I would recommend this affordable hotel. The people who work here are great. Just a short walk to beach. Probably the only small comment I d make is the breakfast included is only continental breakfast. They should probably say that. The chicken spaghetti I had for lunch was very good!

Much better in terms if the room than I expected but if you have suitcases there's no lifts so your going to have to carry them up stairs if your on one of the top floors. Clean bathroom and spacious room and across the road from the beach. A good place if your just looking for a place to sleep and leaves bags in a safe and comfy place.

Very good experience in Koh Samui and in particular in Chaweng Beach Hotel. The staff was very kind, efficient, available for any information. The room and the bathroom was confortable, spacious, clean. The restaurant of the hotel was good and cheap, but unfortunately not open for dinner. The hotel is in front of the beach, in a very good position. In few words, it was like to be at home!

The hotel itself was good, great location as the beach is right across the road, but you don't have to listen to the noise from the bars at night. Lots of shops and restaurants around too. The room was fine, did everything we needed and decent A/C. The service from the people at reception wasn't very good though. As they were showing me and my friends to our room, the woman just sort of half heartedly attempted to ask my friend if she needed help lugging her huge bag up the stairs (no elevator). Then just stood and watched the whole time. A couple of other times they were quite unhelpful, so don't expect anything special if you stay there!

Clean, A/C worked well. On the north end of Chaweng beach, so it's a bit of a hike to the heart of the beach. But that also means it's relatively quiet in the evenings. Chaweng is packed with tourists and touts, so after a day or two that can get old. For a more relaxing stay consider a hotel on another beach, such as Bo Hut.

When first attempting to book accommodation for Samui I was unsure where abouts to book. I booked 3 nights at Chaweng Beach Hotel just so we had somewhere to stay when we arrived. This hotel is situated in Chaweng North. This is about a 5-10 minute walk to the main bars and clubs. We paid 1300BHT per night for a standard room. The rooms are clean however I could not wait to get out of this hotel. It is quite dark, gloomy and depressing, nothing like the pictures shown. Not enough light gets into the room, when I opened my window it was facing a wall. There is no pool and it is not located on the beachfront. I think this hotel is slightly overpriced for its location and facilities. We started looking around the very next morning and were able to get a walk in rate of 1200BHT per night at Ark Bar Garden Beach Resort. For 4 young travelers this is the place to be, we stayed there for 2 weeks and no complaints. It is directly across the road from the best clubs and Ark Bar has its own bar that is very popular each night. The staff at Chaweng Beach Hotel were great but this place is not where I would stay again. For the price there is much better accommodation around. Try Ark Bar, P&P or Samui Coral for reasonably priced accommodation in the heart of the nightlife.

The staff are quite nice and helpful. We booked one- day tour in Koh Samui and the boat tickets to Koh Tao from the receptionist. The room is clean. We stayed in the third floor. It’s quite at night. The hotel locates just the north end of main Chaweng street. Opposite to the street, there are a bank, a 7-11 and some retail stores, such as Locste, and underware stores.

Good location, not too far from the nightlife 10-15 minute walk. 2 minutes from the beach. Clean and Spacious rooms, Friendly staff, good cheap food in the downstairs restaurant. About 11 of us stayed there. We all were extremely impressed with the hotel in comparison with others closer to the center of Chaweng beach which tended to be more expensive and smaller.

Staff very friendly and helpful, very tentative to guest needs. Hotel launched a meal service during our stay, couple of minor misses, however the value and willingness to learn far surpassed them. Rooms sufficiently appointed; (I would like more if I was living in the rooms but that what the beach is for)! Close to the beach and the action on the main strip yet far enough away not to be disturbed by life on the strip. Overall great value for money, suspect it would be hard to find better value a hotel of this quality in Chaweng. Downside of my posting is more people will seek to use this accommodation increasing demand and consequently prices - positive is that it will remain in business with wonderful caring staff.
