The hotel is only about 30m from the sea. Go for the more expensive room (5th and 6th flr) as you can watch the stunning sea views and beach activities (jet ski, paragliding etc) in the balcony unblocked. The waves created by the boats are beautiful. The sunset is memorable. The hotel room is clean and they give free beer, milk, fruit juice and coke daily. It is located right at Beach Road so you can flagged down a baht bus right outside the hotel. The hotel massage service is very good. The downside is there is no swimming pool and bath tub in the room.

I stay 10 days in this hotel. It’s at the beach and a very nice and clean hotel. The air-con is somehow noisy. The breakfast is special and very nice. The reception staff is good, the other staff is not always that friendly, but overall I did enjoy my stay and will book again for sure

A great location only to be beaten by great staff. Love the free minibar and the warning that you are not allowed to take bottles out of your room, or you will be fined... It's good value for money for anyone having a brief stopover in Thailand but does not want to stay in sticky Bangkok. Transport from BKK airport to Pattaya (approx. 1 1/2 hours) costs between 800 and 1200 TBT one way. Will be back again soon.

An excellent hotel. Wonderful rooms, perfect view from our basic seaview room, breakfast unusual but delicious ( the core was eggs, any style, with a scrap of bacon and ham and a cocktail style sausage) but then there was croissants, bread, cereal, muesli, a selection of juices, a large bowl of chopped fruit in syrup, coconuts (to drink the milk), and a generous selection of other fruit,and a selection of delicious cakes to help yourself to (black forest gateaux etc.) The room was modern and stylish, and the bathroom was excellent, as was the service from all the staff.... very professional, efficient and friendly. The only thing missing was a pool, but I never usually get round to using them anyway. Having lived in Thailand for 11 Years and stayed in hotels in all price ranges, I would highly recommend the Baboona to anyone.

Friendly reception with a nice orage drink. One of the nicest rooms that I have had in Thailand. 32 flat screen tv with about 60 channels. Nice shower stall with overhead and hand shower. No tub. Free wi fi and 2 computers one in library and the other in reception area. Two bottles of water, one can of coke, one caton of milk and a carton of grape juice included in the small frig. For me north pataya is nicer than the south. It depends on if you want to be next to the craziness or not. Buses run all day on the strip for about 10 bht. Central mall is about 10 minutes by foot. The beach walkway is the fastest way to get around or to take a walk or jog. Good breakfast, eggs mad to order with a slice of ham,bacon, and hotdog sausage. Comes with pinaple and orange juice. They also have seasonal fruits and cereal. Also included in breakfast is a whole coconut water. Took bus 389 from airport first floor all the way to the left. Next to expree bus to the right. 124 bht for a ticket. Early flight I took a taxi back for 860bht which included highway. Night it only took 1hour to airport door. Going it took 1:45 minutes by the bus. Have fun!

Very comfortable new hotel in very good condition. Staff are friendly and helpful. Only drawback is that I am not sure the extra cost (1900 bt/nite) is worth the water view compared to other ok hotels on No. 2 Road (1000 bt to 1500 bt)

This has been said already. Baboona Hotel is brilliant. The day we arrived we were greeted with a smile. The staff at the hotel were just first class all the way through. I traveled with a friend and they made us feel as though we were with family. We took the time to actcually sit and talk to them and they always made the effort. We had the Deluxe Rooms & i can say that the rooms are worth the extra bit. The views were spectacular over the Thai Gulf. If I go back to Pattaya, Baboona is the only place that I will be staying.

Nice fine Hotel, stayed in the deluxe room on the fourth floor and had a great view over the beach. For me the room was complete nice big bed and a shower wich worked great. The hotel have in the shower free shampoo, conditioner and soap in a triple tank. Flatscreen in the room with many channels about 65, so you can see Thai, Dutch, German an Russia channels. For a appartment without a swimmingpool maybe high price but the big sea is in front off Hotel just 40 meters. For me important it is clean, good working airco and friendly staff. Had the Songkran just before mine door so a great Hotel looking forward to visit them again.

Great place. Nobody bothers you, staf a bit unpolite, but did not have to deal with them much, so did not afect our stay there. Great big room on the 4th floor overlooking beach. I have stayed in the hotel for 10 days. As soon as taxi stopped my luggage was taken to my room for me and I have been offered a free orange juice with ice. Nice touch. Staff was very friendly all the time. Room was very clean, modern, with a nice view over the sea. I was onn the 3rd floor. TV had 50 channels. Some music channels, FTV, loads of news in different languages, Pattaya channel. Shower was clean and spacious. Quite a big balcony too. As for security I had a inroom safe and security was there 24/7 at the hotel door. Can leave motorbike no problem. Only thing to say they have a bar next door. Can not see from balcony, gives no problem, but little bit noisy until 2am. But then again, its Pattaya :)

A very nice hotel, small but modern. Receptionists were very friendly and courteous, service with a smile. Room is great, very clean and large enough with a balcony to have a view of the Pattaya beach and the street. Breakfast quite nice. 2 bottles of water and 2 soft drinks provided free of charge in the room fridge, fantastic. Good rate and good service. I will definitely stay there again.

My husband and I really recommend this hotel. Its location is one of the best, situated directly opposite the beach, and central for shopping and bars etc. We had a deluxe room with a sea view, however this was on the 3rd floor and was slightly obstructed by some trees. So when we go back, I will book a room on the 5th or 6th floor. The room was really clean, and all bedding was changed on a daily basis. All staff where amazing and friendly, and very welcoming. We have stayed in thailand many times, and stayed in various hotels. However we were really impressed with this hotel, and will return in the future. Thankyou for a brilliant holiday x

Baboona Beachfront Living
Accommodation and facilities:
This is the second time I checked in. i got a welcome drink and staffs seems friendly much more except the one in restaurant. He seems only welcome the western guest and he didn't receive the breakfast vochure from my mother.
Reservation service:
If you re western, they will have a lot of welcome.if not, it is not recommended even you got a lot of money.
