Hotel composé de 2 parties : chambres sur les hauteurs et bungalows près de la plage. Nous étions 6 (2 adultes et 4 grands enfants) dans 1 petit appartement composé de 2 chambres et 1 salles de bains. Les chambres sont grandes, un peu vieillotes niveau décoration mais les lits sont confortables et la salle de bain pratique. Compter 5 bonnes minutes de descente pour rejoindre la plage à pied, mais il existe un système de navette bien pratique entre les 2 parties. 1 piscine pour chaque zone. Personnel sympathique et servible.

We didn't expect that sea would be so dirty, we went for swimming only once during our 4 days stay in this hotel. Didn't much like waiters in the restaurant they were a bit disturbing (they talk to clients much and like they probably talk with their friends). there is a free taxi service to the pier but drivers can be late. In the room air conditioning wasn't working good and one day we went in swimming pool by coming back to our room saw two men fixing our air conditioning so we had to wait for 1 hour in our balcony. We live in beach front and the way to the beach didn't look like on a photo on a hotel's website. Near our room were lot's of trees and flowers where lived many noisy insects because of which we woke up at almost every night. The price is too high for this kind of service, we expected more than we got. Good: pool nice and clean, balcony pretty cozy for chilling in the evening, location - not far from 7\11 and many other shops and bars, room is fine and clean enough.

Perfekt low key and quiet Resort with hotel facilities and services. The staff is extremely nice and the Chalok restuarant with New Heaven down the road one of the best on Koh Tao - especially the BBQ and seafood is recommendable. The beach is nice and children friendly and you have perfect snorkleling beaches just around the corner and in swimming distance (Freedom Beach and shark Bay - Mr. Loi from KR will show you the sharks). The resort has is own dive shop - Big Bubble to minutes away is also great with a lot of expad staff. 100 I'll go back to Koh Tao Resort if I have to Koh Tao

Booked for 4 nights. Hotell is very nice, the staf i great, but rooms are not that nice. Dark rooms and a lot off mosquitos. Can not sit out in the evening. We moved to the hotels paradise Zone after 2 ninghts. This is fantastic. New rooms, nice and clean, and a great view from the balcony, restaurant. The pool is fantasic. Staff is great. If you go to Ko Tao Resort, stay at Paradise. We stayed for 10 nights.

on low season the room was expensive but cool. we are sure that they took us more money. We have amount on our credit cards that we didn't spend , it's very strange! carreful of your spend there they probably charge you for more !!! the food is great a bit expensive for thai food and they don't know how to serve meal , they bring you the dish before appetiser... the personal hwo work there specialy the men in the entrance are scary and strange, girls are nice and helpfull. the swing pool is nice but a bit small for all the people there! this is a family resort but not so good for lovers. the dive is cool ! but you can dive there without being in the resort. the resort beach is not the nicest beach of koh tao ! we spend there 4 days we whent to there beach just once , the water isn't blue but green and the sand is mudy!

The hotel is ok, was probably a very nice place about 15 years ago but now it could use some renovations regarding paintwork and furniture inside rooms. The pool area is nice, just by the beach (no sun chairs on the beach because of the high tides during nights). Free taxi service 4 times a day to Mae Haad (other times they charge you 50 baht per person). Good breakfast. The staff in the restaurant area is great... and the food is good, ok prices for a big hotel!

We stayed at the paradise zone, wich is way up on the mountain. The view is spectacular and the pool is nice. Very good breakfast with yogurt (+++) and everything els you want. The rooms are a bit more worn down than we expected but still OK. Very nice bathroom. Free Wifi but quite slow.. Free hoteltaxi take you down to the beach whenever you want (and up). Not the best beach and the village is quite small with not so many restaurants. Shopping is not possible here but you can take the hotel taxi to Sairee for 200 Bath for shopping and food. You should definitly go here for the view and the breakfast. If you are a pool person rather than a sea person you will like this hotel.

This hotel is said to be first resort on koh tao. I lived in paradise zone for 2 nights overall good value. The pool is a highlight with fantastic ocean view. Room is large but decor is old. Hotel service is adequate but no smile- a little bit cold. I asked for a extension of check-out time (2 hours) but only 1 hour is allowed. I still appreciate but actually, the hotel is not very busy at all (only 3-4 rooms occupied during the period) but they cannot provide either free upgrade or extension of 2 hours- I don't know why. This is not a good business acumen.

we stayed at paradise zone for 5 nights and it was lovely, however not perfect.The rooms are nice and big. there were leaking water due to heavy rains at night from our roof. the staff handled it proffesionally and we got another upgraded room instead.However, thr restorant of paradise zone was closed during our whole period of stay so we had to take the hotel shuttle to the restorant near the beach, at least 3 times a day. it was a little bit uncomfortable and we had to adjust ourselves for the hotel shuttle's time table. in conclusion, we had a very nice time at koh tao resort, staff is very friendly, pool is great, food is very good and the view from paradise zone is magnificant. for a vacation with children in koh tao, i recommend this resort.

This was pure paradise. We stayed in many resorts around the Asia, but this is far the best we have been. The place is spacious and have 3 swimming pools, few restaurants, few bars and occupied half of the beach. Tip:stay in Paradise zone on hill, which offer fantastic view. The only complain is that hill swimming pool has sharp stones on top and you must be careful to not cut yourself as I did. The reception lady was not helpful and did not provide me any first aid. Anyway except that the stuff was excellent.

This property is beautiful. It is situated on top a hill with very good views of the sea. The small pool is also on the hill's edge overlooking the sea. However this place lacks customer service. The staff needs to be trained on proper guest relations management. For example, the front desk clerk named Suwaree is very rude. She was unpleasant to deal with and screams at guests. I once asked to speak to the manager to which she replied the manager is not in the hotel and that he does not have a mobile phone. Also, there is a so called shuttle/taxi between the Paradise Zone up above to go down to the Beach Zone near the beach. This runs only every 30 minutes and only up to 10PM. Walking up and down the long driveway is not advisable (even for a young person like myself) since it is very steep and curves. If you miss the half-hour mark, the staff makes you wait for the next run, even if the pick up truck is at the driveway sitting idle. There were a lot of mosquitoes in the room even when I never opened the balcony door. For these reasons - lack of customer / guest relations and the very steep climb up to the Paradise zone, I do not recommend this place. It is way overpriced compared to similar properties on Koh Tao with similar rates. Stay away from this place. Book elsewhere.

Do NOT go here if you want a clean, bright, nicely designed room and friendly staff, because what you get at Ko Tao Resort is exactly the opposite!! Room: Not what you find on their website, broken furniture, torn wallpaper, bad smell from the bathroom, dark and poor lighting, lots of mosquitoes and geckos because the windows and door do not close properly; sheets and pillows were badly stained, had to be changed which took almost 2 hours!!!! Service: Worst we have experienced in Thailand so far. Unfriendly, they talk about you in Thai when you re around and make fun of you, really annoyed when you ask for help or complain about sth like the dirty sheets, we were lied to ( The manager is in Bangkok , 2 minutes later he was there to talk to us). Whatever you do, do NOT go to Ko Tao Resort. We already had the 3rd highest category (Paradise Seaview) and it was one of the worst rooms in Thailand we had so far.

We just came back one week ago and we really appreciate our stay in Koh Tao, but some few things are to be noticed about the hotel; the main one is the breakfast,it is not bad but the choice is quite limited and the food is always the same, so for such an hotel it should be a bit more important and various, the second remark concerns the place , it is a bit far from everything and the rental of a motorbike can be dangerous (you can see all the people hurt on the island!) and the beach down the hotel is nice but not very good for swim so I think that more free shuttles included in the price of the room should be nice. Other way the staff were nice and the view is beautifull.

Bon rapport qualité-prix mais la plage devant cet hôtel n est pas très agréable. Endroit très venteux quand nous y étions début août. Point fort de l hôtel : un bateau speed-boat qui vous emmène faire du snorkelling à la journée pour 1200 baths par personne. Super car on arrive sur les sites avant les big boat qui déchargent les touristes par vingtaine... Equipage très sympa. Navette gratuite qui vient vous chercher à l arrivée au bateau.

Overall the resort was okay. It was pretty enough, but the rooms were a tight fit and the walls were quite thin. If you don't mind hearing your neighbors flush the toilet at 3 am or argue about who has to carry the sun block in their luggage at 6 am, then this is the place for you. I would not recommend anyone to stay here or to visit Koh Toa for that matter. The island is cramped, too crowded, and the hospitality leaves something to be desired (not to mention a band aid costs 200 baht!). As I am not a diver, I cannot say anything about the diving here (i hear it is really good). So, if you are a non-diver, you can visit many of the more easily accessible islands in Thailand for a more pleasant holiday.

It was our second time to visit Koh Tao Resort, and it was greate time. We arrived at the pier and the hotel pick us up, we arrived around 10 o clock and we got our room quickly. The staff is friendly and very helpful. And the view when you eat is wonderful. If there is anything i would say is poor is the shower, if you like me and my doughter has long and thick hair, is a litle bit difficult to wash it, you have to shower a long long time to get the shampoo out of your hair.

The hotel's website looked a lot more luxurious than the actual hotel. Was beautiful and right next to the teach. There are no elevators and the steps are steep so folks in wheelchairs or physical impairments might have difficulty. The facility is older and the bathroom was not as contemporary as I expected. The room was okay, I still managed to get bug bites as I slept even though the AC was on. I had an okay stay here, not my favorite hotel & I stayed in at least 5 hotels during my 3 week stay in Thailand & Cambodia.

What can I say? Just perfect! We stayed there for a week and it was amazing. The view from the pool and resort(paradise zone) is beautiful. We had the seaview paradise room and it was spacious, clean and the view was great! Food in the restaurant is really good and the staff was always smiling and helpful. There is free taxishuttle to beachzone and you can also take a taxi to sairee at little cost. We rented a motorbike for a whole week, it's really good and easy way to go a round but you gotta be carefull of the roads and other traffic! Paradise zone is quite new and all a round clean and stunning resort and you can always go the the beachzone if you don't like to swim in a pool. They take you there and also back for free. I just absolutely have no complaints about the hotel. It was the highpoint of our trip! Perfect! Would go back there in a second! P.S If you go to sairee beach, Victoria restaurant has unbelievable pasta and pizza.. Nice change for thaifood.

Avarage, we have been in Paradise Zone, thanks to SiameServices we could get the right value for money, Booked the Panorama S.V.Room, but looking at the Hotel standard prices is really overpriced. Service friendly but no skilled, good food for luch or dinner, but avarage breakfast. The Hotel has big potential but running in a proper way is a different story. Missing the mosquito net on the windows, so need aircon on even if could be avoid.

The resort was really a nice and located next to good beach bars. From the high bar nearby you have an astonishing view over the beach and the sea. The resort was kept clean and the staff was nice. By the way you also get a discount when you want to go diving with their diving school. And the dive instructor showed us great diving places near shark bay. Unfortunately it was very windy so the view was not so good. But we still saw various great fish.

My friend & I arrived in Ko Tao around 9 a.m. after a long trip (6 hour flight to Bangkok, night bus, and boat). A driver was waiting at the pier with a board displaying the names of the guests, and the holidays really started at this moment ! Our luggage were promptly taken care of, and after a few minutes drive to the resort, we were offered a welcome drink while the check-in formalities were proceeded to. We were then taken to our cottage, right beside the private beach and went from one wonder to another ! Great service, very nice beach (even if the water is clearer on Sairee Beach), the pool is also great (and warm!) to relax while sipping a nice cocktail. We really enjoyed the restaurant, too, and appreciated the quality of the food that is not overpriced compared to downtown restaurants. To sum up : nice room, great service, great value for reasonable price. Wonderful place to relax. Highly recommended !

This beach is absolutely to prefer instead of Mae Haad and Sairee Beach. Koh Tao resort is situated 2,5 kilometers from these busy beaches and is comparing to them heaven. We stayed in standard bungalow, is was not big, but we come to like it very much. Junglelike surroundings 20 m from the beach, it was not the best beach on the islands, no coralreefs, but it was easy to take a longtail boat to Sharks Bay or a 20 minutes walk to Freedom beach or the one we preferred, June Juea Beach. The resort have a very friendly staff and we liked the buffebrekfast, especially the bananapancakes. Koh Tao islands has a very relaxed atmosphere and is very beautiful.

We had clean and fresh rooms. Our friends were unlucky to get a room which was full of mosquitos and had to change. Restaurant staff quite often got one out of four orders wrong when we had dinner. Breakfast is pretty ordinary, the food offered is good but very little variation. Otherwise it is as peaceful and clean resort with fiendly staff. It is really a place for relaxing. If you are looking for good snorkeling it is not a place to stay as it is more or just sandbeaches and no corals around. Water visibility is also very poor. You can take a long tail to get out to the reefs and get some fair snorkeling. The best is to take a day tour with a speedboat to Similan Islands if you are looking for snorkeling. We found that a couple of days is what we max can recommend to stay without getting bored.

I don't think it was worth the money. we stayed in the new paradise section on the hill. The pool and dining area were both very nice and gave good views, but the walls of the bedrooms are paper thin, and you can hear lots of noise throughout the night. the lower section of the resort which is on the beach, is a little dated, and the beach is not very nice, as it is more of a bay with lots of boats. the ladies who work on the main reception could do with some training on customer service!!

Er was in meerdere kamers van het resort (weet niet of het in ALLE was maar er waren wel meer klachten over) een vieze rioollucht. Deze was vooral's ochtends en's middags erg. Voor zo n duur resort is dit slecht. Was ook niets aan te doen. 2. Het ontbijt was ronduit het slechtste ontbijt wat ik ooit heb gegeten. De keuze was matig maar wat warm moet zijn (zoals spek, eieren, french toast enz) was koud. Heb hierover geklaagd maar is niet op teruggekomen. Het is een duidelijk geval van; het ontbijt zit in de prijs dus die moet zo goedkoop mogelijk zijn. Heel jammer, wij hebben meestal ergens anders ontbeten. Het eten wat je a la card kon bestellen van weer wel heel lekker. Wel wat duur maar goed eten en goede service. Zou niet meer teruggaan naat Ko Tao. het eiland is verpest door het toerisme, zij worden geheel uitgekleed door bijv. de taxies. Mensen zijn alleen vriendelijk tegen je als ze weten dat er geld valt te halen, anders niet. Voorzie dat er over 10 jaar niemand meer komt en de onderwaterwereld compleet dood is. Nu was er al bijna geen mooi stukje om te snorkelen meer te vinden.

The resort is clean, nice people working their. Room close to the beach, small but ok. Diving shop very helpful staff would recommend. Price high, but everything on Koh Tao is expensive, compared to Samui. Use The Resort Taxi, if not they will do their outmost to cheat you. The Taxi Mafia on Tao. All in all a nice and pleasant stay.

Beautiful resort in a nice location(up a hill, 5 minutes away by taxi from center, not easy to walk as the road goes up and down). Terrific pool with great views to the beach. Nice bay, quiet and private beach(small when tide is high). Very good restaurant, cottages are a good size and clean. Friendly and helpful staff and free pick up from the boat on arrival. Overall, a wonderful place to stay and relax.

We stayed at Paradise zone in a deluxe room. The Resort is BEAUTIFUL. The view from up in the mountain is of 2 beaches and other mountains, and is amazing. The restaurant, pool, bar, and free internet room were all great too. Easy to get to the down the beach too, and you can use all the stuff down at the Koh Tao Resort on the beach too. Would definitely stay there again!!!! Wish I was there right now!

It was fantastic couldn't fault it. Friendly faces all the time, nothing was too much trouble, rooms were serviced daily I will certainly be returning. Pina coladas were to die for so much so I got the recipe and tried it out when I got home and it was great. Taxi service was also very well done.

Rooms were a good size, bathroom was a little small but fine. The service was great, rooms were cleaned and towels refreshed when needed, staff were there at every moment when you needed anything. Very polite and friendly staff. Nice pool, food was ok although not great. The location is perfect, right on the beach, enough bars and restaurants to keep you busy but not as hectic as the main town. Very easy to hire a bike locally but beware of BIG FISH who are next door to this hotel - they are money hungry and will do what they can to get more money out of you!

The experience at koh Tao Resort was great! We believe the resort was located on the nicest beach on the island - big enough to feel open and space but small enough to feel the seclusion and quiet peace. We stayed in a beachfront bungalow with fanastic views of the beach/bay and a decent size deck big enough for a family. The room was fine, bathroom a little small but who needs to spend time in a bathroom when you re in a place like that! The breakfast was OK, nothing great but their lunch/dinner menu was extensive and really good. We visited their sister resort up the mountain (they have a free shuttle) and had dinner up there with amazing views. Service was applaudable. We also liked the infinity pool up there and had the place to ourselves one day. We would go back here in a second. However, if you are looking for long sandy beaches, go to Koh Samui - Lamai Beach. Koh Tao is a diving island and so there wasn't much beach in any of the bays, but it was uniterrupted and peaceful as apposed to being harrassed every second on Koh Samui.

Mixed feelings. We had the luxury family room. Room in itsself very nice with an astonishing view and a nice balcony with jacuzzi. However, nearly no water coming out of the shower, it takes more than an hour to fill the jacuzzi, windows not closing very well, ... So everything was a little bit outdated. However we had a pleasant stay and I would certainly recommend the island Koh Tao. Although it was not very bad, I think next time I will look for another resort.

The hotel good, the reception and restaurant really nice, good food and good staff! The rooms were good with the exeption of the paperthin walls and connecting door to the next room. We could here everything our neighboor did... The snooring was devestating! And as we came from Samui and a 4+ star hotel this was a step back! Beach great with coralsand.

An adjoining door between apartments allows bigger groups or families
to holiday together whilst maintaining privacy. There are six of these terraced,

A spacious room with a double bed and an outside balcony, set in
our landscape garden. A pleasant stroll from our swimming pool and the beautiful white sands of Koh Tao's southern beach. We have seven of these air-conditioned

:: Superior Room ::
Set in our lovely landscape gardens, close to the swimming pool and the
beach. There are eight of these air-conditioned, terraced rooms. These
units incorporate your own private patio.

A classy, glass fronted room with air-conditioning. Moments for the beach.
Each with a spacious, shaded private veranda.Deluxe can sleep 2-4 people
making them ideal for the holidaying family. There are twelve of these large
rooms. Each with a large double bed and a single bed.
:: Beach Front ::
With two glass walls and beautiful views all round. These rooms are situated
on the back of the beach with spacious shaded balconies. With two double
beds a family can be easily accommodated in these beautifully furnished
apartments, DVD player, hair dryer and kettle with tea and coffee. There
are only two of these, set in their own gardens close to both pool and beach.
:: Luxury Family ::
A large, wood paneled apartment furnished with two double beds. This unit
also has a gazebo style lounge room and a private, shaded Jacuzzi, DVD
player, hair dryer and kettle with tea and coffee. Situated over the bar
area. Offering the height of style and luxury to couples or families
holidaying in paradise. These two are the last word in comfort. Set at the
centre of the resort, affording a beautiful, uninterrupted sea view.
