The hotel has an ideal position close to Ao Nang beach. It is on the main street, but the rooms are farther from the road so you do not hear noise from restaurants and bars. The rooms are very nice with a beautiful spacious terrace. The standard rooms on the terrace could be more seating. The hotel has a massage, you are at a high level, cleanliness and discretion granted. The staff is friendly and helpful. definitely recommend!

bad. booked it based on reviews that it was clean. big mistake. i ve always stayed in budget hotels so my expectations were not high. i just need a clean room. however, dimly lit room gives you goose pimples the moment u step in. shower head had algae on it. hot water will run out halfway when u re bathing. they must have left the doors open while they were cleaning the room so everyday was a battle with the mozzie. what is worst.. there were bed bugs and i had bed bug bites all over which took some time to heal =( quite a nightmare..

A quite good hotel. I came to the hotel with my girlfriend and they had aranged a double room with 2 single beds. I asked for a room with a doublebed for both of us. They letted me change room the next day. The new room was a bigger deluxeroom with doublebed and also dvd player and better shower. They did not ask for extra money and that I give them credit for. I am happy with my stay at The Dream Garden :-).

good location - short walking distance to shops, 7-11, and the beach. nicely decorated room. the aircon was really high-up with no remote (i m 5-2 and had to climb up on the table to adjust the temperature). it was fairly quiest and peaceful until night time, when apparently the nearby club opened for business - the loud pumping music was audible until the club/bar closed around 2 (maybe a problem for light sleepers). shower was good the 1st day but on the 2nd/3rd day IT STOPPED WORKING.... maybe it was a Krabi-wide problem (the laundry service next door told me water would stop for a while) but the hotel staff did not say anything! The cold water in the sink was still running so I filled a glass with water to shower ... also there was no stopper for the sink so I had to improvise with my lotion bottle to fill the sink with cold water to rinse soap off.... a rather unpleasant experience for not a cheap-cheap hotel.... it was a nice place other than the shower not working and the music at night.

Good location,easy to find a place to eat,book tours & taxi.About 10 minutes to Beach by fair walking.Rooms are bit old fashioned.Clean daily,give free mineral water in bottle everyday,AC is without remote control so it becomes either on or off.We order for triple bedroom and the extra bed was very bad,hard to sleep on & we pay same price.Bathroom is okay but toilet's shower isnt working properly.I wont stay here again when returning to Aonang beach one day but generally the woman in the reception is quite friendly and we got helped for our luggage to our room when we arrived from one of her staff.Just remember,no lift to rooms so be prepared for stairs.

The name of the place is a nonsense : Dream, close to nightmare, Garden, there is NO garden, just few pots of plants !!! To get to the room you got to go down stairs that passed under the office (humidity), it's a long alley bordered by the A/C of the others buildings next to the accomodation (noise). They made efforts on the decoration which is nice but the finition were not there. We got to ask each time we wanted to take a shower for the hot water. The tab was broken and the flush also. The service was awful, the girl was taking more time for herself with hair and make-up than for client. We book in advanced and payed already so she didn't care... Down the stairs there is a spa that I would like to recommend, people very nice and competent.

Perfectly fine for the little amount of money you are charged by the night. I guess we were a little unlucky with the room that was prepared for us considering that the balcony for ours was not as nice and tidy as the other ones. At the time we were there a hotel was being built at the back of the hostel which made a lot of noice but you cant blame Dream Garden for that. No breakfast buffé but the café has everything that you can ask for and it worked out perfectly. We were happy with the stay at Dream Garden Hostel and would recommend it to others. Extra plus is the short distance to both city and happenings aswell as the beach!
