We definitely rekommend others to stay att Lamai Inn 99. We lived in a familyroom. The rooms are just as big as they seem in the pictures. The music from the pubs is a bit loud, but we got used to it so in was disturbing just the first night. With the aircondition on, we did not hear it at all. The rooms are clean with no bugs. Отдыхал в этом отеле второй раз, за последние 3 года, в этот раз с 26 декабря 2011 по 15 января 2012г. Цена/качество/расположение - основное достоинство отеля. Номера разные, могут попытаться впихнуть не кондицию, например когда главный компонент туалетной комнаты (унитаз) расположен в душевой кабине, т.е они располагаются за шторкой, лейка слева, а унитаз справа, это из чувства экономии пространства. Мыться сложно т.к. брызги живительной влаги из лейки одновременно поливают Вас, унитаз и туалетную бумагу, хотя можно сосредоточиться и прибегнуть к различным методам дедукции и избежать брызг и как следствия намокания, но на отдыхе хочется просто отдыхать а не приспосабливаться. После настойчивых просьб - номер заменили на более достойный. Также к недостатку первого номера нужно отнести посторонний, весьма ощутимый шум от работы насосной станции, т.е. когда идет разбор воды собственно Вами или соседом (два номера объединены под одной крышей) включается эта насосная станция где-то под номером и ревет она не по детски, особенно это напрягает когда ты спишь, а сосед, нагулявшись, пришел под утро и решил сполоснуться. После смены номера этих проблем с душем и посторонними шумами больше не наблюдалось. Уборка - ежедневно, лебедей из полотенец на кровати не крутили, но убирали быстро и четко. Пляж вполне нормальный, недостаток - отсутствие лежаков, хотя за 20 бат можно взять в отельной массажке циновку и валяться на ней или на полотенцах. Кафе вполне приличное при отеле, хотя цены не самые гуманные, но никто не принуждает пользоваться их услугами, можете спокойно покушать в Теско-Лотус, до которого 25 минут пешком или 7 минут на байке.

Lamai is a great base to explore Samui. It is quieter than Chewang and more laid back. It has plenty of bars and restaurants. if you stay in Lamai then the Lamai is a perfect choice.;

非常好的酒店，我定的是Deluxe Sea View Room，离沙滩只有一个栅栏所隔。就是门的隔音不太好，晚上睡觉时海浪声太大。有非常充足的热水。很好吃的早餐。离麦当劳、7-11和lamai的夜市都很近，几分钟就能走到lamai的主街上。在餐厅附近有免费的wifi可以使用，就是速度不太快。

When we arrived they had no room for us but we were upgraded to a better room, but chose so even upgrading to beachfront after 1 night. Nice rooms, good location with walking distance to shops and nightlife, some noise from nearby bars. Beautiful beach but the water is not nice, my daughter's white t-shirt she had on was yellow after 1 time in water, then we only swimmed in the pool, there was not enough sun loungers by the pool and it was also a very small area around the pool. The staff is very friendly and helpful, good food in the restaurant. Da vi ankom havde de ikke noget værelse til os, men vi blev opgraderet til et bedre værelse, men valgte så selv at opgradere til beachfront efter 1 nat. Lækre værelser, god beliggenhed med gå afstand til butikker og natteliv, en del støj fra nærliggende barer. Flot strand, men vandet er ikke lækkert, min datters hvide t-shirt som hun havde på, blev gul efter 1 gang i vandet, derefter badede vi kun i poolen, der var dog ikke nok liggestole ved poolen og det var også et meget lille område omkring poolen. Personalet er meget venlige og hjælpsomme, god mad i restauranten.

If you are looking for a laid back vacation with really good service than Lamai Inn is the place for you. Owners are really good and they go all the way to take care of needs. I had to to cut short my stay by a day and they accepted with no complaints. Even arranged drop back to pier at a nominal rate. Thanks to them. However, the location is not so great as the sand on the Lamai beach is very coarse and hurt when you walk on it. Also sea is bit rough on this beach. Chaweng is better due to soft sand and calm sea. You can easily take a taxi from main road (100 M) for chaweng beach. Good value for money resort. One suggestion, they should provide sun bed on the beach like most of the resorts on either side of the hotel.

Lamai inn is much better than our expectation. We booked the cheapest Garden View room and surprisingly found it to be a villa. The room was clean, quiet at night and comfortable to stay in. Most importantly, the location is quite good. The beautiful Lamai beach is just one-minute walk from our room. Besides, it only took about five minutes walk to the center of Lamai, with plenty of food and entertainment.

Отдыхали на Самуи с ребенком 7 лет с 5 по 19 августа 2010 г. Огромное спасибо Антону Соколову (Asiahotels.ru)! Все прошло прекрасно! Прекрасный отель! Очень чисто, хозяин сам ходил сдувал листочки у бассейна, убирались каждый день, выкладывали нам из полотенец разные фигуры. Сразу скажу - идеальный отель для тех, кто отдыхает с детьми, так как все, что необходимо, находится в шаговой доступности. Персонал очень приветливый, повар в ресторане - просто профи! Завтракали в нескольких ресторанчиках на берегу - везде хорошо, так что завтраки можно в отеле не брать. Пляж у отеля замечательный, только нет шезлонгов, но нас это не напрягало, прекрасно на чистейшем песочке сидели под пальмами. Из экскурсий съездили в Национальный морской парк. Надо сразу оговориться, что все экскурсии на Самуи достаточно примитивные (всякие так называемые шоу!), так что стоит лишний раз подумать: Может быть лучше на океане это время провести Еда очень дешевая. Стройка в отеле закончилась. Есть, конечно, несколько номеров с неудачным расположением, но я думаю, что всегда можно номер поменять. Мы жили в трехместном номере с видом на бассейн. Мотики лучше не брать, уж больно плохо все ездят. Следуйте инструкциям Антона и все будет в порядке!

We were the second times in this hotel. We had booked the Garden Villa, but wants to have a sea view room, it was no problem, we got our sea-view room ^ _ ^. We have the room No.056. It was one of the oldest room from this hotel, very basic. And some nights were very noisy (due to the newly opened bar of the main road!) Was not so good. But the prospect of beach was great. The room was only 7 steps from the beach. But would book again because the staff were very very nice and very helpful.

I ve stayed at Lamai Inn 99 numerous times before and most likely will stay again next time, but at the time of this particular visit it was not so great as the hotel experienced large scale renovation, pool was suddenly closed for renovation too without any notice either at the hotel or in the reservation system, which only stated that some rooms are being renovated, while in fact there was a full scale on-site construction work, with old bungalows placed between pool and road demolished and noisy concrete-laying works being performed at that place. These activities were observed and heard only in pool view rooms (in the left part, or wing of the hotel), while the entire right part was okay and untouched though.

I found my stay to be very nice this trip. I last stayed at Lamai Inn 99 eight years ago and now the over all upgrades for the customers are apparent. I stayed in a room overlooking the pool and found the room to be very nice and the staff to be very pleasant. I enjoyed the use of the pool everyday, however with the building next to it being torn down, much of the dust from the construction site ended up in the pool and now the water needs to be changed out. There seems to be no other way to get around booking a room and also paying the 500 baht taxi pick up fare. I have friends living on Samui who are able to pick me up and transport me to the hotel. Location of Lamai Inn 99 is excellent. Only a faint noise from the street nearby during nights. Nothing wrong with the service aswell! We spent 3 nights in Pool View room. Very clean rooms there. There's a pool indeed but the ocean is just about 25 meters away, which is nice.

Tråkig, snudd på otrevlig personal. Dåliga öppettider i receptionen. Ingen möjlighet att lämna in nyckeln på kvällen. Bra städning, dock väldigt sent på kvällen. Vi fick städat efter 17 flera dagar. Poolen låg inte specielt nära rummen.. Håll koll på vad du tar från minibaren och vad du sdan får betala! Kan skilja 100 sek som i vårt fall.. De gick med på att vi inte skule betala, men det var inte glatt!

Rooms and garden are very neat and clean (rooms daily cleaned, garden daily watered,...etc). The staff is very friendly and helpful. The dishes in the restaurant are tasty, but often sparse (esp. American breakfast!) and more expensive than elsewhere. After storm (with big waves) the Lamai-beach is always very dirty. A lot of waste and oil is washed ashore. So I couldn't use Lamai-beach for 1 week and I had to switch to the pool or to Chaweng-beach. In my mind's eye the offenders (who pollute the water) should be tracked and punished.

В июне 2009г летали на 15 ночей через Антона Соколова на остров Самуи, 2взр 1реб (8). Сразу скажу, все прошло идеально с точки зрения организации (2 перелета гостиница трансфер). Отель выбирали по отзывам местоположение (магазины, питание, развлечения). Lamai Inn 99 очень удачно расположен по середине пляжа Lamai beach. Окраины пляжа (достаточно протяженного) не такие великолепные, очень сильны отливы, после обеда вы там точно не покупаетесь в море, хотя там стоят отели 5*. Что касается пляжных баров, то сконцентрированы именно в этом месте, на разный вкус (от релакс до диско). Так же на городской улице - самый центр, это McD полно всяких баров (итальянские, местные и пр.) типа рынка, где местные готовят вам еду из сырых продуктов, при вас, очень дешево, мы попробовали и больше не стали (побрезговали) торговые ряды. И магазинчики тут же – Family market и 7eleven (sorry если напутал с названиями, кто был в Тае, тот поймет о чем я :)) Сам отель очень достойный, убирали каждый день, номер взяли с видом на сад, цена была 1400б/сут, и небольшой приятный бассейнчик. Экскурсии покупали при отеле (будка стоит на территории), все удачно! Завтраки не покупали при гостинице, утром выбирали куда пойдем завтракать, цены примерно везде одинаковые, 150-200батт. P.S. в Таиланде были в 4ый раз, теперь знаем как правильно ездить, экономя финансы, до его летали только через операторов.

Удобно расположен, рядом кафе, магазины, ночная жизнь. В то же время в отеле тихо и спокойно. Персонал любезен и обходителен. Бронировали гарден-рум. Номера данных категорий оказались двух видов. При заселении номер не понравился, одно окно выходило на хоз. двор, где сушилось бельё. Без проблем поменяли на другой, который нас устроил по всем параметрам. А через неделю предложили перебраться в освободившуюся гарден-виллу, там вообще оказалось всё супер. Пляж замечательный. Приливы-отливы не заметны, купаться комфортно всегда. Отелем остались очень довольны. Рекомендуем.Полное соответствие цены и качества. Всё очень понравилось. Если доведётся побывать на Самуи ещё раз, то остановимся здесь же.

Our hotel (room 5) was perfect for us. It was not on the beach which would have been much busier where as ours was quiet and perfect for sitting out on our deck and enjoying morning coffee. We had breakfast several times at the restaurant and the quality and price were good. Everyone was nice and helpful. The rooms were kept very clean and the grounds were impeccable. We would definitely recommend this hotel. The price was very reasonable.

This is a really great place to stay on Ko Samui - and very good value, too. The bungalows are excellent, and the beach side restaurant is a wonderful place to enjoy breakfast, kick back and people-watch. A two-minute walk will take you to the centre of the action in Lamai, while in the other direction, in a couple of dozen strides you re paddling in the sea. It is also totally hassle-free and discreet. I fully intend to return, the sooner the better!

Hotel is very good and in the perfect position (middle of Lamai). Food and service was execellent as well as the daily cleaning service. Beach Bangalow is brand new and provised an fantastic view on tejh beach (20m). If not available go for a garden bangalow (Beach view room is out-of-date.) Pool is on the other side of the road and you can't see the sea from it - Therefore we didn't use it at all. Reception was always helpful and fullfilled all requests e.g. jeep/motorbike/tour bookings. Will come back next year.

I was a bit worried because I normally pay more for my room but I wanted somewhere close to the beach and to the main area in Lamai, everywhere else I looked was either too far out or hugely expensive. I decided because of the good reviews to give Lamai Inn 99 a try. The room was good, much better than expected, also has a nice bar / restaurant next to the beach. Placed next to the laundry/work area but was still relatively quiet. Good pool area. No beach chairs at beach which was a pain. Stayed in a Garden room, bed was very creaky but comfortable. Unfortunately had 2 cockroaches in our room! But other than that everything was ok. The most annoying thing was the air-conditioning didn't stay on when you left (very hot whenever we came back) as you had to take the key out. Would stay there again but try a villa next time.

Stayed 6 nights at Lamai Inn 99. First night in a 2-part-bungalow . Those rooms were very small. We managed to transfer to a huge family apartment, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. That was really good. Nice beach, nice restaurant. Will come back.

Empfehlenswerte, schoene, gepflegte Anlage. Wir hatten ein Zimmer für 900 Baht. Zimmer ist sauber und in gutem Zustand aber etwas hellhoerig. Geraeusch-empfindliche sollten besser einen Bungalow mieten oder auf einen ruhigen Nachbarn hoffen. 1 Minute zum Strand und 5 Minuten Fussweg zur Strasse mit vielen Restaurants, Shops und Bars.

Very nice resort, calm, but also near nice center of Lamai. Two steps from bungalow to clean beach and perfect swimming water. Good restaurant, nice and pleasant staff. One remark on reception staff, which could be more friendly (needs a lot of effort to make them smile). To be recommended.

Reservation works fine; negative point; we received twice a wrong (too cheap) quote (for rooms and airport shuttle), on which they had to come back and correct them.

I stayed for 3 weeks and I can say I had a very pleasant time in Lamai Inn 99 . Good food in the restaurant , serviceminded and nice staff and the hotell is placed central and close to the beach and Lamai road ,if I go back to Lamai it will be at this very good hotell again.

We had 17 nights (28.03 - 14.04.)in a Garden Villa. The bungalow was quite new, very clean and comfortable. The location, right in centre of Lamai beach, is excellent. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There is a large beachfront belonging to the resort. Its just a minute walk to all the bars, pubs and restaurants. At nighttime it is very qiet. Perfect location.

Ich habe eine Woche in einer der Garden Villas verbracht und habe mich sehr wohl dort gefühlt. Nettes Haus, nettes Personal, gute Lage (direkt am Strand und nur ein kurzer Fussweg ins Zentrum ), sehr gute Massagen neben dem Hotelrestaurant, im Restaurant recht gute Küche; faire Preise. Ich würde jederzeit wieder her kommen...

Very well run establishment. The staff is attentive to the guests. The premises are kept clean and all amenities are functioning. The restaurant was open until 7 PM and a good value. Mainly used for breakfast and lunch. Quiet location. Booking trips and onward travel was easy because of an office on premises. I would like to see free wifi internet availability

This is the third time I have stayed at this hotel. This time we had a beach view apartment. The location was excellent, you couldn't get closer to the beach. The accommodation (room) was tired and in need of updating. Having stayed at the Lamai Inn 99 before and stayed in other rooms I know they are more modern than the Sea view Room we had. One other point you may be interested, none of the rooms I have stayed in at the Lamai Inn 99 have wardrobes. Don't expect draws and cupboards to put your clothes in! Having said that, the location was, as I said, excellent. The staff that clean the rooms are very friendly and love to teach you a bit of Thai . Bedding and towels changed every day. Flowers left to brighten up the room and balcony. Reception was hassle free. I will stay at the Lamai Inn 99 again if and when I return to Lamai.

The booking service could not be faulted. Good communications, no problem with paying by credit card, no issues. I will use them again.

Hotel was nice and clean but way too close to a very noisy bar. Had to use earplugs to be able to sleep. Receptionists did not understand english very well so I suggest to order trips / cars from elsewhere. Lamai beach not the cleanest of beaches in Samui Island. But instead the hotel pool was excellent!

Although we have upwards of 100 meters of beachfront,
we have deliberately kept most of it open with wide expanses of lawn and
garden for everyone enjoyment. As a result, many of our bungalows which
are not on the beach have clear views of the water.

high and peak seasons and many of our guests are repeat customers who stay

on rare occasions demand simply out-weighs supply given the number of walk-in
requests, over-stays, or late arrivals. In those rare instances, we will
accommodate you upon arrival and can usually give you specifically what
you want within a couple of days.
