My girlfriend and I stayed in the resort for 3 nights, arriving from Railay Beach. The transfer was easy - a hotel representative was waiting at the dock in Phi Phi for us with a sign. Upon arrival, we were helped by very friendly and attentive resort employees. We were considering upgrading to a suite from a regular room and the woman who helped us recommended that we do. We sure are glad that we did, as the suite was incredible - a bungalow right on the beach with amazing views of the water, complete with outside covered area with table and chairs (which was very helpful when it rained in the late afternoons) and breakfast brought to the room. The service couldn't have been better - hotel employees were always friendly and ready to help you with whatever you needed. When they mixed up our breakfast order one morning, we called room service and the new order was brought to us 5 minutes later. The restaurants were great, although a bit expensive, but worth every penny. The spa was also incredible- best massage I have ever had. I wish we had known about the village (with cheaper restaurants and massages etc) behind the resort although it didn't change the experience one bit. The infinity pool was great - always had space to sit and I loved the swim up bar. All in all, this place was amazing - we wish we had stayed there longer instead of moving on. And 8 weeks later I still think about our time there. I would recommend to anyone!

PP Island Village Beach Resort & Spa made our holiday. It is paradise over there. The hotel is extremely clean and beautiful and always freshly designed with flowers every day. It has everything you can ask for. It has four excellent restaurants, two spas, very big pool, internet cafe, beach bar, pool bar, wifi bar, recreation centre for scooba diving, snorkeling, kayaking, day trip to explore the island, pick up from ton sai bay and drop off all the way from the hotel to phuket airport. They welcome you with a ver interesting drink and orientation about the otel. The bungalows are very beautiful and all surrounded with trees and plants and flowers. The private beach is amazing. Our stay at PP Island Village was just perfect. Leaving it to back home was very difficult.

We spent 4 nights at the resort. The Phi Phi Island resort and spa is an amazing place. It's location is perfect for individuals and couples. The crew was pleasant and willing. There is a problem of poor English skills but they overcome it with willing and hospitality. The resort is located far from the city (village) and any trip to the center will cost you approximately 1700 BAT. Other than that this place is PERFECT !!! Especially for couples or honeymooners. The place is romantic, its bay is beautiful and the resort itself is amazing not to mention the sunsets. There is a minor problem of mosquitoes but - that is what happen when you live in the jungle. We also used the hotel travel services booked from swadee.com. The service cost a bit more but it worth it since it took us directly from the hotel to our destination. I have only one word PERFECT I cannot wait to go back

So amazing! Best resort ever. From the moment you arrive you are treated specially. Throughout your visit, every staff member looks you in your eye and says hello. Prices are a bit high for Thailand, but it is a resort. Also! Walk behind the resort for restaurants and bars and massage. The massage at the resort is 1900 baht, while there is one for 200 a few feet away. I m sure they are different experiences, but we wish we would have known sooner that all that stuff was behind us. Also, you can take the hike over to Tonsai bay in about an hour- it's really neat and great experience. Once there you can hire a longtail back for about 1000 baht after 9pm, and cheaper earlier. It was super fun to take a boat at night and wonder how safe it was! haha, it is very safe. This resort is amazeballs. The pool is crazy. I would rate the food as not so great.

Breakfast was really good. We really enjoyed our stay and will come back within few years.

The outward appearance of this resort is truely lovely, but don't be swayed by that. The staff are very inhospitable! The service is uncaring they are only interested in the tourist dollar! The prices are inflated and you pay for absolutely everything. The price to get from there to Phuket is so expensive on their private speed boat and they only have one service daily so if you have two nights there and arrive in the afternoon you have to be on the ferry at 10.30 the morning you leave boat and back to Phuket on their 10.30am ferry leaving you with one full day but paying for 2 full nights!!!! Due to the disappointment of only having on day there and we went there for my birthday my husband asked for an upgrade, they didn't want to know us and told us they were booked out. That was totally untrue as there were several empty bungalows along the beach front for both nights we were there he even told them that it was my birthday, they didn't care less. They told us that for extra money we could get a private boat back to Phuket at a later time, for the unbelievalble cost of $600 AUS for 2 adults and 2 children??? We ended up getting the ferry back for a quarter of the price they charged. We asked for a late check out after all this and they harrassed us with 2 phone calls to our room to see when we would vacate the room. Nice resort but would never go back the staff are cold and unfriendly.

If you have children in pushchairs, or have a disability or are elderly, think twice before booking here. There are steps everywhere, which makes access to just about everything difficult, and you'll also need to manouever in and out of both a ferry and a longtail boat just to get there. We were unaware that TWO boat journeys are required, and it was a nightmare journey with our two small babies - hence my poor rating for location. The journey from/to Bangkok took us nine hours, which is pretty extreme for a local destination. What aggravated the experience further was that there was nobody from the resort to meet us at the Phi Phi ferry terminal as promised. There was a guy with a resort sign, but his role remains unclear as he kept sending me off on wild goose chases and it later turned out that he doesn't work for the resort. The two guys who do work for the resort were nowhere to be found, and were rude when we finally found them. I had two babies, an elderly lady and my wife sitting waiting for me throughout, so I was very unimpressed indeed. In all the confusion, and whilst trying to manoeuver two prams plus all our luggage down the narrow, crowded jetty to the longtail boat, we also lost our mobile phone, which was a big nuisance. Otherwise the location is very pretty, but that goes for just about everywhere on any Thai island beach so that's no particular reason to choose this resort. Also be aware that the food is extremely expensive and not very good. There are some far better places to eat in the village at the back of the resort (we particularly recommend the Monkey Bar
Reservation service:
Please make it more clear that there are two boat journeys involved, and that clients must make their own way from the airport to the ferry. We would not have booked on Phi Phi with two small babies if we had been aware of how difficult the journey would be.

Wonderful!! Just go there, as simple as that. We spent our honneymoon there and it was the best location we could think of. One thing that has to be mentioned: They let you believe that the resort is kind of isolated and therefore, use their restaurants only (which are quite expensive but fine). The staff don't mention that there is a small village (phi phi village) just 5 minutes walking outside the resort, in which you can find small shops and even a very good restaurant called leemah.

A terrific peaceful resort, the staff are very accommodating. Because it is isolated you do end up paying more for meals, and services, but if isolated beach and peaceful tranquility is what you are after this is the place. We upgraded to a beach front bungalow and it was worth it to wake up to a morning view of the ocean. I highly recommend booking a half day speed boat to Maya bay on Phi Phi Lei... that was my travel brochure moment and justified my entire trip to Thailand.
Reservation service:
SiameServices.com was very helpful. Even though a little confusion about airport pickup, they sorted it out over the phone. I highly recommend booking for the EARLY 8:30 AM ferry to the island so you don't waste anytime in transit.

Nice hotel with nice rooms (stayed at beachfront) and long white beach, but not many attractions and no roads to escape - access only by boats. Did not like the restaurants - more like a kanteen in terms of food, atmosphere and service quality. After noon water flows off the shore far away, so you need to walk 500 meters if wish to swim in daytime. Spa was good although reasonably expensive. Did not find anything specially attractive in the hotel to wish to come back, but nothing to complain about.

Well what can we say. This is the most amazing place. The best hotel we have stayed at. We only spent 2 days, 2 nights but could have stayed forever. The staff are just magnificent and we stayed in the cheapest room but it was still divine. So may thoughtful touches, the greatest attention to detail and care to make sure you have an awesome trip. We left our 2 year old daughter with grandparents but wished we would have brought her as it is a great place for children. The pool bar, the amazing wana spa where we had a couples treatment package, the beautiful beach..... I could go on and on. Worth every penny and we will be going back.

We have just arrived home from our holiday in Thailand. Overall we had an awesome time. We stay at Phi Phi Village for our last 3 nights there so it was competing against all the other great places we had already stayed... In terms of attention to detail around the resort and the rooms they win! Although it was quite expensive (for Thailand standards) and we found the staff weren't as friendly. Every time we had a shower it would take 15mins before we got hot water which at times wasn't convenient. The food and tours were very expensive - although the food was very good. However, if you walk behind the village there are a few other restaurants etc. We would recommend you only eat Thai food at them cos western food was very poor. Behind the village we booked a private longtail boat for 1,300 baht for 4 hrs. We had our own personal capitain who took us around the island, stopping anywhere we wanted for as long as we wanted. He also recommended some great snorkelling locations - some of the best we seen! If we booked a similar tour through the village it would have cost 2,200 baht EACH and we would have only got to go to one snorkelling destination. You can also walk to Tonsai Bay - takes about an hr through jungle etc but was fun. Provided the biggest variety for breakfast compared to other places we stayed. Met some nice Thai people behind the village. Not sure if we would stay again but would definitely recommend going to Phi Phi just to see the beautiful blue beaches, caves, coral, fish and other scenery.

We had a wonderful stay here. Our villa, the entire resort and the food provided were excellent and all the staff were delightful. My only criticism is that the resort speed boat transfers from and to Phuket were pretty choppy and uncomfortable and a larger, if slower, boat would have been preferable.

The hotel is beautiful and if you want an isolated full service resort that charges for every last detail then this is the place. It's far from the main town on Phi Phi and there are no boats to get you back to the hotel late in the evening so if you are interested to have a relaxing holiday at a far off resort than this is great, however the prices for everything are marked up significantly. Representative of a high end resort in an expensive place, not so representative of Thailand.

Wonderful setting, lovely staff, lots of honeymoon couples, suggesting that it is a special resort for a special occasion, although not exclusive to couples. The hotel is expensive in comparison to local prices and there really are not many alternatives to eat out etc, however there are a couple of bars to eat at behind the resort, pretty basic, but I feel you should support the local people where possible as they are still recovering from the tsunami and don't appear to have directly received much aid. We had fried squid and prawns in garlic at a bar next to the river behind the resort which was very good and cheap, beer plentiful, but spirits not really available as the bar owners don't seem to have the funds to buy this, perhaps visitors may like to donata spirits to enable them to sell on! Opposite the bar you can buy beer,/soft drinks, from a little store. All in all we loved Phi Phi, gentle and relaxing, the beach and the view of this as you sit eating breakfast can be described as paradise, however if you want an all action holiday don't go there, it is a chill out and relax place. It is possible to take long tail boats to various places all adds to the fun, Tonsai around the bay is the opposite to Phi Phi, mad, busy, backpackers dream, lots of market stalls cheap hotels, food and drink, worth a visit as a pure contrast to Phi Phi. We also stayed at the Rawi Warin on Koh Lanta, and although a beautiful resort, it doesn't compare with Phi Phi, for a variety of reasons, we will definately return to Phi Phi, but would not return to the Rawi Warin

SiameServicese have been excellent, everyting they agreed to do, they did, we feel that we were able to rely on SiameServices, although this was a new means of booking for us, we would definately recommend them and have no qualms about using them again in the future. Well done and thankyou SiameServices.

We stayed here as part of our honeymoon and loved everything about it! It was far enough away from Phi Phi Island to feel remote but near enough so that if we were bored, we could hop on a long tail and wander around the shops and restaraunts. The resort is stunning, the staff super friendly and the rooms very nice. We stayed in a deluxe room, which was on the 2nd row and just 10 steps from the beach. We originally had a superior room that was a 15 minute walk away!! Luckily we were able to upgrade. The room was lovely and they even left us a little suprise for our honeymoon which was a nice touch. Some reviews said that the food is very expensive and because it is quite hard to get off the resort, it is a con. However, we thought that the food was reasonable for a 5 star hotel and you do have the choice to go to Phi Phi. The only thing I would fault the resort on is the fact that you have to pay even to use their shuttle service to go to Phi Phi AND even when they pick you up from the ferry. Seeing as there is no other way to get to the resort (you cannot hire your own long tail, you must use theirs), it is a bit of a ripp off! All in all this place is paradise and we would highly recommend it!

The hotel was a peice of paradise in an already beautiful island. It is far enough away from Phuket and secluded enough from the rest of Phi Phi to give a feeling of isolation from the outside world. At the same time it is close enough to Ton Sai that a boat there doesn't take too long if thats what you feel like doing. All in all, great service, beautiful location. I d go back for sure.

I like this hotel which is quiet and beautiful especially the swimming pool. The staff here is very friendly and alaway smilling. The food is delicious but very expensive as well. The excursion fee is also high, such as rent a long-tail boat costs BHT1300.00, higher than Thon Sai pier. For snokeling fans, it is not ideal place, because you need to walk long way in the shallow sea. In a world, it is paradise for lovers and people pursuing relax.

together with the Rayawadee in krabi, this is the best hotel in Thailand. Sure it's not a 5 star luxury hotel, but at less than 100$ per night you'll stay in the best beach in thailand, on the best island, in the most incredible setting. All bungalows, good restaurant, great pool and spa. Calm sea in winter as well as summer. I would rate this hotel n. 1 in the list as there are only pros.

The most beautifull resort we ve stayed at. It was expensive to eat there or to book an excursion, triple the price compared to other places on the island. We were a bit upset that it is so difficult to get of the resort. There is only one time to leave the resort, leave at 12 and return at 5, 200 bath. And you'll have to book this in advance. At other times you'll have to pay 1400 to 1800 bath (day or evening) for a double way boattrip of 20 minutes!!!

Absolutely lovely location. Very peaceful and relaxing feel. Beach is wonderful - clean, clear water. The pool has everything you need too..one of the best pools we have seen at a resort. Spa service is expensive but professional and relaxing in a beautiful environment. Thought the food was expensive but on par with other resort prices. We stayed in a superior bungalow which was small but the great covered verandah made up for this. The only fault is our room smelled of cigarette smoke and I thought the bathroom could be a little cleaner. Overall, we were very happy with this resort and will definately return here. Great for families and romantic getaways. DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU ARE AFTER ACTION OR NIGHTLIFE

Beautiful resort on Phi Phi Island. Nice, clean bungalows. Very friendly and helpful staff. Food is very good, extra plus to breakfast. Pool area is very nice with big varited pool. Perfect location for families or pair that don't want the hectic, commercial side of Thailand. Activities are arranged and good snorkling can be done outside the beach. Only negative may be that prices are higher on food etc compared to Phuket etc. However, we think it was worth it. I can really recommend this resort.

We loved this resort for our Honeymoon. The pool is fantastic and the Chalets are cosy. The food is really nice and good quality but you would have to be really hungry to get value out of the nightly special themed buffets. Be sure to explore the other side of the Island if you are looking for a swim on your own - however there is a little rubbish to contend with.

This place is really lovely, perfect for honeymooners or families. Only down side is that you are isolated from the rest of the island. This actually wouldnt be a problem if the prices weren't so high for food and beverages. After getting a long tail to the mainland and back to escape the expense at the resort you may as well have stayed at the village for dinner because the private longtail boat cost almost 2000bht. If money is no object then this place is paradise. Its quiet, the staff are efficient, the bungalows although they are not out of this world, are set in such beauty is hardly makes a difference. The Staff at the dive center are lovely and made my padi qualifying dives a doddle and put me at ease. So all in all I highly recommend the village but be prepared to see almost european prices attached to everything. Example would be a mai tai cocktail for 330THB after taxes and services charge (10% added to everything). I cant understand why the prices have to be so high, we are still in thailand after all. All in all we loved our stay but left feeling a major pinch in our wallets. PS: The transfer from the ferry to the Village is difficult. If you are old, have a major weight problem, have children or lots of luggage be warned you have to get your feet wet and try and get on a longtail boat. For those who are fit and healthy and travelling light this should not be a problem. Just thought I would mention because we met an elderly couple who battled to get on the boat and hurt themselves in the process.

I booked a superior room of PP island village Beach Resort & Spa for one night. I was luckilly upgraded to the new beachfront villa. The room was awesome with a jacuzzi bathtub. The staff was friendly. There are two restaurants in this resort, one for breakfast and one for dinner, which means not much choices for dinner. They have different theme for the buffet dinner each night. The dinner was great, but I think it will get bored if staying for one week.
Reservation service:
SiameServices had a prompt reply, always. I could get a room from SiameServices with the same hotel even though other hotel reservation web had informed that no room availability. Good service.
