nice thai massage is available at the resort. However there is no spa yet. If you go here, don't miss to have dinner at the hotel next door, Sri Lanta, which has a wonderful atmosphere, food and again superfriendly staff that speak quite good english.

We had some trouble at first with our booking, that was after complete payment cancelled by the travel agency due to a wrong booking. However upon request they solved the situation by finding us Amantra resort which we were very happy with. Howvever they had missed to book us two rooms which we had requested and payed for. This was however solved by Amantra resort upon arrival.
