we stayed for 9 nights in a sea view room - and what a view it was.Overlooking chaewang beach and out to sea it was breathtaking. the hotel was quiet but that suited us fine. the food was excellent and the staff were really friendly and always had a smile on their face.they struggled a little with the language barrier but this made it more fun. the shuutle service to lamai beach was great so you had the best of both worlds the beach or the pool. i have stayed at the amari, chaewang beach resort and the centara in the past but when we go back again we will be coming back to this hotel as value for money £37 per night for 2 inc brekky.if you intend to go to koh samui then stay here if you want a relaxing holiday without being too far away from all the action

The Hotel it is on a fantastic position - very quiet which was perfect for the first few days or for honeymoon. Staff very attentive, but the hotel it isn't so clean, holes in bedclothes and bathclothes. To go downside it costs 500 Baht per way for a taxi to the main part of the island.....

The positives of this hotel are the wonderful view. The place is clean with all facilities and the people were great. The negatives are that it is a bit out of town and also the beds are like many in Thailand- very hard.All in all, I would recommend you stay here.

We really enjoyed our stay at Samui Bayview, especially the fantastic view from our room and the restaurant. The food at the restaurant was great, Thai and other. The 4 pools were really beautiful. It was quite quiet when we were there, which was even better. Breakfast was OK. Staff were friendly. We d stay there again. Good value for money. Only drawback would be it's distance to the beach and the taxi prices to and from Chewang, between B200-300.

We stayed in a deluxe room facing the ocean & the view from the room was excellent. The hotel can work around the food slightly as they have limited choices and may not suit the taste of every international traveller and it is not possible to travel 8 kms each for lunch and dinner to Chaweng. Also the towels and bedsheets need a little more attention. Otherwise, the hotel is very nice to stay as the staff is also friendly and services are good and I would recommend it strongly. Value for money, truly.

The hotel is very nice with exceptional view. Hotel stuff is very nice and helpful but unfortunately their english knowledge is very limited. Food is OK, could be better, could be worse. The poolbar was never open, but this might be because of the lack of demand, or staff (I am not sure). So there are possibilities for further development, but I would recommend it.

BW Samui Bayview Resort was a real disappointment. The menu was slim and the food makes you ill. Breakfast is covered in ants. The hotel is definitely not up to 4 star standards, rooms were ok, no aircon, fan only. Not what it lives up to on the websites.

Hotel was set in a beautiful location but I did have several issues during my stay which annoyed me. I had orignally booked 2 rooms for myself and three kids but our visit ended up having 5 people in the group. I had to pay an additional 1000 baht per night for the extra person even though an extra bed was not required. I thought this was unnessacary as there was no additional work or expense to the Hotel. There were renovations going on 7 days per week so a lie in was not possible, also when my daughter & Partner were swimming in the pool half the workers decided to stop and have a look which the girls were a bit edgy about. The hotel had a snooker table but the cues were unusable because of the tips which were non-existent, a small gripe but still you expect all facilities to be available during your stay. Rooms were nice but the Hotel in general was a bit outdated,TV reception was very poor, no DVD players in room although available on request and the pillows were extremely hard. The staff were pleasant but I would stay somewhere else if I went back.

Good value for money. Second time staying at Best Western Samui Bayview. They are currenlty doing rennovations which were sometimes noisy and also caused one of the pools to close for 2 days. Otherwise the staff are very friendly and helpful and we enjoyed our stay there. The free shuttle to Lamai and Chaweng is free and runs every hour.
