According to the read reviews on the Internet we were surprised that the room booked by us was much better than we had expected. The standard for this price range is good. Breakfast sideboard was good for the standard of this hotel. The beach was cleaned every day. There could be some more available and some are not any more in the best condition. Also at the Swimmingpool. There is a German and English eloquent employee at the Reception named Katja. She cares immediately if something is queried and shall be changed. Also she has recommended us a boat excursion which one was really good and beautiful. Many thanks to Katja. The situation of the hotel is also very good. Run only about 500 metres till one is in the centre of the Lamai Beach and many possibilities of going out to eat or more? We only can recommend the hotel

Hotel is ok, but i was not happy with location, at the very end of the beach. Means no real beach and very sloppy. Not convenient for my 3 years daughter. More over there was no other kids, but mostly retired very peaceful germans. We change hotel w/o problem. Very nice and flexible saff.

We had 4 nights but after the 3rd Night departed. After we had exchanged 2 times the room. No flush toilet and shower first Room. Outside air conditioning system boomed. 2. Room door wall cabinet moldy. 3. Musty room walls at the bottom of mold. Rooms musty and moldy. Water quality shower water very bad. According to the front 70% have no problems with the water! I ve been acting a proper allergy. The only person the woman has made the Tour of consulting a good job! We will not go back to Koh Samui and especially not in this hotel again.

If your looking for an picture perfect bungalow then DO NOT USE THIS HOTEL. The brochure and website photographs are very misleading. the beach is dirty and not cleaned. the swimming pool isn't cleaned ( ever). The rooms are very basic and run down with rotten doors and balcony s. The staff are very nice and helpful and this this the only plus merit for this over priced Hotel. Better value is found elsewhere and indeed Koh samui in general is lacking charm,beauty and any typical Thai lifestyle. Koh Tao is the best place to visit by far.

Mixed reviews on this resort but I do use the word resort loosely! When we arrived we were shown to the bungalow which is what we booked with a view of a lagoon, which would have been fine if it were not for the construction crew set up 10 feet from our deck. At least they didn't start with the power saw until later in the morning! There were no towels, no hot water and various other things when we checked in that were fixed soon. Just don't expect much - I put in some laundry and it took more than a day and a half, but I did get a bonus of some men's underwear and towels which were not mine. Also, we book airport transfer for 10 am which magically changed to 9am which no one bothered to tell us about... There is one desk clerk who speaks and understands English and really the only one who was helpful -- he was great! We got to the point that we waited until he was on shift in the afternoon before asking about anything! I understand cost is higher during the peak season but it was still way over priced for any season.....The restaurant service was good, the food okay....and, as an added bonus, a desk clerk stopped our van on the way to the airport to collect payment for the motorbikes we had rented and PAID for five days earlier! During regular pricing season, this would meet expectations but a tip - get a receipt marked paid for everything that you pay the desk for!

Wir verbrachten 12 Tage im Resort und wir können es ohne Einschränkung empfehlen. Die gesamte Anlage und der Bungalow waren sehr sauber, Bettzeug und Handtücher wurden täglich gewechselt. Das Frühstück war landestypisch, frisch und umfangreich. Standliegen und Sonnenschirme waren immer in ausreichender Zahl vorhanden. Das Personal war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Kleinere Probleme (fehlendes Handtuch, defekte Glühbirne) wurden im Handumdrehen gelöst. Der Strandabschnitt, an dem das Resort liegt, ist mit der beste in Lamai, keine Steine und kaum Algen im Wasser. Wir würden das Samui Laguna jederzeit wieder buchen.

I do not recommend this one! The facilities are okay-ish, but the staff is absolutely terrible! They hardly speak English, even at reception and are just unforthcoming. The restaurant was nice, simple but nice and staff there was much friendlier then inside . They stole from our rooms, jewelery and money, but the manager was actually laughing about it and the police was told by him that it was an insurance scam so not to help us. Really really bad, as we didn't even have insurance! There are no safes in the rooms so you either have to bring everything of value to the beach, bring it back and forth to the reception (is far)or you get robbed. We ended up with a report from the Tourist Police in Chaweng as the regular police sided with the manager after a lot of Thai converstaions and it took us two days of driving back and forth. For us, it just wasn't worth it and de manager was such a jerk..... perhaps he was even in on it???

Me and my fiance loved the accomodation, we were secluded, had plenty of space and were happy with everything. Only problem was we had a little visitor (mouse) on last week of holiday so we requested a room move. Nothing was too much trouble. Rooms were cleaned every day, restaurant attached to hotel was fantastic, we ended up eating there every night, their theme nights were excellent, the manager was so incredibly friendly. The views from the restaurant were stunning, especially during the full moon festival. You do get what you pay for, it's a cheap hotel but there is so much to do that the comfy bed you get every night. This place is highly recommended and I would love to go back soon.

Lovely location right on the beachfront, great swimming. Beautiful beach and plenty of deckchairs at this time of year. Friendly staff. The beachfront restaurant was nice and seemed reasonable. Breakfast was great too. The hotel room I stayed in was not that nice but for the budget price what could I expect. The bed was uncomfortable but the Resort bought in new pillows during my stay which made the bed a bit better. Overall a great budget resort right on the beach.
