Vi ble positivt overrasket over hotellet. Rommene er enkle og litt små, men har alt du trenger. Frokosten var veldig bra, med godt utvalg. Bassenget var nydelig og rent, restauranten likeså. Et lite stykke å gå til stranda, og ikke den beste delen av stranden heller. Ca ti min å gå inn til sentrum av Lamai og den bedre delen av stranden.

Our stay in Thailand was pleasant. However we have been very disappointed by the Lamai Buri hotel. The benefits were not the height. We were all the same in a Deluxe Poolside room... But the cleanliness was unsatisfactory. A Roach stayed 3 days in the toilet. The head of bed was all stained. Bedside tables lamps did not work, it must be said that the electric wires were defective, scotchés or altogether not connected. We needed to claim the towels, there also was a bit of randomness. We had a reservation of taxi for the home to our arrival but nothing has been noted and we have of cope us alone. I am not the prohibitive price of the restoration. I will not recommend this hotel.

This is a fine hotel. We lived in the romantic suite and the rooms are large and nice. Perfect fot our family of 2 adults and 2 small children. The staff in general are nice. The bartender att the pool and the breakfast staff especially. The receptionstaff however is far from great. They are indifferent and unattentive. The breakfast is boring and is not displaying many choices. We are pleased with our stay.

we had a very nice stay for two weeks at Lamai Buri.We stayed in the two bedroom house.It was a bit old, but very clean and the staff was very nice, aspecially to our two children.The pool was nice, and was in the shade after 16.00 which we appreciated since it was very hot , unusually hot even for Thailand.

We enjoyed this hotel very much. The room was nice and clean. The breakfast was perfect and specialy the people who served the breakfast were very kind, friendly and helpful. The only point was our payment. We paid money before we came by visa. That was oke. At arrival we had to pay the rest. We filled up the form and gave our passports to the receptionist(manager). They made a copy. The rules in the hotel is to pay the rest from the amount by arrival. So we paid the rest and then we got the key from the room. We didnot ask for a receipt or we didnot get a receipt from our payment. When we left our hotel(last day) we were called by phone by the reception. They told us we have to pay the rest. We were really confused and surprised and shocked. Waiting and talking a long time. We asked the manager to see the video so they could see we have paid the full amount. Oke waiting... waiting.... The receptionist called the manager who should view the video, but before he told us: Only the owner can see the video >>>!!! The manager came back and told us: I can see the video because the system is new and I don't know how to handle it! We have a long discussion about this, because we are honest and we don't like this. Then (he was the man who received the money) he told us, maybe its my fault and I am wrong, sorry etc and sorry again. We could not sleep before departure from this black page in our vacation. Its was terrible. Bad administration. Only our fault was not to ask a receipt. But how can we have the key from the room as it is only possible to pay the rest by arrival? Next time we will make our own video from our payment. I hope the owner will read this also and not only the manager and the receptionist because they have to learn about this. We asked to talk with the owner but that was not possible. There was no wake-up service. We surely will come back to Koh |Samui and also to Lamai Buri because we enjoyed very much this place.

It was a very nice hotel with a fine and clean pool. We had 2 poolside rooms and they where large and had a nice toilet. We stayed for one week and if I go back to Ko Samui I will stay here again. You get very much for youre money. The staff was friendly and helpful. Nice beach.

Great resort. Stayed for 2 weeks in a 2 bedrom house and liked it a lot. The staff is friendly and helpful and you feel very welcome. The rooms are clean and good value for money. The resort is on the upper side of the main street and it is a 3 min walk to the beach but on the upside it's very quiet. Our kids (9 and 7 years) loved it. The pool is good for kids. The restaurant is good and the breakfast is really good. Summary: A good hotel for family and thoose looking for a quiet, nice place to stay during there holiday. You can get more luxury elsewhere but then you'll have to pay alot more for it.

Friendly staff. The room was nice and had a lovely sea view. There are quite many stairs that might be a trouble for some people.The cleaning was a bit poor and we also lacked shower cream now and then. Very nice pool area. Good food in the restaurant, but the breakfast was rather poor.

Hotel was ok , but not service. We wanted separe beds as we have a very sick son. We had been with him at Banngkok hospital twice in Koh Samui and we get a \ reltbed\ which we had to pay extra for but we only were 2 people in that room. We also had another room.\r\nAnd to the \ teltbed\ we didn´t get anyshits. Very bad, will never recommend this hotel to anyone.-

It is NOT advised to stay at this hotel. I booked 2 Superior Garden View Rooms and when I arrived we were made to pay in advance before seeing the rooms. However these Garden View rooms overlooked a busy mainroad and the hotel's car park with a karaoke bar on one side and loud disco music on the other. The receptionist Ms. Poo was EXTREMELY rude and higlighted the fact that no deposit would be offered. Once she got our money, she refused to help and was very un-coperative. The rooms are a rip off and very basic and the buffet breakfast is cheap! It's really not worth the money!

It is a reasonable choice for the price. We had a Seaview Room,all the basic amenities were supplied.Good view from the Balcony. Hotel grounds very clean,Pool always cleaned in the morning.Staff friendly.Location is very good.Easy to get to the Beach and Centre of Lamai Beach Town.Some good Restaurants and Bars,Pubs near by.Quiet location. Breakfast is basic,but o.k. Would recommend this Hotel.

Good location - away from street & bars. Around 10 mins walk to the beach. Good value for money. We will definitely book again.

I booked Lamai Buri thru Web SiameServices. It was a nice hotel, still brand new. Unfortunately they dont accept credit cards. Please bring enough cash if you intend to stay at this hotel. Being a muslim I find it quite tough to to find a muslim food on the island, however with some help from the local folks I managed to find a few stalls that operates by a muslim (Hua Thanon, Opposite Bangkok Hospital & at market in Lamai).

Reliable service provider. For those who intend to travel to Koh Samui please use the airport transfer offered by Web SiameServices as it is much cheaper (400 Baht) compare to Taxi you take at airport (700 Baht).

terrible!!!! do not stay here! location may be good but they insist on having us pay the balance on our account in CASH (a major financial pain), our sink was clogged for 2 days, the shower would cause the electrical fuse to blow whenever more than 1 light was on in the room, the waitresses at breakfast would refuse to bring us items on the set complementary breakfast menu because she was too lazy to go up and down the stairs (she would only bring us stuff when her supervisor came in with us at breakfast time), the pool closes at 3pm if they don't see anyone in it (which is simply ridiculous)

Great hotel and good value for the money. Breakfast wasn't anything to write home about, but given the overall price of the hotel it was adequate. Staff was wonderful and everyone always greeted you with a genuine smile. The manager Khun Poo was extremely courtious and helpful. Less than a 5 minute stroll to the Lamai strip and beaches.

We booked a room with seaview for 3 days. The pool is on the seaside so we got a room with pool- and seaview. The room was big and the bathroom very good and working fine. Everything was very clean, large balcony with comfortable chairs and a small table. The hotel is near the main shoppingstreet with all restaurants and bars, and only 5-10 minutes walk to the the best part of Lamai beach. The poolarea is nice with a big pool, a small pool for kids, comfortable sunbeds, free pooltowels and a poolbar. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was very good with thai- and international dishes. The hotel was exactly what we wanted so we stayed there for the rest of our visit on Koh Samui. If you stay on the hotel for some days I recommend to book sea or poolview. We can highly recommend this hotel, you will have great value for money.

I spent a long time at the hotel and I would do it again. I found it to be very clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was big and the bathroom very good and working fine. The rooms where cleand and made up every day and the pillowcase was new every day, nice. A beautiful garden and a nice poolarea. 5-10 min to the beach was perfect. The brekfast was more than I could eat every day. I have and will reccomend this to friends and family. Only one thing, the garden view rooms don´t have balcony and is looking out to the back of the hotel. I had one gardenroom booked but I changed it at once to a seaviewroom. So if you plan to stay a few days book at least seaview.

My two daughters and I spent 5 nights at the Lamai Buri Resort in Lamai Beach in late April 2008. The rooms were clean and spacious, the restaurant overlooking the pool was lovely and service was great. The pool was great for swimming seeing as the beach is a 5 minute walk away. The resort is located on the main road so finding transport is easy if going to another area of the island, or a short 5-10 min stroll will take you to the main Lamai beach/bar/shopping area. Would not hesitate to recommend staying here to anyone.

Nice and clean. Good swimming pool. Couple of minutes walk to beach, not so far. Location is good, not in centerpoint but not outside town either. Nothing that bothers u by night, like trafic, bombom girls or drunken people. Breakfast included while booking from kohsamui.nu, didnt know that when i booked, came as a nice suprise. Walk in prices are higher then prebooked from theese sites.. So i recomend to prebook here..

We can highly recomend this hotel. Its a new building about one year old. We booked a seaview room and it was a nice big room with a big balcony. The garden is beautiful and the pool is nice and big (you can get there towels for free). Everything was very clean. The service was nice and friendly. It´s about 5 minutes to walk to the best part of Lamai beach. Very high waves all the time. You can rent a motorcycle at the hotel (150 B/day). The breakfast was a little bit poor, but it´s ok for the price. All restaurants are very near by and you can just walk to it. The pancake-maker in Lamai is the best one!!!! Taste it!!! We can highly recomend this hotel... see you next year Lamai Buri Resort.

We loved Lamai Buri! The rooms are brand new, clean, beautiful! Very roomy, and an excellent price for what you get. The pool is great - they have both an area for adults to swim as well as a safe and fun place in the pool for young children (our daughter is 3). The resturant food was really good, and service was excellent. We had some problems with our flight and arrived a day late, and the staff worked to accomodate us - we were so relieved! The resort isn't on the beach but is a very short walk to both Lamai shops as well as to public access to the beach. We have been to Lamai several times before and have stayed in different places each time, be we have agreed we will definately stay here again.

We booked only 2 night to start with, but we liked the place so much, that we stayed 13 days! We stayed in a Villa, superb! Nice little house with everything (ac, fridge, safe, hot/cold water, tv). Everyday clening in the house. My brother lived in the hotel buildning and was also pleased. Pool area was very nice and all staff friendly and service minded. The restaurant has good food and good prices. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. We will recommend this place for everyone!

First of all, i would definetely recommanded this resort to traveller who wish to stay in peaceful atmosphere yet value for money. This is the best place for you to relax. We stayed in seaview room, the rooms were very clean and lovely. Rooms equipt with fridge, hot shower and air-con. very convenience and beautiful. only one things i dissatisfied was no water supply in our rooms, the water run very slow. Overall, hospitality were good, restaurant food are good as well, this hotel just took a few minute walk to Lamai beach. Therefore i give this resort 8 marks upon 10.

Great place. I have often visited Thailand and stayed in many hotels, the Lamai Buri ranks as one of the best. Location is idealy situated being only a couple of minutes from the main road and beach. However, it is quiet and peaceful. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The pool is excellent and ideal for both toddlers and adults, drinks and meals are served throughout the day. I had a lovely room on the ground floor in front of the pool. Cleaned everyday, very comfortable large bed, air-conditioned with fridge, safety box and cable TV. The gardens are beautifully looked after. The staff and owners are very keen to please and take real pride in their guests welfare. They have only been open less than one year and are obviously keen to impress. I will be going back again and have no hesitation in recommending the place. A real value for money experience.
