Accommodation and facilities:
Beautiful pool (just as nice as the pictures!) and great view over Tanote Bay. Worth noting that the wooden walkway down to the beach was very rickety with missing sections of handrail. Given that the tropical gardens surrounding the resort were immaculately kept, it was odd that the wooden bridge seemed very neglected. There are a lot of steps to negotiate too and it’s a fair drop if you were to slip, so caution advised. Taxis will not drive down to the beach, so the wooden path is your only option and you’ll need to plan your return journey before dusk as it’s not lit properly. As a result, we only visited the beach once during our stay. We enjoyed the food at the resort very much so we never felt the need to take the free hotel taxi into Mae Haad (runs twice a day, not evenings). Our stay was slightly spoilt by some construction works going on next to the pool/restaurant area during the day which wasn’t mentioned on the website at the time of booking. However, the staff were helpful in that they did at least move us to a quieter room away from the noise after our first night. Bungalows are very clean and set in lovely tropical gardens.

Tanote В Tanote Vilage Hill я побывал во второй декаде января 2012 года.Сразу напишу как добирался из Патайи. На автобусе с автобусной станции. Выезд в 8 вечера до Чумпона. Билет обычный стоит около 500 бат( т к курс практически совпадал с рублем далее буду писать рублей) Вип около 1000. Вип место дает еще больше пространства и возможность пользоваться видеоплейером с программами на тайском :) Автобус настолько комфортабелен, что Вип-места абсолютно ни к чему. Прибытие в ЧамПонг в шестом часу утра. Далее на упрощенном английском удачная попытка заказать такси до пирса.Около получаса ожидание такси около получаса езда и около 7-и часов зашли на паром. Тут одна деталь. В семь утра от Чампонга согласно расписанию отбывает быстрый катамаран от Ломпрайя(в русской транскрипции) он идет 1-45, мы плыли в обычном 3 часа. Это были мучительные часы из-за сильной волны. Многие избавились от содержимого своих желудков, но многие чувствовали себя нормально.Цена и такси и парома в районе 500 рублей. Нужно заметить, что это не единственная возможность добраться до Ко Тао. Та же Ломпрайя доставит из Бангкока самолетиком до ЧамПонга, далее катамараном до острова за 2900. Есть Авиакомпания,самолетом до точно не знаю, далее до острова за 2000. Но тоже из Бангкока.В общем есть возможность некоторого выбора. Сев в паром, сразу отправил на электронку отеля письмо, в котором сообщил о свем прибытии и, чтоб встречали :). Правда адрес нашел только в рекламном проспекте, который нашел на пароме :) В инете найти так и не удалось. К свему удивлению по прибытии на остров нас там встретили:) Дорога до отеля заняла минут 20,в основном по невысоким горкам. Где был нормальный асфальт, где участки глины с канавками от водных потоков :) Т к народ уже съезжал (было 10-е января) или по другой причине нам предложили вместо оплаченного стандарта-Family. Этот номер просторный, стоит двуспальная кровать и одиночная и места еще более чем достаточно. Санузел еще с треть бунгало с повторением рельефа :) Кондиционер,вентилятор,холодильник,телевизор: все работало. Наше бунгало было самым ближним к морю,но до него оставалось еще метров 250-300 по довольно опасно выглядещей тропинке. Все фото по Таноте лежат здесь: http://foto.mail.ru/mail/serg_vazhe/Tanote Очень живописная бухта усеянная избушками на курьих бетонных ножках :) Буквально в 50-100 метрах от пляжа расположена скала, сверху которой закреплена веревка, с помощью которой, если форма еще позволяет можно на нее и взобраться. Наивысшая точка 11 метров, прыжковая метров 7. Вначале поплавайте у скалы, убедитесь где прыгать наиболее безопасно.Погода была неплохая: было и солнце и облака. Полежав под облаками часа 3 чуток пригорели :) Цены в ресторане при отеле конечно выше, чем на материке и на набережной, но это обычная практика. Обедали супом Том Кха(на кокосовом молоке) очень вкусно и сытно, большая порция прямо около пляжа 150 рублей. На ужин выбирали целую рыбу и рис на гарнир, салат, все рублей 500-700 на двоих. Попробовали барракуду примерно как не молодая щука :) Само собой развлечений после ужина никаких и уехать за ними без арендованного байка проблемма. Но нам и не нужно было. На берегу тайка делала массаж, желающих было мало, чем мы и воспользовались. Что касается снорклинга. Есть кораллы, есть скалы, есть рыбы. Есть что посмореть. Вечером во время отлива на берег вылазят нормальных размеров крабы. В общем умиротворяющая, расслабляющая и очень располагающая к спокойному семейному отдыху обстановка.Вполне можно рекомендовать любителям моря, спокойствия, незабываемых пейзажей.

What a nice stay, beautiful views over the bay! Very tranquil. Friendly family owned Resort. Maybe some more organisation within the restaurant, which is very good, what a nice Thai food yummie!!! Swimming pool is superb, wish we could go back!

The hotel stays on the top of the hill, the view point at the swimming pool is fantastic. Great place for family or couple. Only 5 minutes walking through the bridge along with a small waterfall to the beach (Tanote Bay). The sea is full of fish and coral which will take your breathe away. Free ride to the pier or beaches near by which is for free. Also snorkeling equipment is available for borrowing. The food was nice. One of the most relaxing places I have ever stayed at, the staff were very friendly.

Sehr schoene gepflegte ruhige Anlage(Anlage ist ca 1 Jahr alt und Pool ganz neu) mitten im Dschungel,bis zum Strand ca 3-5min. mit einen grandiosen Blick auf die Bucht. Bungalows ganz neu und gepflegt. Das Personal ist sehr bemueht alle Wuensche zu erfuellen .Das Essen ist sehr lecker und guenstig. Geheimtipp weil Preise im Vergleich zu der Anlage sehr guenstig sind . Wir hatten zuerst nur drei tage gebucht und dann auf eine Woche verlaengert und haben es nicht bereut.Wir koennen es guten Gewissens weiterempfehlen

Family garden villas are great for the larger group wanting to stay together. With an adjoining inside door between the villa's,
