The room was nice, very spacious and clean. Breakfast also nice. The hotel location is not near to the beach, but it was OK for me, since I can rent motorcycle from hotel. Overall, I have a great stay at APK

Very nice place to stay on your holiday. Location is good, not too far from the beach and all the happening, but still on a quiet location. Staff was very friendly and polite. Breakfast was good and versatile. Only negative thing was that the shower didn´t work in a best way; warm water didn´t run constantly, it was more like cold or very hot. We travelled as a family 2+1(5y).

hallo,first i say the was very great hotel nice room and was place i like near to evry thing,but but the staff so not friendly never care iff you want some thing only one stafff good the women clean room so nice always say good morning rest stafff dont care no smile no good morning how are you,not good some times sit wait for order for food not care must call many times and the most was when i ask can i stay and book 8 days more no no the say go internet do and i try want staff help not care dont care so yes i move hotel sorry for that i like apk so much must but fire staff and get some one care guest i come thailand 3 times a year 4 month off all and myplan come be you hotel now never i have so many hotel patong easy find but why not be frindly carsten denmark

Nice small hotel and helpfull staff, but the room air condition is connected room to room, so if you don't smoke and your neighbor smokes you re in big trouble... I had to sleep with the AC off for not being in a nightclub full of cigarette smoke

I have stayed at this hotel for 5days at superier room with breakfast. The day i arrived at hotel at 11am , but the frontdesk staff told me tat i can only check in at 2pm. At the time of 1:10pm i ask her to check for me if there is any room available so i can check in abit earlier as i am really tired, but she just throw me check in 2pm with the dog face. At their in room facilities page, sofa is provide, but when i check in the superier room, dont even have a chair to play my laptop, so i called the frontdesk to ask if i can borrow a chair. She told me that they dont have chair...what can i do? their hotel dont have a chair...at the last night , the air con was leaking , i ask to change room ,but they send technican to my room to fix it after half hour, then the technican spent another half hour to fix it, then abt 2hours later at late night it starts to leaking again, so i just ignore it and sleep with the di da di da sound and take care of the wet floors. OK, come to the last thing , i book the taxi service from hotel to send me to airport, my flight is 9:50am, but they helped me book taxi at 6:30am which means i have no time to have breakfast at hotel... kk,fine.. the day i check out i didn't see any taxi there but a hotel mini bus, now i will tell u guys how much i pay for this mini bus --700 baht... LOL I spent 500baht only for taxi to get to the hotel at first day.. a hint u those who going to book this hotel, dont even think abt the hotel swimming pool , tiny size and dirty =(

The room we were allocated was well presented and was serviced daily. The breakfast set us in motion for the day. The staff were friendly and helpful. Location was central. Overall, I am satisfied with this hotel, the room is clean and spacious, shower room is nice, water supply is good. The place is quiet and suitable for family stay, staff were friendly. However, the location of this hotel is difficult to locate, you will need to pay someone there (local people) to bring you there. Do not plan to walk to the beach, you may want to rent a transport vehicle. The hotel provided internet service and you could also buy internet card if you bring your own notebook. Breakfast is buffet style. Good value for money.

Questo albergo ha un sapore coloniale....l arrivo spaventa un pò, si passa attraverso una sorta di baraccopoli, ma appena si è davanti all entrata dell hotel si respira un aria che riposta ad antichi sapori....le camere ampie, con bianche tende in canapa mosse dal vento caldo della sera....il panorama dalle terrazze non è gran cosa, ma nell insieme il posto è piacevole e offre la possibilità di un fresco riposo. Con una decina di minuti di camminata si raggiunge il centro, molto vivace fino a tarda notte, per questo si è felici di essere dislocati un pò fuori! Nel complesso, come rapporto qualità prezzo, lo consiglio vivamente, a noi è piaciuto molto!

Out of the three hotels we stayed in on our trip this was the worst. The other 2 were excellent. From the moment I entered APK hotel we had problems. They did not have enough saftey deposit boxes to put our passports in. After insisting I needed to put my passports in a safe they finally put it in the hotels safe. This made it a hassle to get things out from the safe or put things in as the guy working at the desks is usually talking and giggling to his mate on the phone so you need to wait for him to finish his chat before being served. The satelite T.V did not work because the owner did not pay the bill. Everytime I asked about it they told me tomorrow. 3 days later still not working so i said to them how bout giving me a dvd player till you sort out the tv. They said to me you have to rent it for 200 baht a night. Firstly this is a rip off as the other hotles we stayed in charged 50 baht a night for a dvd player and secondly I told them i should not have to rent the dvd player since it is their fault our tv channels are not working. They also rent bikes 50 baht more expensive then the other hotels we stayed in. The one good thing about APK hotel is that it had a lift. But we did not use it as the hotel lost power a few times when we were there and i noticed the staff did not check to see if anyone was stuck in the lift so we instead I used the stairs to the 6th level. Overall we did not feel the staff there were helpful or friendly and we definetely wont stay there again.

Hotel was clean and the room we stayed in was pretty big, with a balcony. Only thing was that the hotel itself is a 15 min walk to the main roads and the beach. It's situated in a little lane amongst houses where the locals live, so it's a bit of a walk from all the action. Breakfast was good and overall our stay was pleasant. The only thing that annoyed us was that the reception staff booked us a taxi to the airport for 600 baht (It shouldn't have cost us that much because from the airport to the hotel when we first got to Patong, it was 400 baht, so they were charging us another 200 more. And the lady was telling us that she'll cancel it if we don't want to pay that much. I know it's not that much money anyway but the annoying thing was that they try to rip you off with as much money as they can just because you re a tourist). If you want to stay closer to the beach and Bangla Road, then try a different hotel as this place was still a fair walk from everything.

Very comfortable hotel with large rooms and an excellent shower !! Friendly and helpfull staff .Some people have said its too far away from Patong center but i found the walk which is about 10 minutes quite pleasent . The only problem is finding it in the first place ! Take a map from the hotel website for the taxi driver,it helps.

PLEASE NOTE: This is more of a hostel than a hotel. I placed a booking for three whole weeks here almost a year in advance, but began to regret it upon arrival. I was given the room above reception but the noise from the arrivals/departures, guests, taxis, tuk-tuks, motorbikes, shouting, etc. below my balcony was relentless. After several sleepless nights, I spoke to reception who then moved me to the smallest room available at the end of a corridor (so much for booking a year in advance). I eventually moved a third time and discovered immediately that the toilet was broken. Upon reporting this to reception, they had the ordasity to accuse me of breaking it - priceless!!! Although this hotel is in a quiet district and well away from Patong town, escaping the internal noise of the building is a futile excercise. There were people running up and down corridors, from room to room at all hours of the day and night. Loud music and shouting from the room next door and several others. When I rang reception, the man didn't have much understanding of the English language and wasn't interested. On another occasion, upon getting dressed and visting reception, the male member of staff was asleep with his jacket over his head and couldn't be woken. The rooms are very basic and not over-clean (on several occasions I was told that the maid had forgotten to clean my room but would do it tomorrow!), the bathrooms are extremely shabby (even by Thai standards), and could do with updating. The reception staff are surly beyond belief. If you are thinking of booking here, you have been warned. Patong is a fabulous place, I ve been four times and should ve done my homework better. If I were you, I would spend just that little bit more and book alternative accomodation. If this place relies on repeat business then they ve killed my custom stone dead as I wouldn't stay here again if they decided to give me the room free of charge. I used to think Fawlty Towers was a sitcom before I stayed here, now I realise it was actually a hard-hitting documentary!!!
