Advantages: -Great location right on the perfect clean beach. Not too far from town's center. -Sunbeds and umbrellas are comfortable, sufficient quantity, always possible to find free ones -Cleanliness, good room service -Breakfast is good in general, but can be more various -Restaurant serves nice dinners on the beach in the evenings, good beach bar. Disadvantages: -Personnel can't understand and speak English even some people from reception!!! -Poor check-in service. I had to see 4 (four!!!) rooms before they gave me a good one -Facilities are quite old. Everything including room's furniture and equipment needs renovation -Superior rooms are quite small, it makes sense to book delux one Resume: Good value for money. This hotel is really good choice if you need great beach and ready to accept some inconveniences.

Although we have booked a non-smoking room more than a month before our arrival and my spouse is pregnant, the hotel could first offer us 2 smoking rooms with reference to that all the other rooms were allegedly fully booked. The TV set and toilet were broken. The shower was of a very poor quality, in no way of 3 stars quality hotel. Only after long discussions a receptionist of Impiana had promised us to change the number on the next day. However, on the next morning the new receptionist only asked us to reply to which specific better room his preceding colleague promised us to change the room. We should stay the second night in the same awful room in front of the loud traffic street. Very cynic approach. The pool of the hotel is small and not comfortably located on the road of all people to the beach and the restaurant. The beach in front of the hotel is not good and always full of the hotel guests. You should reach a very good beach by walk to the left alongside the seashore in approx. 10 minutes, in front of the other hotel. The other thing we liked in this hotel are good breakfasts.

Hotel is in a perfect location for us. The staff, from front desk to gardener are all very pleasant and try to do the right thing all the time. There was a problem with the booking when we arrived but the staff did their best to correct the error.

Wonderful hotel with a nice Thai feel. Reception staff weren't very friendly, however the bar staff made up for that. Rooms were lovely although walls a bit thin could hear the TV going next door and the plumbing from the rooms above. Having said all that I would definately return, loved the atmosphere and the Thai cooking class was lots of fun.

Wonderful time, excellent resort and location. Can't complain about service, only on arrival, staff not so friendly and helpful. Beautiful room and view. Only complain the matras of the double bed is extremely hard, which caused back pain and stifness in the morning. The resort can invest by replacing the matrasses as qaulity and comfortable beds definitely sell a resort's popularity. It must be mentioned that the resort management were putting a lot of effort by provide a program filled with entertainment for its guests. The Impiana Resort and Spa Samui is definitely recommendable.

hotel was great.located just out of the main street 10 min walk along the beach or 150-200 bht taxi ride plus free shuttle from hotel. minor problems with room but relocated without any drama.beach is nice with some stalls and hawkers but not as busy as the main beach

Hotel is quit good and stuff friendly but not very professional. Our room with beautiful view on the beach and see was very loud because of the street - the Hotel is almost directly on a street and has very loud air condition.I think, there are better places to stay at Ko Samui.

My daughter and I had a wonderful holiday at Impiana. The most memorable experience is that the beach is uncrowded at all,except for the holidayers. With the absence of the general public we enjoyed better without being gawked at when we sunbathe. Perhaps we visited outside the peak period, the Restaurant and Spa discounts were pleasant surprise. Wonderful Impiana, enjoyable holiday. We shall return!

First stay in Samui and would recommend the hotel to anyone. Resort nice as away from main area and very good beach. Only problem is if you want to visit Chaweng the taxis are all mafia trained when it comes to their charges.

Nice resort on a quiet beach. Service was very good. Staff is friendly, helpful and polite. This is a good choice if you are looking for a quiet stay away from the busy areas of Samui. My wife ad I had a great time and will stay here again on our next visit.

Very nice resort, in the process of renovations. The staff are very friendly, and speak english well. The beach is clean and quiet. We had a wonderful time. I made comments to the Management regarding a few issues, and they were handled immediately. It would be unfair to pass negative comments based on one or two problems that were corrected to satisfaction. Give this resort consideration, I have been to Samui before and Impiana is good value for the price.

Lovely looking hotel, on the right part of the beach, far enough away from the noise of chaweng, close enough to grab a 5 min taxi if you want the bars etc. Hotel room was lovely & clean, nice little balcony. Rooms were being refurbished while we were there and apparently the bathrooms were much biger than the small one we had. The restaurant was really good, breakfast was excellent. I did not think much of the lunch at the beach bar, tiny portions just enough to fill a tiny hole. I am only small and not a great eater but I could have had two servings. Good all round, i did recommend and book my family & friends into the impaina at the end of their stay as a surprise. They got a better room than me!

Was ok! Reception works good. Rooms are big enough, bathroom too. I think the rooms need some attention. A Little bit of paint somewhere, some new tiles in the bathroom. A little bit simple to take a shower, whole bathroom is wet afterwards. Television canals fall off. But the hotel is beautiful set on the beach, breakfast is perfect, very nice staff!

Location is great, staff is friendly and helpfull.Rooms are nice, a bit small, but you don't spend much time inside anyway. If travelling with small kids (as we did) consider that there are a lot of steps inside the resort which is a bit of a hazzle. Overall good value for money.
