Hotel is middle of jungle,lot of different animals soud,just we looking for.One morning i was sitting our room terrace and i saw than monkeys came down from the mounting.Nice:)Hotel is quite far from Ao Nang beach,but free transfer for every hours works very well.Bic minus was local school kids who came after school swimming on the hotel pool. Every morning was same,simple breakfast.

Nice place about 3 km far from the beach, but hourly free resort transport works good. Fan bungalow was very good. CZE: Pěkné místo asi tak 3 km od pláže, ale každou hodinu jezdí tam a zpátky zdarma pick-up z resortu. Bungalov's větrákem čistý, pěkný, útulný.

We stayed as a family with 3 kids and enjoyed our stay very much! Friendly, nice landscaping, good location off from the busy main road in a beautiful setting. Distance to Ao Nang beach didn't matter because of the very good shuttle service. Not a busy place with an intimate flair within junglelike surroundings. The family bungalow was very spacious. We stayed actually longer than planned.

Superbe piscine, hôtel isolé du chaos d Ao nang mais aucun souci avec le système de navette gratuite. Personnel très sympathique et efficace (réservation d excursion...). J étais dans une chambre standart avec AC : très propre et petite terrasse agréable. Reviendrai sans hésitation.

The family room comprises of 1 king double bed and 2 singles was good for a family of 4 adults and 1 toddler.got to ask for towels & weak tap/shower water flow.do not know if it is norm.close to nature with awesome cliff view & lots of fresh air away from main road.It is relaxing to drink drunk whilst resting in the balcony.Mozzies are a sore but overall including good prices compensated for it.

Отлеь расположен в джунглях - очень красиво, но сыро. Очень грязный номер (фан-бунгало). Окна и сетки, а также занавески просто черные от грязи. На просьбу заменить номер ответили,что весь отель заполнен. На просьбу привести номер в порядок - помыли 1 окно из 3-х, и на этом уборка закончилась. Вода из туалетной комнаты сливается прямо на землю под бунгало. Завтрак очень скудный. В отеле нет карт местности. Большая влажность (вещи не сохнут)и тучи комаров.

The property stolen. $ 700 was stolen from the safe!. Staff inattentive, returned the clothes in the laundry, said that ottdadut night, but gave only the next day. Iron is not even in the laundry. Very dirty, disgusting breakfast. small swimming pool В этом отеле ВОРУЮТ. Украли 700$ из сейфа!. Персонал невнимательный, сдали одежду в стирку, сказали что оттдадут вечером, но отдали только на следующий день. Утюга нет даже в прачечной. Очень грязно, отвратительные завтраки. Маленький бассейн.

Advantages: - garden resort , quiet location, outside of Ao Nang center (you can really relax there), - every hour transport to the city/beach and back is organized by hotel, - nice, clean room, well equiped. We had great, big terrace (we stayed in superior standard), - quiet air-conditioning, - friendly staff, - small but charm pool with amazing view on the cliff, - whole resort is kept clean and in good condition. We really enjoyed stay in this hotel and made good quality suites in John's Tailor Ao Nang ;). Disadvantages: - only minor ones, not worth to mention.

Отличный отель за очень небольшие деньги.Бунгало в роскошном тропическом саду, по деревьям прыгают бурундуки, по дорожкам разгуливают павлины, есть даже небольшой вольер с антилопами ростом с курицу.Небольшой бассейн с джакузи и видом на нависающие скалы, массажный салон. Все экскурсии можно заказать на ресепшн, подшефное турагентство работает безупречно.Персонала отеля почти не видно, при этом регулярно меняется чистейшее постельное белье и каждый день появляются бесплатные 2 бутылки воды.В номере есть пакет со спиральками от москитов, достаточных на 10-дневное пребывание, их можно использовать во время вечерних посиделок со стаканчиком SangSom на веранде бунгало.Место тихое.До главной улицы с магазинами и ресторанами 10 мин пешком, вечером вся дорога освещена. Можно подождать развозку, которая отправляется каждый час от ресепшн.Единственный минус-домики расположены достаточно близко друг к другу, и если вашим соседям приспичит выяснять отношения часов в 7 утра, то вы будете полностью в курсе дела. Но это мелочь. Место шикарное.

We can truly recommend the place. Perfect bungalow, perfect location (if you like nature and want great views and hikes), the most friendly staff and a superb restaurant with excellent and fairly priced food (be prepared to wait a bit for the food, but its All worth it!).

We spent almost a week in this little paradise in a deluxe bungalow, and it was a really good choice! The resort is situated far from Aonang center and the beach, but the private shuttle bus takes you to the beach and back, there was no problem with it. You have to ask for it and normally there is a transfer in every hour. The resort is on a hillside, there is nothing is the neighbourhood, but when you enter into the resort you'll not concentrate on it. You'll see exotic flowers, trees,waterfall from the high rock behind it, beautiful bungalows..., full relaxing. The restaurant is also great, they do not speak any english, but it is very cheap, and cooks well. It is worth paying for some tours,it is well organised, do not miss Hong Island!I liked the cooking school as well, it was fun,and useful.

The room smelt awfull but looked fine. We booked a familyroom. The staf was Nice, except for the man in the travelagency, he tryed to screw us. He told us he could not book a metered taxi for us, but he could arrange a taxi for us to go to the busstation for only 500 Baht!!! Therefore I Will not recommend this hotel.

Ao Nang Cliff Viev Resort was absolutely our favourit on our trip to Thailand. The resort is created as a jungle garden where each family has its own little house. There is a very relaxed atmosphere and the people working always have time for a chat, which is very usefull as they know the area and can be of great help. If you visit at a time where there is fruit in the trees they often give you some for free. Children will love the place as there is also some animals to look at. The location is a bit far from the beach, but Richard the driver will drive you there every hour. We found the restaurant very good and it is very cosy to sit there at night and listen to the sounds from the jungle.

Wow! What a wonderful stay! This resort is just outside of Ao Nang Beach but the hotel has a free bus service in and out of Ao Nang beach hourly, which was perfect. We ate at their restaurant as felt the prices in the town were a bit expensive, the restaurant food was good and very well priced. The staff at the hotel were extremely helpful (we booked tours and transport to Koh Phangyan through them) and couldnt fault it. Our only regret is that we didnt stay longer here. Thank you for making our first trip to Ao Nang wonderful!

We had a wonderful time during our entire stay, our room (deluxe pool view) was almost perfect for relaxing, it's very quiet and the right place for people who prefer natural surroundings, the staff were nice and attends to our needs promptly. Though quite far from the main beach, the resort location is perfect for tourists who wants to relax in a quiet mode, away from the busy activities from the beach. No worries because there is a transport service every hour to and from the beach and resort. You can also arrange special tours of your choice in the resort at reasonable and almost same price from outside. It would be great if the rooms have telephones to contact the reception anytime and the restaurant would have a minimart selling basic needs and more choices of food.

We stayed at Cliff View resort for 6 night recently, and have mixed feelings about the place. In the hustle and bustle of Ao Nang it is a quiet oasis, being a bit out of the way. However, the location is both the blessing and the curse of this place; more of that later. The grounds are beautiful, lush and well-tended. The pool is lovely, small but in a gorgeous setting by the foot of some dramatic cliffs. We stayed in a superior bungalow, which was nice, if a bit impersonal. The large balcony/deck was the best feature. The bed was comfortable and the baby cot of good quality. The staff were nice, although passive, and we caught the cleaners going through our desk drawer (nothing was ever taken though). Now for the negatives: the restaurant was not very good – it was cheap and the portions were large, but those are the only good things I can say about it (although the buffet breakfast was good). Since there’s nothing nearby except a 4-star resort (a lot more expensive but better food), this is a real drawback (especially when we were stuck in the resort with a sick child…). Water pressure was terrible, even by Thai standards. A couple of times there was no water at all, and at one time it was a brownish red (staining everything it came into contact with). But by far the most annoying thing about Cliff View was the free, supposedly hourly shuttle to the Ao Nang beach front. The resort is not within walking distance of the beach/town centre, which makes you pretty reliant on this transfer, or tuk tuks. The management of Cliff View also run the Barracudas tour agency, and it turned out they often used the resort shuttle to pick up and drop off tour passengers from other hotels. Which meant it was often late, and took a looong time. One day we tried to get the 4 pm shuttle back to the hotel, but two whole cars filled up with Barracuda customers, leaving us standing on the pavement with our baby (had to take a tuk tuk back). Another evening, we discovered our baby daughter was running a fever and were keen to get back to the resort asap. As it was 8.05 and the shuttle was supposed to leave at 8.10, we went to the Barracuda office (from where the shuttles from the beach front left) and were told the car would leave in 5 minutes. It did leave after 6-7 minutes, but took off to the other side of town to drop of various Barracuda passengers – no one had told us of this detour. We arrived at the resort half an hour later, needless to say I was furious (my baby was sick!) and complained, but got no apology, just a shrug. After that we gave up on the transfer and paid for tuk tuks ourselves. All in all, this is probably a great place for backpackers (they also have cheap non-ac bungalows), but I wouldn’t recommend it to families or anyone wanting reliable transport and access to water, or good food.

We stayed here two nights and would go back again. We had a standard room and it was like we expected considering the low price. Simple but clean, nice and friendly staff. Breakfast was OK and the pool was nice in the afternoon. We also appreciated the location with the garden and the lack of noice from cars and motorbikes. The distance to the beach was no trouble for us because they had a free driving service every hour until 10 pm.

Волшебное место. Находится далековато от пляжа, но каждый час из отеля пикап возит постояльцев в обе стороны. Номера волшебные: сейф, холодильник, чайник, зонты, фонарик, WiFi работает отлично. Сам отель очень живописный, находится у подножья высоченной скалы, очень много зелени, растущих из ничего орхидей. Есть свой мини-зоопарк с павлинами, кроликами, курами, фазанами, мышиным оленем и обезьяной. Бассейн, спорт-зал, сауна - бесплатно всё. Очень хорошая местная и европеская кухня (попробуйте Tom-Kha!), завтраки - шведский стол. Место супер!

Клевый отельчик за свои деньги. Нам нужен был скромный тихий отель как стартовая позиция для экскурсий во время пребывания в Ао Нанге (ибо большую часть времени рассчитывали проводить вне отеля, а хороших пляжей в самом Ао Нанге нет). Отель оправдал все надежды. Очень приветливый стафф, хорошая и недорогая кухня, и, конечно же, шикарное природное окружение! Никакого шума, кроме звуков тропического леса, изредко перебиваемых кукареканием петуха в подсобном хозяйстве отеля! От отельчика до центра Ао Нанга и обратно каждый час курсирует автобус-пикап, перевозящий клиентов, и поэтому неудобств , связанных с удаленностью от береговой жизни совсем не чувствуется. При отеле работает экскурсионное бюро, весьма качественное. Рекомендуем всем со сходными потребностями.

We loved this resort. It is not within walking distance to town, but with the shuttle service to and from the beach, it makes it one of the best places to stay. We loved being able to go back to our quiet bungalow in the woods after a long day at the beach. The staff were all very helpful and they even upgraded our room. We hope to go back!
