This was my 3rd visit to Maya Buri. It rained for 8 days straight when I first arrived. And manager Glenn put the backup generator on at 6 to 3am so we could have hot water, tv, and dinner. The pool was still nice and the jacuzzi jets were fixed in April. I met nice people at the resort. The pizza and chicken basket, to me, were the best items. Pad tai was good also. The green curry was water downed and I would not recommend that dish. The maid service was good and they usually finished up by 2pm. I was able to exchange large baht bills for smaller most of the time. The massage walking distance to the west was good. The 3 ladies were very strong at 5 to 10 us dollars per hour depending on what you wanted. The pickup to and from the airport was no charge. Overall a good stay. VEB California

The friendly staff at Maya Buri were lovely, my room was large, clean with reliable WIFI and aircon. Amazing value for money, lovely food too. Great that scooters were available for hire as this is the only drawback, it not being on a main route. Although it was nicely quiet as a result of this. I would happily recommend it to others and come again.

In February 2009 we were over all very happy, as demonstrated by the lower comment. This year, however we can not boast. We stayed in C-4th We were satisfied with the cleaning stations, it was a superficial and weak. Many cleaning up Late in the afternoon, or not - so that should be tackled through the reception that the cleaners and do at least replace the towels - bed linen are not regularly rotate. The collapse of the bathroom counter where sink is located - in the pool, which is very nice but tiles and the risk of injury. Breakfast is provided only European food, but to the emergency room from last year, we were served with the Tai breakfast - but not even that. The staff has become slow and not interesting. We decided that by next year we visited. We chose a different resort. We hope also that this record should also read one of those responsible, because the guest who is not satisfied, not easily come back.

The hotel it\'s self was very good with friendly staff. The rooms were better than I expected, I think there should be a better selection of TV channels though. The only thing I did not enjoy was the food at the resturant

Hotel was clean, tidy and we received amazing friendly service and hospitality from all areas of the hotel/resort. Tranquil location, nice pool, nice rooms but some signs of wear and tear. Rooms can be noisy due to very thin walls. There is no spa facility. Located in between of Chaeweng and Bo Phut (in rural area) so you need to have your own transportation (motorbikes are for rent at the reception). Good value for money and nice place to stay.

Very nice place, it is quiet and it looks exactly as the pictures at the website. Very friendly and helpfull staff, nice pool and clean rooms. When you rent a motorbike you can reach Chaweng or the beaches in the nord very easy. We had a great time here!

My room was a good value for the special that was advertised. The mayaburi is a small resort so when families hord the lounge chairs at the pool they basically take over the whole pool area. I recommend this resort in October when kids are back to school. The pool itself with the blue tile and stone work is a nice feature. The thai food is good, and the new Sunday buffet is a nice venue with bbq, soups, salad, and light desert at a good price. The entertainer singer was also good at the Sunday venue. This was my second visit; I stayed for my first 9 days of my stay and returned my last 2 days of my stay. The overall staff is friendly.

Our party of 4 all booked a deluxe room each. We arrived 24 hours early due to an issue with another hotel on the mainland. When we arrived everything possible was done to accomodate us quickly. We were all impressed with our rooms, amenities and service and we will definately be back as soon as possible. Absolutely perfect for us.

Great luxury hotel at cheap prices. The location is quiet but relaxing. Fantastic pool and large deluxe bedrooms. Staff ok but for some reason they don't provide any info on the resort. Breakfast is small but the restaurant very efficient. Free wifi here to.

Nice and quiet location but possibility to rent motorbike for getting around. If your aim is to go out a lot and explore the island, then this is an excellent place to stay! Overall good value for money, friendly and helpful staff, restaurant serves both thai and western food. Would stay again.

Ob prihodu so naju sprejeli's hladno pijačo in takoj odnesli najino prtljago. Šef recepcije nama je dal boljšo namestitev kot pa sva za njo plačala. Vsak dan menjava posteljnine in brisač ter čiščenje. Vsi zelo prijazni, apartma odličen, bazen velik. Ogromno zelenja, bivanje prijetno.Resort se nahaja se v predelu Big Buda - do Chaweng beach je cca. 4 km. Nujen je najem motocikla. Ostala 8 noči, lahko bi jih še več. Zajtrki različni in dobri.Sigurno se vrneva. They accepted us with could drink next to arrival and took out our luggage at once. Chief reception us came better placing as feel like her. Every day changes of bedding and of towels and cleaning. All very kind, suite excellent, pool large. Enormouslly greenery, residence pleasently. Breakfasts different and good. We return definitely. Rent of motorcycle is urgent. ( Bophut 3 km - Chaweng beach - 4 km )

Wonderful hotel was so relaxing! The pool was exactly how the pictures portrayed it, not so busy as it is pretty new. The town was chilled out and completely different to that of Ko Phanagn. The hotel staff were true the the saying of Thailand the land of smiles . The food at the mushroom restaurant was wonderful and the staff bent over backwards for us. Glenn the manager was great very helpful on email and in person. The price was so reasonable and the most important thing was apart from one cockroach it was creepy crawly free!! We hired a moped and it was so cool to ride around the island. We went to a restaurant called BBC where the mussels were wonderul and the view was the best we d ever seen. Defintely recommend you stay here the place is completely underated a wonderful escape.

This a a great hotel, it's well run and the pool area is great. It's about 10 ins walk to the beach and restuarants or you can hire a moped as I did for 150 Baht.Fishermans village is about 10 mins in cab and Chaweng only 15 mins. The rooms are excellent with a big king size bed and large bathroom and very clean. The rooms also have Wifi. Over all this is a great value for money hotel and it's also very peaceful. Would strongly recommend and will use again!

A lovely resort. Rooms, staff and food great. Pool perfect temperature. Red wine was old, but they happily replaced. We had presidential suite, which was great. Not near beach, but too much of a walk. Would stay again. Also, free internet was great.

Even though we ticked box for transfer from airport, and this was confirmed in e-mail, no one came to pick us up. We had to catch a taxi. Maya Buri said they didn't know about the pick-up, so there seems to be lack of communication between this site and the resorts (this happened at other resorts too). Suggest phone the resort on the day of your arrival.

What a find!! Excellent hotel, the rooms where magnificent. Very Very Clean. Pool area great for relaxing. The restaurant had a very extensive menu, serving fresh locally produced product. I would recommend anyone wanting a nice relaxed resort away from the hustle and bustle to stay here!! Its not far from Chaweng and Bohput either so you have the best of both worlds

I first stayed at the Mayaburi Resort for 9 days. The manager and staff were very nice. I was quite a distance from Chaweng Beach, and did use the pool quite abit. The resort is brand new and looked very nice in appearance. The pool is beautiful and well kept. I had a deluxe non smoking room and it was spacious. The manager was advised to change cable companies because there were no music channels on the tv. I recommend this resort for the first part of the trip and then move closer to the beach area to where the clubs and restaurants are located. I also stayed at the Seascape Resort on Chaweng Beach, and it was a disappointment. The hotel room was spacious, so that was ok;maid service was good. The staff were just going through the motions. The pool closed at 6pm, and you did not feel welcome. The breakfast restaurant near the resort was ok, and the staff was nice. Since the resort is under major construction, you had to leave the resort to get away from the loud noises. I do not recommend this resort.

The resort has an elegant, modern-touch for the accommodations and boasts of its Infinity Edge pool,
which people can find very relaxing and yet very affordable. In Maya Buri, luxury comes naturally.
We assure that you will enjoy the romantic atmosphere of our resort. We are not by the beach,
though it's a 5-10 minutes drive away, depending on what beach.
We're not at the center of the town but we're not far from it,
giving us much easier access to shopping centers for those people who love to do shopping
and bars for people who enjoy night life. But being not in the center of the town,
at least gives us the pleasure of staying away from the busy crowd and too much motorists.
For those people who love to spend most of their time in the resort,
