This was my very first trip to Samui. I am a bachelor and was traveling alone. Bonnie is a wonderful little hotel, operated by a Thai family. The room was clean and comfortable and didnt smell like cigarettes. It is nice and quiet. The bed was comfortable. The TV works, with many channels. I didnt get a single mosquito bite. The hotel staff was very freindly and helped me to book taxis and tours around the island. From this hotel it is a quick two-minute walk to the beach. It is also a quick 3-5 minute walk to the shopping & eating and nightlife areas. I will definitely stay here next time.

Отдыхали семьей,2 взрослых+ребенок 11 лет.Из минусов наверно только жестковатая кровать,но мы привыкли спать на жестких матрасах и нам это особых неудобств не доставляло, и шумный кондиционер,который мы на ночь просто выключали и в комнате было совсем не жарко.Плюсов значительно больше,во первых-каждодневная и качественная уборка номера,во вторых-бесплатная дополнительная кровать для ребенка,в третих-очень хороший персонал,готовый подсказать и помочь в любое время,нам даже организовали на машине отеля несколько экскурсий,и это обошлось значительно дешевле чем у уличных турфирм!До пляжа всего 300м через территорию соседнего отеля,причем на наш взгляд именно в этом месте он самый чистый и комфортный на ламае.Недалеко много недорогих кафе,а для тех кто не очень любит тайфуд+есть желание приобрести на отдых недорогую,но вполне достойную по качеству одежду и спортинвентарь в 15 минутах ходьбы есть большой супермаркет tesco lotus,а по дороге к нему рынок,где можно всегда приобрести свежие фрукты.Лучший отель за эти деньги!Очень чисто,очень хороший персонал.

Good location at Lamai center and just 3 minutes walking to the white sand beach.The room is very clean with housekeeping everyday and really value for the money of a budget hotel.Very very friendly staff than expected, book for 2 nights and end up for 5 nights. Lovely place feel home sweet home.

Stayed eight nights at this excellent little family hotel at Lamai beach. They provide cleaning and new towels every day, the service and friendliness from the owner is explicit. The rooms do differ in quality. We stayed one night on the top floor, and the rest of the nights on the second floor. The top one contained a lockable closet, one queen size bed and a single bed, but a typical Thai hotel style bathroom, with no separate shower area. The room on the first floor had a separate shower area, one queen size bed, no lockable closet, but a toaster and a water boiler. All rooms come with balcony. Free coffee and tea at the reception. A lot of returning guests and we understand why. The only downsides are that the hotel doesn't have a restaurant, swimming pool or direct access to the beach (which is about 250 m away). But for the price, you get more than what you pay for at Koh Samui.

A very good hotel close to bars and beach.Also well run by Nong who is very friendly and helpful and offers a good rate for booking trips.The room is cleaned every day.Only problem is a loud nightclub nearby which started at 2am to 6am.

We were a group of 8 ages 40 - 70 and stayed at the Bonny Hotel for 10 nights. Nong who manages the hotel is fantastic - nothing is too much trouble and she organises the best prices for any outings etc. We would recommend it highly to those looking for budget accommodastion in a central but quiet location with excellent service.

Superb value for money - right in the heart of Lamai but secluded enough to be quiet. Rooms are basic but extremely clean. The owner Nong was fantastic - very friendly and went out of her way to help and efficient. I will definitely stay at Bonny on my next visit.

3 of us shared a room which was very basic but very clean and very cheap! if we needed anything Nong would do her best to help and to give us any information we required, she was great as was her son! The location was great, especially for New years Eve and within walking distance home! I loved the location and would definately go back

bonjour je suis francais pour l hôtel on a reçue vraiment un accueille très chaleureux c est un hôtel de famille la patronne et très gentille et on peux éseiller de dialoguer en thaïe avec elle (elle a le livres de Charles Degnau) il est situer dans une impasse donc pas de problème de bruit, très propre, et très belle vue,climatisation, internet, on sera simplement étonnée par des cadenas sur les portes en plus des serrures ( mais point de vue sécurité pas de problème c est surveiller par la famille je le répète c est très agréable mais ne vous attende pas a un 4**** ce n est pas le but que je rechercher en venant (avant tout la tranquillité). plein centre ville, en sortant de l impasse a droite, et sur le trottoir de droite je vous conseilleré un restaurent indien d aspect très simple,mais cuisine 4**** et pas cher par contre a droite le mac-do a déconseiller: désagréable et mauvaise qualité (étonnant pour un mac-do!) -------------------------------------- hello I m french to the hotel we received a really warm welcome is a family hotel and the owner very nice and we can éseiller dialogue in Thai with her (she has the books of Charles Degnau) is located in a stalemate so no problem of noise, very clean and very beautiful view, air conditioning, internet, it will simply be amazed by locks on doors and more locks (but no big security problem is not monitored by the family I repeat it is very nice but do not expect a 4 **** this is not the goal I seek in coming (before any peace). city center, leaving the dead to right, and on the sidewalk right advisors I restore an Indian looking very simple, but kitchen 4 **** and cheap cons on the right by the mac-do has discouraged: uncomfortable and poor quality (surprising for a mac-do!) -----------------------------------

I was pleasantly suprized by the nice greeting and warm welcome by the owners Nong and Mao who went out of there way every day to make my stay a real comfortable one. the cleanliness was outstanding and the room was fairly roomy.This place is great value for money and the location is good and reasonably quiet. Night security and a 24 hour front desk is a nice touch

We stayed 5 nights at Bonny hotel. Good location; 5 mins. from the beach. Clean rooms. Good and friendly service from Nong and the other people there. Nong made our stay there comfortable. She always smiled and asked how we were doing. She also rents scooters, does laundry service and helps with travel plans (bookings). Definitely worth the money!

Litle oasis, this place was a gem of a find, from the wonderful Non who runs it to the cleaning staff who came in every day. Non went out of her way to help us. We woke to find we had a puncture in our 4x4, she got her son to help me replace the wheel. No breakfast but just around the corner is the Irish bar who do a good breakfast for 99 baht. Overall would recommend this place to anyone. Cheap, clean, friendly & good location.

We stayed at Bonny Hotel for 12 nights this semester 2009. The service was high, very friendly staff. I can strongly recommend a visit at the hotel. The every-day cleaning is good and the hotel offers laundry service within 24h. The rooms are standard, but very nice and sweet with AC, refridge, hot shower, TV and a small balcony.

The woman who runs this hotel is wonderful! I am a woman traveling alone and was made to feel very welcome, like a guest in her home. The rooms have everything you need, including TV, air con and hot water. The hotel is very close to the beach (about a 90 second walk). Lamai is a great beach, not too busy, and the water is warm and wonderful for swimming. The hotel is also just off the main road where you will find plenty of restaurants, shops and bars. The hotel has internet access and they can book excursions and onward journeys for you. I definitely recommend this hotel and think that it is especially good for women on their own.

stayed at the bonny for 13 nights, the room was cleaned every day, with clean sheets and towels every day also.there was a television,a fridge,shower room and air con in the room.the decor was a bit plain but that was ok with me.the hotel is up a side street so was fairly quiet,but only a few minutes away from nightlife,and 5 minutes walk from beach.the lady in reception who ran the hotel was very pleasant and helpful,other staff were also helpful.all in all a very good low budget hotel,i paid 700 baht/night,which i thought was good value for money.

Nice little hotel just of the main strip of Lamai Beach. The staff are very friendly and the hotel is clean. They have a variety of tours for booking. I signed up for the NYE countdown in Koh Phangan, which included transfer direct from the hotel to the party. I also got my laundry done through the hotel. I dropped it off in the evening and they had it ready the next day by 5 pm. It was also neatly folded and bagged. The lockeres on the main floor are convient as you can stop by the hotel and lock up shopping bags before heading to beach (or the bars). Overall a pleasant experience.

I was pleasantly surprised by the great hospitality of Khun Nong and the clean rooms. The location is great, within walking distance to the shops and some good bars nearby, McDonald's just round the corner. Greatly recommended.
