Good and clean hotel with average sized rooms. Not at all bad for a night stay during your transit to or from Koh Samui. Near to 7-Eleven Store, Tuk-Tuk (Taxi) Stand, and on main city road. Breakfast is average but what else can you expect paying mere USD 35..???!!

I has sent a re-confirmation email directly to the hotel towards my booking with Sawasdee.com. But they did not respont to it. On my arrival to the hotel, initially, the hotel reception could not trace my booking, but they handed over the room keys to me without any hasstle. Later on, when asked, they said that they have traced the booking..!

Stayed one night as a stopover before flying to Bangkok. Half an hour by taxi to the airport, may be better booking yourself as the hotel charged us 600 baht for the transfer. Rooms were good, breakfast excellent wished we had had a meal in the hotel but instead went across the road to a Korean BBq, not recommended really,got charged 15 baht for ice!!

excellent value for money for a obviously recently renovated , large room. ´travelagents´ tell you about ´20 km out of town´. don´t trust them. it´s near a tesco/lotus and 10 minutes by tuktuk ( 4-wheels!). means 70 - 90 bht one way to town center or night market. plus: bus stop ( also for airport transfer 100 bht p.person/ taxi is told to cost 300 plus ) in front of the hotel. big breakfast buffet in good quality.

Diamond Plaza is quite a journey from the centre of town where i was dropped of on the bus. Reception staff very good, nice room good size no safe in room and no tea or coffee making in room. Internet available Bht100 for 24hrs so not bad. Evening meal prices very reasonable and also drinks prices in main restaurant very good. Good evening entertainment. Karoke bar empty when i went and EVERYTHING in the lobby bar far to expensive,but nice to look at. Had very average massage at the spa Bht420. Hotel does not realy have many western guests and there are no signs any where in English to tell you where things are,ie pool,massage, Karoke etc.

The Hotel was ideally suited for a stop-over after a 9 1/2 drive from Kuala Lumpur on the way to Cha Am close enough to Highway 41 so as not to lose much time. The room was tidy and Breakfast was more than adequate, for dinner on the 13th my wife and I had one of the best steamed fish in ages. We will stay at Diamond Plaza again and reommend to our friends as well. Lets be realistic, where can one stay with 2 people for about 25 Euro including B/F in Europe?

Very clean and staff are very helpfull, Staff all good with english and helpfull on the phone. I will contiue to use this place as my base as it is central to everything and price per night is good. only a little negative, it gets a bit of road noise on the front side rooms. Good value for money hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful. It's a bit far from downtown, but has all facilties needed for a pleasant stay. The suite room was designed a bit typically with a column with a TV in it in the middle of the room.

We didn't know we could get straight from Phi Phi to Ko Phangan...but because of this hotel, we didn't mind our schedule-mistake at all. The price is very good, typical Asian style breakfast included, incredible and huge mall very close by (good meals for 30-40 baht at the food court). If you want to experience a quick stop between island hopping in a very untouristy place, living with the locals, this is the place to go. The pool overlooking the city was a treat. We highly recommend this hotel.

Efficient but impersonal like in many Thai provincial non-tourist towns. Breakfast was a bit of a free for all and as there were no tables I had to grab some toast to eat in the lobby. But that aside, clean comfortable and great value. Nice pool. Front desk staff extremely helpful when I asked about transport to railway station.
