we booked in to Harrys for 3 weeks but stayed for only 2 weeks, the bungalow was dirty smelly and the bath room was full of mould and cockeroches, after 7 days I had to ask for the bed linnen to be change, this happend the following week as well, not impressed with the service, the staff were very nice but we would not go back again.

Very nice resort with very friendly staff & a superb restaurant. The only critisism is because it was low season, it was very empty & quiet, which isn't so great if you get bored easily or have no transport. Thankyou for a pleasant stay.

Bungalows sind ok, stehen in einem wunderschön angelegten tropischen Garten, angenehmer Pool, relaxte Atmosphäre, man kann engl./dt. Bücher ausleihen. Das Restaurant ist hübsch, Essen ok, es gibt auch noch zahlreiche andere nette Restarants in der näheren Umgebung. Zum Strand muss man zwar ein paar Minuten gehen (am besten die Abkürzung durchs Meridian nehmen), der Strandabschnitt ist dort aber dafür lang, breit, einsam und es gibt eine hübsche, coole Bar

The bungalows are large and clean. The territory is very quiet and green. The location is 5 mins walk from the Lomprayah pier, which is excellent if you return from / continue to Koh Pangan or Koh Tao. The beach is also a few mins walk away.

Un petit paradis tropical, un service parfait, du personnel charmant parlant anglais, chambre avec AC et wifi à volonté, lit de 2m, piscine, la plage à 5mn à pied, un touk-touk inclus pour vous emmener aux courses, le village à 800 m, location de scooter sur place, un prix en Juin plus que correct (750 THB + petit-dèj. Le Harry's vous propose aussi des tours vers les cascades et autres curiosités. Bref, à recommander absolument si vous préférez le calme et la propreté plutôt que le bruit et l environnement de la côte est.

La réservation par le net est pratique et rapide, seul le taux de change est décevant. Le prix affiché n est donc pas vraiment respecté. Me méfiant, j ai réservé seulement la première nuit puis j ai prolongé de 14 nuits une fois sur place.

We spent a wonderful week at Harry's and the longer we stayed the more we liked the place. The family bungalow was spacious and had a bathroom in both bedrooms. The rooms are not joined but separated by a verandah and have their own entrances which can be a bit inconvenient with small children. Our kids are 8 and 9 and they loved to have their own private room. Harry's is a bit far away from everything but there are some shops and restaurants nearby. Actually you don't need to leave the place as there is a good and friendly restaurant, laundry service, internet and other essentials available. But the main thing is the wonderful tropical garden! It's so relaxing to swim in the beautifully shaped pool and watch the butterflies, birds and all sorts of colourful flowers. It's peaceful there, and we liked everything very much. I highly recommend it for families, as the bungalows are clean and well equipped, the garden is safe, food is good and people very friendly.

The atmosphere was wonderful with the Teak houses being the restaurant area and the bungalows were very clean and cute. You aren't on the beach though, you need to walk around the block or take the hotel's free shuttle to get to the beach. Their pool is great and they do provide pool towels.

We booked 4 nigts but we stayed only for one night in Harry's Bungalows because we had small beetles and other insects in our bed and we did not sleep for the whole night. After that we checked out and moved to Coco Palm Resort. There it was very clean and the people were very friendly. We had a goot service.

Generaly Harry´s is a good place to be if you want really silence and no entertainment .Furthermore the beach which was mention as one of the best one of Koh Samui we couldn´t agree it was very narrow so that you couldn´t lay on your towel .Maybe the time of year wasn´t the best one to visit the Meanam beach . The room was clean with enough space.

I initally only booked one night here because I wanted to ensure that the accomodations were up to par. After staying here the first night I booked the bungalow for two additional nights and was completely satisfied with everything. The bungalow was clean and the staff was great. The property is also kept up extremely well. The other highlights were how quiet and peaceful it was here and the restaurant was amazing as well! I would definitely stay here again and plan on doing so in the near future!

Nous avions retenu 3 bungalows au Harry's pour deux nuits lors de notre arrivée sur Samui en février 2009 mais nous avons passé deux nuits supplémentaires. Le cadre est très zen avec des bungalows sans prétention mais très propres dans un jardin tropical avec des cascades partout et des bâtiments en bois exotique style thai autour de la piscine. Le rapport qualité/prix est un peu excessif avec 1400 baths d autant que le Harry's n a pas d accés à la mer (15mns de marche) mais même si nous avons trouvé mieux par la suite, le Harry's nous à bien plu avec sa cuisine excellente et son personnel charmant sans oublier Oy, Na et Goun, les trois masseuses de l hôtel, gentilles et adorables qui ont aussi un stand sur la plage. Bref, le Harry's est fait pour ceux qui recherchent la quiétude loin du tumulte et de l agitation de l ile. Notre bonheur étant fonction de notre faculté a être satisfait, le Harry's remplie le contrat.

We weren't sure what to expect here because it was our first time booking ahead. We were pleasantly surprised! The write up on the place was exactly what we encountered. The bungalows are spacious, clean, cool, and turned daily. The pool was clean, quiet, and relaxing. The beach was just five minutes down an easy path. The restaurant was good albeit the prices, which were higher than we could find elsewhere with the same quality. We only ate at Harry's a couple of times because good, cheaper places, were right nearby. The service in the restaurant was very good. Would definitely stay here again!

Accommodation and facilities:
The staff is very helpful and friendly. The bungalows are a bit small, but with connecting bungalows it's perfect for familys. The pool is nice and kept clean. However a new resort is under construction between Harry's and the beach, why you no longer have direct access to the beach. This is solved by a 3 wheeled shuttle taxi, with free transfer to the beach and back. But it takes approx 5 min to walk to the beach. It takes approx 10 min to walk to the main road at Maenam, which in this end is a very quiet place.The food at the restaurant was really good and the prices as well. We enjoyed our stay!

Die Anlage ist nach wie vor empfehlenswert, sehr gepflegt und neue Bungalows wurden gebaut, aber leider ist der direkte Strandzugang nicht mehr vorhanden, da eine Luxusbungaowanlage davor gebaut wurde. Harry´s bietet jedoch einen kostenlosen Tuk-Tuk-Service für die Strandfahrt an. Das Personal war wie immer sehr, sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Essen dort hat uns nicht mehr so geschmeckt, aber man kann ja woanders hingehen um zu essen!

Poor Harry s. It has everything going for it except location and lack of visitors. We were it's only guests at the time. Accomodation is great, clean, spacious. Food is good too. But when they say 80M to beach they mean as the crow flies . There's a new hotel being built on the land in between, however there is a tuk-tuk available to take you there and collect. The beach is nice but unsuitable for children as there's a dropoff right at the edge and rough waves. We didn't even dip our toes ourselves as it is so rough.

The staff is very friendly and service is excellent. Quiet and good atmosphere. Good food. The Bungalows are cosy and the staff keep them clean. Great pool with nice sunbeds and extra towels. Approx 10 min to the beach - but free Tuk Tuk service is available. We enjoyed our ten days and had a lovely, relaxing time.

FANTASTIC!! We never new Paradise was located at Samui. But it was. Harrys made our stay more faboulus than we expected. The staff was wonderful, the food was amazing, the bungalows great and the garden with the pool was perfect. We could have stayed here forever!! THANK YOU! Og til dere som kan lese norsk; Helt ubegripelig bra hotell. Vi kommer definitivt tilbake hit!

very good rooms , breakfast very minimum , 2 eggs , toast, coffee but if you wanted bacon or sausage you had to buy it, staff very friendly if you want the beach you have to get a Hotel Tuk Tuk for a 5 minute ride and phone them when you want to come back , We had children but the sea seemed a bit deep for them to play about in, Harrys has a small swimming pool

Bungalow was excellent , staff very friendly and attentive , the swimming pool was good as it had a shallow part for our small children , food was good but the breakfast was not up to much, just 2 eggs , toast, fruit juice and coffe if you wanted bacon and sausage you had to pay extra

Harry's is the best hotel/resort I have stayed in. The price is fantastic, the staff cannot do enough for you and the food is cheap and high quality I would recommend it to anyone wanting to have a relaxing holiday in beautiful surroundings

Quiet Bungalows 80 Metres from the beach. Unfortunatley the gate was closed as buiding work on a new hotel has just started. This did not detract from a peaceful place , well designed in a quiet area.

Wir waren 3 Nächte in dieser Anlage und vollauf zufrieden! Sauberer Bungalow und das Servicepersonal sehr, sehr bemüht und freundlich (vor allem Jas). Liegt an einem beinahe menschenleeren und ruhigem Strandabschnitt von Meanam - so richtig zum Seele baumeln lassen. Können diese Anlage nur empfehlen.
