Nice room (C w/ jacuzzi), spacious enough for 4 (2 ad + 2 ch, 5 and 7). Daily cleaning was not good, but towels were changed every day. Very nice situated with greenery all around. Restaurant and pool area worn and needs a face lift. Our friends who has stayed here several times says that nothing has been done... Friendly and helpful staff!

A small resort directly on Chaweng beach and which COULD have been perfect but unfortunately there is a housekeeping problem. Some rooms are quite old, but nice, and therefore not easy to clean but it was really bad. In my room the bathtub was not at all cleaned before the 5th da!! And the terrace is really dirty. It looks as if it has never been cleaned. Around the swimmingpool you find the same thing. Really a pity because when I was there they bought new matresses for the sun chairs around the swimmingpool, very nice ones in fact but the area was not at all clean. People in the resort are very nice and you have the feeling they are aware of those problems but can't do anything about it. I told the management and was invited to dinner on the beach, very nice, but nothing changed when it came to cleaning. Beside that the location is fantastic but the beach of course somewhat neglected as other parts of the resort.

The location and the service are quite good, but the facilities in the room must be improved. I booked the most expensive room in the restroe, however it is not as good as I expected. The Thai villa is close to the entrance of the restore, as a result a little bit noisy. And the air conditioning is not work well, sounded like a motorbike. All in all, Malibu is the place worthy your money.

It was the first time in my life when at check out the receptionist took the key and went to check the room . I have a big experience and visited a lot of hotels all over the world, but NEVER NEVER NEVER someone checked the room either I drunk something from minibar, broke something in the room or any other case to charge me. It's humiliating!!! It's niggling!!! the relationship between the hotel and the guest must be based on mutual trust. For any cases of dishonest guest's behavior the hotel have copy of the passport.

Отдыхали семьей,отель понравился,но с некоторыми оговорками.Из плюсов-однозначно лучший участок пляжа на чавенге,особенно для отдыхающих с маленькими детьми.Небольшая но очень зеленая и ухоженная территория,не очень разнообразные,но вкусно приготовленные завтраки.Недалеко от отеля есть супермаркет tops,где можно недорого купить фрукты,молоко,йогурты,мороженое,алкоголь на любой вкус+готовая еда,это важно если ограничен бюджет или если вы не любите питаться в кафе.Очень доброжелательный персонал.В бунгало есть большой телевизор+двд,возьмите с собой диски с мультами и фильмами и ваши дети будут вечером заняты,а вы сможете спокойно попить пивка на берегу.Небольшой но хороший бассейн,ребенок,устав от моря с удовольствием в нем купался.Из минусов-жили в бунгало b1 и b2,когда-то очень хорошие и удобные,однозначно требуют косметического ремонта и замены кондиционеров.Очень громкая и не очень вменяемая музыка в баре,заводят часов с 5 вечера и до 12,это всетаки отель,а не дискотека и современная клубная музыка реально напрягала,хорошая,подходящая по времени и месту музыка-одна из составляющих успешной работы ресторана,собственно из-за музыки его посещать и не очень хотелось.Уборка номера проводилась очень поверхностно.

A nice , pleasant resort to spend your vacation in Chaweng. It combines in an ideal way quiet- even for day sleeping after the parties - and a very convenient position to the night bar and club scene.The beach is fine, without the overcrowded rows of sun umbrellas met some hundret meters norther on Chaweng Beach. Superior B Bungalows are roomy, convenient, pleasant and in a generally OK condition. Apart from that the air-conditioner was not effective enough,everything worked. The resort personnel are really helpful and kind and do their best in service,although English language is not the strong point of communication with Thais! The menu has a good variety at reasonable prices and food - aspecially Thai dishes - is fine.So the only criticism is, that -despite former request and confirmation- the room safe box was out of order, due to a renovation, and this caused the inconvenience to use the reception safe box.I would definitely stay again in Malibu Beach Resort next time on Koh Samui.

The hotel was great and right in the middle of all the action on chewang. The breakfast was good and all that would be expected of a thai hotel trying to cook an american breakfast but the eggs were individually cooked for you and there was juice, good coffee and cereal (what more do you need). We stayed in a standard A room 9 (room A1 to be precise) and it was fantastic very clean and linen and towls changed everday as well as towels provided for the beach. The bathroom is well used and could do with re grouting here and there but you only spend 10 minutes in the bathroom so who cares. Massage on the beach great and there are a number of massures who are very friendly and just at the bootom of the steps to Malibu. Deck chairs around the pool and on the beach easily enough for everyone. Overall very good especially for the price the location

Location in relation to chewang beach is excellent with everything within easy reach by a short walk. Room was fine with only slight issue with below par/standard of air con in room and wethered look/feel of some of the windows in bathroom. They are being damaged by the water in shower and need to be replaced or bathroom slightly redesigned. Staff were very friendly, especially the cleaning and service personnel. Pool large enough for gentle swimming and option of the sea there as well. No problem catering for us as family and other guests in hotel seemed as happy with service as well.

The Malibu is definitively an amazing place to stay in Samui. Me and my husband had the greatest relaxing 1 week time ever in our life there. Location cannot be better on the Chawen beach, very close with 1 minute walk to the main street with shopping and night entertainment, without expected noise! on the beach front, with transats, nice swiming pool, confortable, nicely decorated and clean room (even standard) with our intimity, and most of all the nicest staff for servicing, especially at the hotel's beach restaurant and bar, what else: delicious food Thai and European and also fresh sea food all day at reasonable price (not cheap and not expensive, like everywhere basically) plus a breakfast buffet until 11am. Everything you need it there. I will be back there for sure and warmly recommend it to families, both young and old couples, friend teams, but not to high-society people as it may look too simple and not that luxurious.

As usual I enjoyed my stay at the Malibu very much , it must be six times now . The staff were as friendly as ever and made my stay enjoyable and wanting for nothing . The pool was clean as was my room and the drinks were cold . A steady flow of hot coffee with breakfast overlooking the ocean and a few cold drinks at happy hour after a massage. Can not beat it . Malibu Beach Resort
Accommodation and facilities:
Wonderful location, with easy access immediate access to the beach, helpful staff. Rooms were rustic and pretty, well cleaned and looked after daily. The pool was slightly small, but was well kept. Breakfast was a small menu, catering more to the westerners, with insufficient local flavours. On the whole satisfactory. The restaurant does make good thai dishes. The hotel is located directly on Chaweng Main Beach and town, walking out for nightlife, and food was easy too.

Second year in a row staying at Malibu.Once again everything was perfect, the staff really do go the extra mile to make you feel welcome. Will definitely be booking the Malibu again next year .. What a fantastic place to stay

It's a very nice place. Not so big and on the best part of the beach. All the staff are very friendly and hepful and speak some english. The only problem is that they don't have non-smoking rooms.

Best location on the best part of the beach. Moderat rates, great service if you ask for it in a proper manner. Nice pool but why worry using it when the ocean is 15 meters in front of the hotel. Aeroplanes overhead you have at any hotel along Chaweng. Breakfast was great.. be sure to order the omletts from the kitchen, try with ham and tomatos and also the different various Thai dishes. Try out the massages above the resturant. Can defently recommend the hotel and staff

Thai people don't seem to know the word maintenance. But if you understand and love the Thai way of life then this hotel is great. The location is premium, far from the best accomodation but certainly not the worst. I would stay there again.

Accommodation and facilities:
moderate resort central in Chaweng. Rooms are good and nice decorated. Complimentary water and coffee every day. Cleaning of the room was most of the time very late (after 15.00hr). Breakfast was rather poor: every day the same, eggs could be better, bad toaster and very thick toast, we always had the last dishes, restaurant rather small for the number of rooms. Pool OK but not very charming, chairs are almost in the pool, so no splashing please (with small kids...) Resort is fine for a few days but not longer. Very expensive for what you get.

Room is ok. We discovered a big rat in the room. It’s important to now that from 7 am. To 11 pm there is pretty much noise, the hotel is near the airport and the airplane went just over the roof.. The breakfast could be better, but the people is nice as always.
