The hotel was really nice and the staff very friendly. We were att Cha-Da when the Tsunami warning came and the manager took care of us and made us feel safe. The room was big and clean and the 2 big pool areas was also tidy. I can recommend this hotel.

Cha-Da Beach Resort and Spa
Accommodation and facilities:
We stayed 6 nights at Cha-Da. The hotel is big and very un-personal. The staff seemed arogant when we had some questions and wishes. We would have expected a better service from a hotel in this price class. All in all we would say the Cha-Da wants to be more than they are. In our opinion it's merely a turist class hotel

Talad Saladan or Leam Tueng
Tourists who come by tour operator's boats will step down on Koh Lanta Yai first at Talad Saladan pier or Leam Tueng as called by the locals. This is like a small gateway to receive all visitors from overseas. "Gateway to Koh Lanta Yai" as called by some, is fact, it is the locals on the island that attract the tourists and are like a gateway lovely, warm and very friendly to them.
Klong Dao Beach
is a famous beach with the largest number of accommodation on Koh Lanta. The white and clean sand and the spacious beach makes it the tourists' favorite.
Phra Ae Beach Or Long Beach
was separately called in the past, but become the same beach nowadays. It has a beach line with brownish red sand that stretches straight as long as 2 kilometers, narrow and sloping ideal for swimming.
