A hidden gem for families! We stayed in one of the family pool villas with our 2 children aged 2 & 4. There was ample space, facilities and privacy for everyone. We were close to beach access,the pool,the bar and restaurant.The staff were very friendly and kind to the children. The resort is in a good spot to go out on the main street for shopping and restaurants, the hotel car is also very reasonably priced to use as transport. The negative is the beds and pillows are rock hard and breakfast is not the best buffet we have had but was adequate.The bar was always quiet, it would have been good if they had offered a cocktails and a bit of music at least on 1 night for some atmosphere. We would definitely stay there again as par of our holiday but not for the whole time.

Жили в бунгало с видом на сад. Понравилось место расположения отеля. Хорошая зеленая территория. Отличный пляж, на котором специально обученный сотрудник отеля расставляет лежаки и открывает для вас зонтики. Баланс цена/качество нормальный, но не превосходит ожидания. Касательно сервиса отель оказался значительно проще Тропиканы, в которой останавливались на Чанге, но это не напрягает. Спасибо Антону Voodoo Child с сайта orenmore.ru, который помог организовать самостоятельную поездку в Таиланд.

The room with balcony standatd is 2+ little high price for this standard. Very good breakfast with little variation every day, good service everage, we had problem with the balcony door, the serviceman came directly. The hotel has restaurant, pool bar, gym. Resaurants in the close area, 10 min walking to the center of village. Negative: you have to pay to use internet.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 weeks and we enjoyed it the whole time. Location couldn't be better, right on the beach and near to the main road. Staff very friendly and helpful, breakfast super and nice poolarea. We lived in their family poolside bungalow and it was really nice and the cleaning of the room was excellent! I can really recommend this resotel! =)

I booked Beachfront with SiameServices and other room with Agoda. I have a problem with other room. When we checked in the tea spoon is only 1.During checked out, the hotel force us to pay 80TB for the tea spoon. So be careful with this hotel.Better asked them to follow you to the room and make sure they have everything when you check in the room. The house keeping told us that they dont have extra bedsheet when I asked them to changed after my daughter vomitted on the bed sheet. Such a big hotel dont have extra bedsheet. Breakfast is so so only.

Wouldn't stay here again. It's great for groups/young people as it's busy and there are lots of other people there but too busy for me. It also has a bit of a package holiday hotel feel to it. The rooms/hotel are clean but not much character. Also they have a 700baht joiner fee which is ridiculous. It's one of those hotels that make extra charges for every little thing which can add up. Another thing that annoyed me was the menu, which wasnt cheap to begin with, but didnt include 7% tax and they added 10% service charge to bill also. This means a bill of 600baht for food would actually come out at 700baht. Dont get me wrong, this was mentioned on the menu, but I ate at many many restaurants in Thailand and everywhere else included tax in the menu price and didnt have the cheack to add 10% service charge. Also when I gave the moped back, the guy wanted to charge me 500baht because he claimed I scratched it. The hotel didnt seem interested in helping even though it was booked through them. Wouldnt go back.

Excellent service,I will never use anyone else for booking hotels in Thailand. I had to reschedule my holiday due to the Icelandic volcano and this website was able to move 2 of my hotel bookings to entirly different weeks at no extra charge or penalties. They did this very quickly and efficiently. I am not convinced one of the big travel companies would have been able to do this, especially as you can never get through to them (especially when there was the volcano problem) and you cant seem to email them. Cannot recommend this service enough

Great place to stay, Great staff too. When we blocked our drain (3 girls with med -long hair) someone was sent up right away. Nothing was too much trouble - Would go back and stay AGAIN. Beds were Ok, Our room had a flat screen TV, Dvd player, mini fridge - Just what we needed. Location was right in the center of things - 2 mins down the road you had all the shops. 7/11 next door etc.

Excellent hotel, good value for money. We booked 2 x deluxe garden rooms which had obviously been renovated recently. Spacious, clean - excellent. Good service, housekeeping, etc. Breakfast ok. Restaurant area could do with renovating but I think they are in the process of doing this. Excellent location - beach good, walking distance to town. Our only negative comment is the compulsory gala dinner on Christmas Eve. We did not arrive until 8pm (we had previously informed the hotel that this would be the case) in the evening, the dinner had started at 6.30pm so there was very little food left and what was left was cold. Overall great holiday and would definitely return.

A nice hotel, one of the best in the area I would imagine. Not a bif 5 star name like Centara but with all the comforts and the luxury. we stayed in the beach side pool villa. The pool is very small so hardly anything to talk about but is overlooks the beach which is a plus. The beach is nice and calm, however we could not swim much there was something in the water which caused itching all over. Breakfast is alright, but the choice is limited. Overall a pleasant experience - calm, neat and peaceful. I think it is a bit over -priced.

the hotel is really nice (its not shabby any more as they ve done some repairs). its expremely green and beautiful as well as Jasmine s. But the restaurant and service is much better and grill is worth tryin(the cook is amazing) Service is really good. The only drawback is ocean water as it is not really clear and you might meet a tiny jellyfish. But nonetheless I liked Lamai more than Chaweng as its really greeny and streets are wider . Besides there is a great shop just round the corner and Irish pub .

Generally clean rooms and pool. No other facilities. The breakfast is nothing to write about (eggs, one to two types of fresh fruits, one ham, one sausage, rice, one vegetable dish... you get the idea). Generally pleasant stay but on checking out, had to wait at reception while they went to inspect the room for stolen items !! The housekeeping staff missed one of the slippers and one glass, they insisted we pay for these. We had to go back to the room to show them that everything was in place before they were satisified. Would I recommend this place - not really, the insult at the end of the stay spoilt the holiday for us.

We had the Family Poolside Room, which was absolutely wonderfull. Lot of space for a family of 4, all clean and nice. The bungalow is facing the pool and is few meters away from the sea. Staff was very friendly. Good and not so expensive restaurant. We reccomend this resort to everyone and we will return for sure.

We stayed in a poolside bungalow. The accommodations were very nice, with great direct access to the beach. The room was always clean except for our last night where we encountered 2 huge cockaroaches. We were just glad it happened the last night. But when we called to complain the staff just laughed at us which was a bit frustrating. The pool was very nice and clean, but we were unfortunately there the same time a French family of 10 was staying there--- with 7 uncontrollable lil kids. So it wasn't the most relaxing pool time sadly. All in all though, it was an enjoyable stay and the location on the main Chaweng strip is perfect. Close to many good restaurants and bars.

This was a very good choice. Good enough quality for the price. The point was to stay in the main building, not in one of the bungalows, and from the balcony we ve got the best seaview available in the whole hotel (bungalows can't provide any view at all), reasonable price and no mosquito problems. We liked very much breakfasts, location, the beach, the stuff, the pool. The only thing we didn't like was overpriced dinner menu (the restaurant was empty most of the evenings). We had booked 5 nights, in the end we stayed 6 nights more. Although we ve seen better hotels on Chaweng Beach, we would definitely recommend Chaweng Cove Resotel to everybody.

I stayed for one night only and am very glad of that. I booked it on spec, off the Net and it does not live up to its claims. I paid 2700 THB for a less than average hotel room without a balcony. There is major renovation going on under the hotel block and coupled with the street noise, it is less than desirable. I cannot comment on the bungalows but they appeared very close set and I think that privacy would not be guaranteed. Breakfast was crowded and the staff struggled with the numbers. Quality of food very average. I would not recommend this establishment.

After checking out almost all the resortss in this area including each locations on site bungalows vs hotel I selected the Chaweng Cove. I am very pleased with their entire operation. They are professional in all aspects. The staff is friendly and heds to your every beconing. They are always present and ready to serve but they do not hang right by your side. I stayed in the balcony facing the sea. I believe it was better than the bungalows. I could sit on the balcony and see the ocean very well. The bungalows are on the ground level and face one another. There is a walkway between then leading to the beach. The view was restricted because of the close proximity of the bungalows on either side of the walkway. The beach is kept clean all day. Peddlers approach you only if you ask them. Otherwise they keep their distance and smile. The location is perfect. You are near one end of the beach therefore there is not a lot of through traffic (beach or streetside). The management serves 24/7. Among the normal Thai breakfast they have egg omelets. They have rental car and motorcycles onsite. You park in front of the office (always occupied) and walk to your room. Security is ever present and stops traffic to help you get into the street. They all make you feel welcome and let you know they are there to assist you. Believe you me - that is so important as I don't speak Thai. I would highly recommend the Chaweng Cove to all people.

What a wonderful place to stay. Great value for your money. We desided to book because our daughters had been her two years earlier. Lucky us. So nice people. So nice beach. Wonderful breakfast, lunch and dinner - and cheap. Walk around to neighbour hotels and was so happy that we had decided Chaweng Cove Resotel. For normenn: dette er virkelig valuta for pengene. Kan anbefales av oss og våre to vennepar som har vært her i uke 6 og 7 i 2007. Fantastisk strand, mat og vennlighet. Topp thai masasje på stranda. Ingen negative overaskelser i det hele tatt.

was very unhappy with room. did not know it was directly over the main roadway till we arrived. From 1PM to 8PM a truck would drive by with loudspeakers blaring telling you not to miss kickboxing event each evening. From 10PM to 2PM music from nearby disco made it impossible to sleep and when I tried to tell that to the staff, no one spoke english. Never had prior paid for breakfasts because always could now not get up that early.

The Hotel has a nice appearance and all the people were very agreeable. This is certainly a nice place to stay. It is however, a bit far from the nightlife but that can be an advantage and its easy to get around. The beach is good here though they don't have enough beach chairs. They seem to have a shortage of hot water but after complaining twice they improved the situation somehow. Free breakfast comes with the room and is quite tasty but the eggs are risky (I threw one up). Apparently standard room means roadside so these would all be a bit noisy. Note that if you stay over 12/24 you will be forced to pay $60 for a very low quality Christmas buffet (we had to go to dinner afterward). Also be aware that room keys are not unique - you can use yours to get into other people's rooms if you are drinking and get mixed up.

I have to say I was very disappointed with this hotel. I contacted the hotel via their email, not siameservices website, regards a change in my reservation dates and received confirmation that all was fine and my dates had been changed and the room booked accordingly. However, when I arrived at the hotel, they had no record of the change and denied the email. I thought this rather strange as I still had the email. They were able to give us a room but only after a heated discussion. The rooms themselves are dated and the air-conditioning broke down on day 2 of our stay there (garden view bungalow). The bungalows are opposite each other so you look straight into someone else's room and therefore I had the curtains closed most of the time during my stay there. The staff themselves do come across as friendly, except when you have problems and then some of them develop attitude problems!! The place itself is disorganised and the staff don't seem to know what they are doing. I organised, and confirmed twice, my transport to the airport for my flight home with reception and then on appearing at reception at 9am (as requested), I was informed that the car had already left and I hadn't booked the transport. This really was the final straw with this hotel, especially as the person on reception was the lady I confirmed the transport with the day before. I finally caught a taxi myself to the airport which cost me less than it would have if I had gone with the hotel. The hotel itself is quite a way south of the main Chaweng bit so you can expect a 10-15min walk to the bars etc. The only good thing I would say about this hotel is that breakfast had a good choice of options available. Overall, I would not recommend anyone stay at this hotel. It is disorganised and overpriced and I can easily say there are cheaper hotels of equivalent or higher standard available to choose from.
